I went to this beauty supply store since it was the only one open and I really needed lashes. I walked in the store and I am the kind of person I dont like to be bothered when I am shopping unless I actually need assistance. So lady comes up to me and asked me if I needed help and I told her no that I am still looking. So I continue looking and the workers kept watching me and looking at me. I felt personally harassed and felt like they were discriminating against me. I dont know why they followed me around the store but it really upset me because I was really actually trying to buy things. I ended up finding what I needed and paid for it. I am giving a bad review because they treated me like I was a criminal and not a customer. I am honest person, so dont know why I got treated this way. I will not spend my money here ever again. I will spend my money elsewhere at a different beauty supply where I wont be harassed.

If I could leave a 0 I would the owner Bush is very nasty to his loyal customers wouldn’t let me exchange some braid hair that I purchase from his store after spending thousands of dollars in his Establishment he told me I didn’t purchase the hair from his store even when I tried to show him the receipt he refused to look at the receipt. Do not shop here!

Best place for good hair color

I will no longer support Moya Model. I went there in April/May 2020 to purchase items for a relaxer. I have never relaxed my own hair, and hadnt had a relaxer in about 5 months because COVID, understandably, required salons to shut down. Bush entered all of my relaxer items into the register, and told me the cost was approx $75. I swiped my card and completed the transaction. I asked Bush about the activator and measuring cup. Id seen that the measuring cups come with the kits online but didnt see one with my items as he was bagging my products. He asked one of his employees to open a larger bottle of activator and pour some out into a smaller empty, dusty container with no markings to indicate quantity. This made me nervous, so I turned around and walked back to the counter and told him nevermind, I no longer wanted to purchase the relaxer products. He told me no refunds and then attempted to blame this policy on his merchant services company (who later told me that this was unequivocally untrue). I told him then that I did not believe that his merchant services would prevent refunds. I never left the store with the items. The entire transaction from him bagging my items, to me watching the employee try to determine which activator to even open to pour into the unmarked bottle, to me requesting my money back was a matter of minutes. I stood within view of Bush or his employee the entire time. I checked the consumer laws, and he is allowed to not offer refunds as long as the sign is prominently displayed. He is in compliance, as he does have a sign that says no refunds on the front door (although I dont know if Affirm allows opening one bottle to resale or reissue in a smaller unmarked bottle because I did not call them to check). He should just say that he has decided that no refunds will be given under any circumstances to include (1) a customer never leaving the store or front counter area after purchasing, and (2) a customer requesting a refund less than 5 minutes after a purchase where the customer is with the owner and/or employee the entire time. I wholeheartedly disagree with Moya Models refund policy, and havent returned and will never return. I prefer to be treated with respect, and his inflexibility under these circumstances and his subsequent explanation blaming the merchant services company was disrespectful, IMO, to me as a consumer. Bush permitted me to exchange the relaxer products and I now have a wig that I have never worn or opened.

A hair place thats open on a Sunday

Another great store in the area. It has many hair products to choose from, wigs, braids, waves, hair care products that i never heard of and fun to experiment with. Barber items, oils and dietary supplements. Highly recommend it

Overpriced. Do yourself a favor and make your beauty purchases online. Just purchased a seemingly cheap but conservative styled unit for work, out of desperation. I arrive at the register and after asking if military discount is offered, Im informed that I had earned myself a 20% discount--Me: Scratches head thinking Wow, how nice. Foolish idiot! I find out shortly after exiting the store that I had been taken. They marked a line through the $49.99 price tag and up-charged me to a tune of $63. Does that sound like a 20% discount to you? And to my dismay, had I waited a few days, I wouldve saved myself about $40. This was the tipping point when I saw that the price online was $20--Maybe cheaper had I taken more time to browse other websites. Moral of the story, save your coins, do your research first and when in desperate need to spend your hard-earned money, remind yourself that people capitalize off of ignorance everyday...especially at BEAUTY SUPPLY STORES.

The staff is really friendly and helpful, the prices are the usual but they have a good selection. The wigs they have on display are well groomed which is nice cause most places have their try on wigs lookin a mess.

They do have a good little variety of products but they cant have that many because the story is pretty small and the service OK and if anybody tell you otherwise they telling a story . To me it seems like they are willing to help females that are willing to give it up faster thats just my thoughts they love them dumbThots

They are liars and scammers! I went and bought some hair from them and took it back the next day to exchange for a different color. When i told the girl working in the store how much i paid for the hair she said, i dont know why they chared you that much this hair doesnt cost that much! Never never never buy hair from them. It sheds and gets tangled!

DO NOT BUY CLOSURES FROM HERE. I’ve had my hair in for two weake and it was consistently shedding and has already thin. It gives me a bald spot. There’s one right in the part. AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE AND WASTE OF MY FUNDS. I HAVE BEEN ROBBED OF MY TIME AND MONEY. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED.
