Very comfortable restaurant but you would not know it was there. Built in a retail type strip mall looking building. Competitive prices. Thick toast which I like. Tables only, no booth seating. Small stool bar area by register. Friendly staff and attentive.
Oak Street Café is one of those Mom and Pop places where you can walk it knowing its going to be great. The staff is great, the food comes hot and fast, and you can really enjoy yourself. I personally recommend the Biscuits and Gravy. Probably the best in the area. Go get some today!
Excellent food and service. Waitress was prompt with everything and very nice. All of the staff was working hard to make sure all of the guests were taken care of. Very happy with this place and will be back soon
Great place reminded me of younger days. Friendly staff and fast out of the kitchen. I ordered the saus, bac, ham skillet. The food was great but it lacked something. Then it hit me, sausage gravy thats way was needed. One side later and tada yumm city. I will be returning, alot.
Nice little find on our trip to Green Bay for my sons USA hockey national tournament.Nice smaller breakfast lunch restaurant with a set menu and some specials and loved the fact it’s the menu was not on overload. Basics and some specials. Spot on.Found counter seating and ordered my usual Eggs Benedict. Staff was friendly and prompt with coffee (a pot!) and water.Liked the fact that the food did not come out quickly a good sign of home cooked meal and a order chef who cares. Meal was perfect, egg yolk was runny which it should be and egg whites firm and thick. Bacon was also cooked well crispy but too much so. No rush to eat and get out either as some breakfast places are.Overall a recommendation to go here and enjoy some good breakfast food. Thanks Oak Street Cafe!

Excellent food and service. I had a skillet that was absolutely delicious. It may look small on the outside but come on in and youll see that theres more than one dining room.
The location is great, the food is fantastic and reasonably priced the staff is wonderful from the moment you walk in until you leave. Its clean in the tables are spread apart or you dont feel youre on top of each other. A great place to go for breakfast and do lunch.

I got eggs benedict. I think it was the best hollandaise sauce I ever had. Only reason for 4 stars is the yolk was hard. I never specified just assumed usually soft yolk with eggs Benedict so maybe it was my fault. My wife got the breakfast burrito and she said that was good as well. We would definitely go back

They so need to learn how to cook. hash browns patted together is not a potato pancake.. I know what potato pancakes looklike Made them! when I asked for potato pancakes they said this is their potato pancakes I said these are hash browns.. dont order potato pancakes here because they give you hash browns

So, DONT let the unassuming exterior steer you away, this IS the best breakfast around, hands down, not a question. Pancakes larger than a dinner plate, delicious bacon, home made bread, very fair prices. Try it, you will be hooked (fishing pun, as I know a lot of people come up for the fishing, thats why I was in town actually). Just awesome!
My go to place for breakfast. Skillets and omlets are what I usually get. My kids love the pancakes. I should probably try those some time.

I dont have a bad thing to say. However, I have plenty of good things to share. As some background I have 17 years cooking experience as well as 13 years bartending.That being said... Oak Street Cafe uses quality ingredients, has a very friendly and well trained staff, owners that care, and consistently crank out food at an amazing pace. I stop in a few times a month and typically order carry out food. I rarely wait more than 10-15 min from my phone call ahead of time to food in hand.I have had a few things wrong with my orders (nature of the business) but those small issues are always dealt with promptly and to my satisfaction. I have never left unhappy or hungry. The portion size is average-large for WI and huge if you are from out of state. The prices are very reasonable. The menu is quite diverse. Bring your friends and an appetite.This is a local business who has powered through the Covid-19 pandemic and I applaud them for everything they do. Please support local business!Additional note for pet owners: I always have my dog with me in the car. The staff is always accommodating and provide water and container upon request. Had family breakfast at oak street. Staff is welcoming and you see the connections they have made with the regulars. Food is really good. The toast and homemade jam is amazing. Have there a few times myself and was.able to bring the whole family. Highly recommend.

Service was good. Friendly and attentive. The food (stuffed french toast) was not. Bread wasn’t cooked all the way. Cream cheese was bland as it just came out of the container. Only thing I could taste other than bland cream cheese was canned strawberry’s.

Have eaten at this ham & egger restaurant many times thru the years as my work takes me into the Green Bay area frequently and i always enjoy the atmosphere in a place that has the local feel to it. The food is always very tasty, not spectacular but always enjoyable in any of the items i have ordered and the service has always been excellent as well. Good coffee a must and they have that as well.When you see the same familiar and happy faces of locals that are loyal to a place like this and the same servers who have worked there for years, it says something very positive about the way the place is run and is why i recommend Oak Street Cafe for breakfast (never had lunch so cant make an opinion)
This is a great place for breakfast. The dining room is large enough to accommodate their rushes and the staff is attentive and quick to please. Not over friendly, but nice. The food is good and worth what they charge.

Love the food, atmosphere, and service. All employees are willing to help you if you need something whether or not theyre your server or not. Parking is a bit lacking but that is minor. Will always recommend going there.
Fantastic all the waitresses, food, and wait time for the food is very timely, the only thing is on the weekends they have a pretty good wait time to be seated, I personally do not like to wait and would go someplace else where i can be seated right away.

I have been here twice so far. Both times have been very pleasant! I ordered breakfast items both times. The omelette I ordered was awesome! I hate it when my eggs are brown, but these were not at all! I will be ordering omelettes from here again. I also ordered the Eggs Benedict and it was also delicious! The waitstaff was very helpful and welcoming.

We stopped by here for breakfast, the only times the waitress stopped by our table was to ask what we wanted to drink and bring us our food. I had the BELT (Bacon, Egg, Lettuce, and Tomato), it was very good! The service was ok, but not great. I would go back, but hopefully the service will be better.
I heard great things about this place but I am not sure it lived up to it. The wait staff was capable and very nice, but my hash browns and omelette were mediocre at best and the atmosphere was wide open and sterile like a banquet hall. The others in my group really liked their meals but that might have been them just being nice because my boss paid... The prices were fair, as I got a good amount, but I guess I expect to pay a little less for breakfast food so I certainly did not feel like it was a great deal. There was some parking up front and plenty more in back. Overall, it was pretty average, which is not a bad thing, but I dont feel like I need to ever go back there.
Whether dining in or curbside pickup Oak Street is always excellent.
Ordered togo knowing they were busy the wait didnt matter . One server was great got me a coffee and said I could sit & wait at the counter. Another waitress who must have had the counter section wasnt so friendly as she told me well if you called you wouldnt have to sit there and wait . She also kept going in the big tip bucket on the back counter and taking money out . The food was very bland and expensive for what we got.
Ive only eaten breakfast here and every time Ive never been disappointed. The food as service are always good. They are usually pretty steady with customers every time I go, so they must be doing things right. They keep a pretty simple menu but serve up great food. So if you are looking for a great spot to get some breakfast look no further.

Our hotel did not offer breakfast while in the area. A search of a nearby Cafe proved a homerun. Oak street was filled with locals (good sign). The service food and prices where excellent.I wish I lived 100 miles closer to make it a regular stop.

I was a little worried when we got there and saw the line of people waiting. We were looking for a place to grab breakfast on the way to Milwaukee and didnt have much time. They cleared, cleaned, and set tables in a flash. They moved through the line in no time and wow! It was certainly worth the wait. Great food and amazing service.
