This is an amazing place with some fantastic books 📚 for children. I have been so pleased with my experience and my purchases.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this place! Mr. Omar has a large selection of great reads by black authors. The customer service is PHENOMENAL! The other plus; if Mr. Omar doesnt have it at The Listening Tree, he goes out of his way to get it! You would definitely fall in love!

As an educator and advocate for human rights and life-long learning, I was thoroughly impressed by the Listening Trees diverse range of titles, their knowledgeable staff and administration, and the receptive environment that the bookstore offers. Our family has purchased several materials for our young child and participated in one of the stores Meet the Author events, a phenomenal opportunity for families to hear the unique, culturally relevant texts that the bookstore offers read by the actual writers of the books. We intend to support the Listening Tree even further in the future, and we recommend that all families in the metro Atlanta area do the same.

Love this bookstore! The books are beautiful as the owner is so in tune with the children who come through there. A must visit for anyone looking for books featuring beautiful, Brown children!!

Excellent selection of books!

OMG! Wanted to recycle my community money and took a chance on a local bookstore. I didnt find what I wanted, Michelle Obamas newest book for my wife (which the owner said would be in stock in a week due to customer demand) but what I did find was a jewel of a book store selling creative black works. He, the owner, engaged me and my children. He played games with the kids all while teaching us about current affairs and our connection to the mother land. I absolutely recommend this place for you or your childs next book. #recycletheblack$
