Very bad encounter today. Hours posted as closing at 7pm today, we were in traffic and got there at 4:58 pm and the door was locked lights off with two customers in store. One of the workers (a male) came to the door to let a customer out and I asked if I could get two items since I had driven across town and he very nastily said “you got two minutes “. When asked about the hours posted I was told they had no control of the hours posted. Worst experience ever, will not return until they get courteous workers

Although I live less than 5 minutes away, my best friend actually put me on to it. I accompanied my friend of 35 years to find this wonderful place. I saw a lot of healthy things my daughter mentions, Elderberry Lozenges and such. Its for the most part Vegan, not just a book store. I will revisit with my family soon.

The cashier was not focused on her work, talking on the phone while dialing, the prices, as they do not have a bar system to process sales, I considered necessary to check the prices on my own with my own calculator, they made a mess about it, it was a bad experience, maybe not go back to buy there. some prices are higher than at Kroger.

Every single time I visit this store I am greeted with awesome customer service and superb products. It is not easy to keep perishable foods up to date and current while trying to make money off inventory. But Ive never gotten old or close to outdated foods from them. I appreciate fresh products and great customer service representatives. They have a huge range of vegan/vegetarian foods and meet substitutes considering the size of the store. They also have another store closer which is located near Hamilton E. Holmes Marta Transit Station.

Ive driven by here for years but decided to stop in this time when referred by a coworker. The lady at the register was busy on her phone and didnt look up the whole time I told her that I was referred by someone and was excited to learn they sold vegan products there. I thought shed point out to me where they were or offer some assistance, but she just kept looking at her phone, so I stopped talking and looked around. I was familiar with some of the products but not all. A good amount of variations, but too pricey for my budget. I bought some snacks to the front to get checked out and the lady barely looked at me. I dont know if she said thank you or not. Just thought as a new customer, Id get a little better service. Still, Id go back to shop for some of the products when I can. Maybe she had a rough day.

A hidden gem in Decatur. I was so excited to see a nicely, decorated bookstore with a variety of healthy, organic items in addition to a plethora of books and ministry supplies.. I purchased the items I needed and then some. They have my favorite sesame candy at the counter. When I saw my candy I was sold. The bookstore had nice, soft, religious music playing in the background. I will be making another trip in the near future. Well worth the drive from Gwinnett The cashier could be a little more friendlier and smile. I am not sure why some christian people tend to be so mean looking and full of anger? Other than that I enjoyed the store and the contents within.

Its nice and clean and the employees are very approachable. Great variety of food and Christian trinkets.The only thing that bothered me was a selection of paper booklets that I bought that had information contradicting biblical teachings such as Hell not existing as a literal place. They are sold for less than a dollar and im not sure if most people actually buy them, but be aware.

It would be nice if they updated their business hours.

Really like this store. They have many vegetarian and vegan foods, beauty products and supplements. As well as books and devotional materials. Its easy to get in and out since theres never a long line. Theres ample parking. Theyre a little on the pricey side but you can usually find everything you need so theres no going store to store.

This place has more vegan meat products than any store I have ever been in. Lots of seasonings too. Everything seemed fairly reasonably priced. As a vegetarian I was overwhelmed but the selection of vegan meat products.....Older building, very clean.Chicken, Shrimp, Tuna, Beef, TVP, Steak, Barbecue, Sloppy Jo, Sausage, Bacon Bits, Hot Dogs, Taco Meat, I know I am barely scratching the surface of what this store has. Frozen, canned, dried, bulk...They also had some other types of health foods too-pastas, teas, gluten free items, oatmeal, etc.And lots of books. It is kind of divided into a book section and a food section.So surprised to find this in the area. If you dont eat meat it might be worth checking this place out just for the surprise factor.

Other than the religious books this is a great place to find vegetarian and vegan foods. They carry faux meat, soy protein, vital wheat gluten, frozen items, non dairy ice cream, liquid vitamins, supplements, seasonings, soaps and toiletry items. Located not far from the perimeter aka I-285 but it sits back off the street so slow down when your GPS says youre close to it. Plenty of parking.

As a young black woman I was pre judged when I reached the door. The young lady at the register was rude. She greeted everyone. Except me and my family. She didnt even ask us did we need help she followed us. I refused to buy anything. So we left she still did not say anything to us . Also she also was nationality black. Its always your own kind. Such a shame

Theres a good variety of vegan and vegetarian products out here. And they sell books as well.Its a little bit pricey. They dont sell produce here. It is mostly canned goodies, frozen stuff, and some herbs and natural products.

Very friendly place, happy to pass by and pick up vegan or vegetarian groceries whenever I am in the area. Things can be more expensive than found else where, but I like to support the smaller businesses whenever possible.

While we were in the store they had a bible scripture contest and we won a free vegetarian roll on top of getting a $10 discount on our entire purchase. Its on the other side of town but the savings make the trip worthwhile.

Amazing selection of vegan foods

The name is somewhat misleading, as this is more than a Christian/Adventist bookstore. I go here all the time to buy vegan protein products (meat substitutes).They carry all sorts of vegetarian and vegan food items at pretty reasonable prices (frozen foods are generally cheaper elsewhere, like Kroger). Food and religious material are separate, and there is no obligation to have any religious interaction if you just want to buy food.Staff are generally friendly, though sometimes inefficient. They take credit cards and NFC payment. I believe proceeds benefit the Southern Adventists. Overall a solid neighbourhood institution.

Everything vegan!! They have the vegan hotdogs I use to eat as a kid, that stop selling in regular stores but luckily I found this place and now I can enjoy a good hotdog this summer. Plus red zinger tea which is also hard to find in regular stores. Prices are high but its to be expected when the items are vegan and rare to find in any store. Gonna go vegan or vegetarian, come here!

So the atmosphere is conducive for a book store and a health store...So many good foods long time I havent seen them, like dinner roast...the place has literature por español and English speakers...and also a herbal medicine/cosmetics isle, there is a little spot to sit and read/browse inside and outside...the hours of opening are pretty good...but its closed on Saturdays opened every other day tho. Good vibe!
