Went to go shopping for an engagement band (inherited a stone from the family) in Cherry Creek North with what might be considered a more modest budget for that area. There are quite a few jewelers over there, and I was getting discouraged as shop after shop had limited interest in helping me out. I stopped at Fifth Avenue last, and had a very different experience. Michelle was extremely helpful, and in short order had given me several good options to choose one. I picked the perfect one, and they worked with the designer to get the setting modified for my stone and managed to work with a tight time line to do it, getting it to me in time for a trip on which I would propose. The ring and service exceeded my expectations, and my now fiance loves it. We will definitely be going back for our wedding bands. Strongly recommend this shop.

It’s sad I only got to have this experience once. The staff at Fifth were incredibly knowledgeable and accommodating. Michelle was stellar. She had no need to play the badgering saleswoman, but rather allowed the process to play out since she was well aware they had what I wanted. The day I entered the store was the same my decision on the ring I was going to propose with was made. This all happened during the holiday rush, so any promises made as to the timing of said ring being created and available were seemingly dubious. Miraculously, the cad drawings and finished product were all done honoring the timeline I was promised, bravo.The folks at this store are great assets to have if you are looking to make customizations to an existing setting. I had originally purchased a rock online and needed a setting. The setting they created from scratch matched my expectations perfectly, and they even made some last minute changes at my request.My fiancé loved the finished product so much she can’t seem to stop looking at it. I’m starting to feel invisible... haha!

Each piece we’ve modified or created from scratch has come out beautifully, quickly, and has been appropriately priced.Beyond jewelry creations, Michelle appraised my engagement ring for insurance purposes and helped me navigate through that process. Also, she assisted my dad in selecting jewelry for his girlfriend. I had an 11 o clock appointment to verify a watch that the owner of the shop sold as authentic. PANERAI in Aspen said it was a fake.Upon entering I was shunned and treated poorly by one of his helpers. She told me he had another appointment and I should leave. After 20 min of him hiding from his mistake I left. As I had a work meeting.Beware jewelry here may be nice and of quality, but this con artist will not stand behind his word. Shame. I will continue to take my business to reputable dealers with world renowned inventory.

Fifth Avenue Designs was a breath of fresh air for both my fiancé and I during the ring-buying process. We went to many many other jewelry stores in the area, and none of them were as genuine, honest, and accommodating as Rick and the team at Fifth Avenue Designs. My fiancé is very detail-oriented, and Rick probably spent 6+ different sessions working with him to find the perfect stone. While other places immediately tried to sell us rings without even seeing what a real diamond would look like in the setting, Rick shifted our focus to choosing the most important part of the ring first, the diamond, and working around that! I dont know why it had never occurred to us before to go about it that way, but it was definitely the right call since most of the investment is in the stone itself. The ring came out beautifully and was exactly what I was looking for: simple, elegant, and timeless. Looking forward to working with them again in the future!

We looked extensively online, in local competitors and those mall stores; Fifth Avenue Designs was able to WOW us with their attention to detail, custom design, and willingness to work with us on pricing. They are amazing! We really wanted to keep our business local and have a connection when making such a large, lifetime purchase. We got the engagement and wedding rings here and they were able to design the rings exactly as we wanted. I knew I wanted a mixed metal ring and they were able to blend the look of white gold and rose gold exactly as I imagined it. I was also interested in oval and pear diamonds instead of the more traditional round. They ordered in options that were in our price range so we didnt get distracted by ones we couldnt afford. I first used Fifth Avenue five years ago for a custom piece and again to rebuild an engagement ring from rare European cut diamonds and now for my custom wedding bands. Larry and his team helped me design the perfect engagement and wedding ring, blending old European cut diamonds that had been in one family since the late 1800’s with brilliant cut diamonds from the other family. The history behind each stone was so unbelievably special to each of us that words cannot possibly describe.
