Best place for Asian food and a great owner! Pls support her!

I have been going here since I was a kid and have always been treated with kindness here. Today my wife son and I came in to replace our wok and was given excellent advice on tools to use with it. Very friendly and will alway recommend you guys to everyone I know

I went here as a kid, and I just like the fact that its still around. I went there recently and it felt nostalgic. Great place with great people.

Like most such stores, this place is small but packed very tightly with items. They carry a huge variety of Asian foods, and cooking items.Though the store is a little dingy, the items are clean and safe. Id recommend this store for the specialty items they carry.

First time to this establishment and the experience was great. Was looking for ingredients to make pho soup and (I assume the owner) helped us find all the ingredients. Even gave other solutions to make it cheaper. Amazing customer service. Great place to shop.

Great for stocking up on the staples at our house. Jasmine rice, sticky rice, oolong tea, the best sharpest knives, sauce bowels, and more. Stop here before a chain grocery store!

On my way through Des Moines, I stopped to check out the shop. I will return for more pantry items! Ahn was extremely helpful and patient while I asked his opinions on which brands were good choices as well as recommendations for staple items I should have for Asian cooking. I only visited three isles on this trip as I was looking for pantry staples. The store is very packed with items. I cant imagine NOT finding what youre looking for here.

I thought that this was a pretty good Asian store until I got home with my produce and the limes were brown inside and the tea was stell tasting. I also noticed many fruit flies after this purchase. When I called the owner had a too bad attitude and didnt make things right. When I tried to give the store another chance, I had to continuously ask what the produce was, because most items are unmarked, and how much it was. A lot of the selection are limp and unfresh. The same female, the owner, would shrug her shoulders and say I dont know what it is. How can you not know whats in your own store??? I wont be going back.

We like the products this store offers. Unfortunately, half their merchandise has no price on it. You have to wait till you get to the counter to find out what you owe. Thats a deal-killer for me, because you never know if theyre ripping you off. I can put up with the cluttered isles, because thats common for most Asian food stores. What I wont tolerate, is un-priced merchandise.

Junes has been in the same area for at least 40 years, always have had a pleasant experience when shopping there.

Not impressed. The place is dirty, with boxes upon boxes everywhere, and the produce section is FULL of moldy vegetables. I hate to leave such a terrible review because the lady who owns the place is as sweet as she can be, but honestly...the place is full of rotting food, and the whole front area is putrid. Stomach-turning, even. We wont be returning.

The store is dirty and cramped and the staff was very unhelpful. When we got home and unpacked our groceries, i discovered half the items were expired and the hoisin sauce was opened and used. Do not shop here🤮
