This was one of the few penske shops that actually cared about getting a live customer truck fixed. Plus finding the correct parts and getting them to location to do the job.

Becareful renting from these people. They will rent trucks in bad conditions. The first one I got from them had numerous Dot violations. Needles to say I was put out of service when inspected at weigh station on the 2nd day after I picked up the truck. Also they send you bills and Bs charges after the truck was returned.

The truck did its job after I had reconnect the lift gate wiring to the dash and tighten both mirrors (they moved just by driving). Lastly, the check engine light was always on.I did get to point B and back though.

I requested a truck with a ramp, but they tried to give me one with a lift. The agent said he would give a truck with a ramp, unfortunately they were out. The agent then gave me a bigger truck than I needed and told me no charge. I could not thank him enough!!! I will recommend them to everyone. Thank you so much!!!

Thank the Lord for penske! Every moving truck company had zero trucks for the weekend we needed. We got there and had to wait a bit for the truck to get there. They gave us a discount for the wait and the fact they didnt have the size we ordered which they had called ahead about. That was super nice of them. Then the truck was very nice! I would choose them over who we usually use just because of the quality of trucks!

Moving is never fun, but I cant say enough good about the guys who helped us at this store. Courteous, helpful, and encouraging. Helped us every step of the way in moving from Des Moines. Clean office; nice trucks; and helpful attitudes. A great resource that I hope i dont have to use again! (But if I do, Im headed to their shop!)

Five Stars ... Dont even try to talk me out of it. Just traveled 1600+ miles and dropped off the 26 truck and car transporter with Mr. Griffin Pils. Couldnt have gone any smoother. I called ahead to request a couple of more days as it took longer than expected to get to our destination. Mr. Pils was so kind when we got to this easy to get in and out drop off point. So grateful to Penske and their staff in FL and IA. Thanks for makin our move nearly effortless on the road.

Rented a truck with lift gate and when I went in to pick up they told me that the truck was in Ames and would not be ready for another 2 hours. Whats the point of renting out a truck if its not available ya know.

We rented from this place for 2weeks and would never do it again they added miles and bill u for a day that they had the truck in their hands just beware. Go to ryder they are cheaper.

Brought it in the guy taking the keys seemed a little irritated that I brought it in to have it fixed got it the next day nothing I asked them to fix was fixed except one running light that I didnt even mention so I guess you want to go someplace and not be listened to and we looked at like youre an inconvenience this is the place to be. You werent just comment Penske in Des Moines good luck.
