Theyre like family to me, I enjoy seeing you and Bart whenever I visit my grandparents.I love shopping for your atocha coins and the hematite rings, among other trinkets that make my room feel like a pirate ship.I hope you remember me, Im the one guy who bought that one unique treasure chest that had the shiny-shell look to its exterior and I was wearing either a solid green or solid turquoise short-sleeve t-shirt with either black jeans or brown cargo pants!I will be in touch!

Fun shop to visit. Quality gifts, souvenirs and home decor. The building has its very own interesting history. The first home built on the Harbor back in the early 30s. Worth visiting!

Oh my gosh...this place is fabulous. If you want some unique, different from the chain type shops, you need to visit Banana Barts. Beautiful views from the parking lot too for pictures. Hes been there 37 years!!!

One can readily tell Banana Barts is the last stand against the generic surf/gift shops. Without kids in tow, one could definitely spend hours here checking out the quirky stuff. My only wish would be to have a section of items that were made in the area. Too many of them were made elsewhere, eroding the local vibe.

So... The suvenier situation on the island is pretty dismal. Banana Barts remedies that. Honestly, the coolest shop in Destin. Cool shirts, cool jewelry, and cool wind chimes if you like that sort of thing... And my man working the register was cool too. Skip the lame places and go to Barts.

This place is totally awesome. I have been coming to Destin for years and today was my first time at Banana Barts. It has such an amazing amount of unique things to choose from. Best gift shop around! Barts has many interesting and unique items. T shirts, jewelry, hats, chimes, sun glasses, stickers, magnets, stuffed animals, nick knacks, and novelty items. Pleasant owner told me the history. The Big Yellow building was built in the 30s. The original owner traded a truck for the lot and she is the second owner. If youre looking for something no one else has, you might just find it at Banana Barts

By far my favorite shop to visit in the Destin area. So many cool and eclectic items to look at and buy. I mean everywhere you look is cool stuff, more cool stuff, and more cool stuff. If you have never been there before you really should stop by. There is something there that will appeal to everyone. Its hard to go in and not leave with a gift. SO MUCH FUN!

Quite a huge variety for such a small store... most Destin paraphernalia also says Banana Barts. Happy to pay a bit more to support a local small business! Also found some really cool variety items like secret boxes and coastal Christmas ornaments that both our kids and parents loved. Like I said: huge variety!

This place! Weve been stopping in here every December for years. Thousands of things to looks at. Unique room decor, clothing, bags, jewelry, candles.....you know....stuff!! This is a great place to buy nifty gifts! All jam packed into a small space makes for fun and whimsical visit.My favorite is all the unique jewelry pieces with stones and my husband generously lets me pick a special piece each year for Christmas before Christmas. 🙂The couple that owns and operates the place are friendly and we always learn something neat about Destin or the area if they have time to chat. Honestly, just GO and have fun browsing!

Found this little gem after wandering into many small gift businesses my first time in Destin a year ago. They had so many things to look through and the lady was as sweet as could be. I found the perfect souvenir picture frame and didnt hesitate to buy it.Hands down, better than a super chain besch souvenir store. I would recommend taking a look. Ill be back when Im back in the area.

My MOST favorite place to go when Im in Destin. They have so many unique, wonderful gifts and lots for yourself. Its really cool. The shop is a small wood frame house and each room is filled with different things. From hand made jewelry, shells, mugs, shot glasses, statues, glass things, clothes, purses, shoes, toys and so much more. If you like shopping for unique gifts you will LOVE this place.

Bart and his wife are nice people, and know a lot about the area. Go blow some vacation money and support a local classic!

Wish we would have gone here first. I met the female owner and she was super nice the items are unique and excellenty crafted.

Everything is incredibly over priced. Nothing I would consider souvenir worthy, not even mildly. The place reeks of incense, like it was concentrated and blown directly into your face. It makes it difficult to breathe. It is very difficult to get to, not a great sign or anything to designate its existence. Avoid if at all possible, not worth the time.
