This store was very busy. I found an associate when I couldnt find the item that I was looking for on the shelf. He was very helpful and found the item up in the overstock. It took a few minutes to find a fork lift operator to help retrieve the correct pallet. Once the pallet was down within reach, there were two of the item that I was seeking. By the way, the online inventory had said that there was only 1 in the store. After waiting a few moments, I was able to complete my purchase and be on my way. I considered this exceptional service. Thanks.

Stop to purchase a replacement bulb for the refrigerator. The shelf was empty, sales associate was extremely helpful. She found the bulb I needed, got a ladder to get them off the supply shelf. I didnt get her name, but she was extremely helpful. She mentioned she was taking a few days off. I hope she has a great vacation. Thank you, you are appreciated!

Despite being busy as most places are, I found exactly what I needed and was checked out in a decent amount of time. I originally placed an online order which I would only recommend if you have a few hours to spare. I canceled my online order when I saw how busy they were and went to the aisle to get the push brooms I came for. Certain times of the day are definitely gonna be more busy then others. Try shopping early and you wont be disappointed. As far as the staff, theyre just folks trying to get a check. Moms, cousins, fathers...just people who may or may not have acquired good customer service experience. So if you dont get that customer service youre looking for remember were going through some crazy times and peoples lives are pretty complex as it is. If youre reading this I hope something amazing happens for you today.

Do yourself a favor and go to a suburban location... Even if its for one thing. No such thing as a quick visit here. No self checkout, few & ride cashiers and the place is FILTHY! Id wear a mask & gloves in this place if covid didnt exist. Not worth the hassle!

Not understanding why they choose to do inventory in the middle of the day but most times have the aisles or a substantial number of isles are blocked with items unfortunately it seems that the staff does not have leadership on the floor or that leadership is overworked and understand because it seems a bit chaotic with piles of merchandise stacked in the hallways items listed as in stock not present I ironically it seems to be a pretty profitable store I believe but it seems to be the least supported by the corporate wing not nearly the same size as others nor offering the same amount of materials nor expertise or professionalism with the staff sometimes I wonder if these corporate big box companies do this as a way to frustrate Detroit consumers or to demonstrate how little regard they have for this major black City I actively avoid home Depot when I first heard that home Depot was coming to the city I was excited now I believe they should close and allow smaller more equipped more professional hardwares take over because as of now theyre under serving their consumer base

I was told the reason there was no 8ft baseboard was because shortage of wood and I had to cut 16ft myself. Other stores I go to have 8ft so I’m confused. Said something to customer next to me and he said oh yeah this is not the store to come to if you want it done right. Didn’t surprise me to hear that.

Ive come to this store location for years now. I have learned everything in the store I should be working here hahaha. Ive never had more than one or two maybe three reps or attendance to help me out. I guess its just the way the store ran. I know a lot of people dont enjoy it. But for the entrepreneur handyman he or she can make money maybe there should a store like this.

I ordered a washing machine and dryer on 7-10-21. The delivery was suppose to be on 7-27. It was a no show. Delivery was rescheduled for 8-14 and when they arrived they told me to come out to the truck to see if I still wanted the badly damaged washer and dryer combo. I refused it. Now its scheduled for 9-1 and I dont know if it will show up or even damaged. Its a shame when you spend almost $2,000 on a appliance and you wait months and still dont receive it. This is the third time abs I am very upset.

Clean and good service. But they dont automatically put cheese on the fajitas. The food was good though. Will definitely come back and order cheese next time.

I ordered indoor cameras and 2 battery charges, ring door Bell. They canceled the order for the cameras but not the 2 year warranty. 😡. Then they told me the southfield had them, so I ordered from there. I received a text saying it was canceled. This happened 4 times. I still have items that was ordered with that same order that I need to return. Because each time I ordered the cameras and paired for them it was canceled. CRAZY 😡😡😡😡 NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Home Depot was employees were great, in store services was great...Now delivery service SUCKED..After waiting over a month for new Refrigerator. They call a day before (June 3rd) and gave a time 11:30 to 4pm On a Friday on June 4th by 3pm. No show called, started calling at 3:45... kept say they coming (called 4, 5, 6pm) Then at 7pm call a Seevice Rep. and was told driver had a emergency and wanted us to wait for 2 more week to work us in for delivery get refrigerator.

They Always have plenty of cashiers especially if you go early👍. And The workers are very helpful

I came looking for coax cables/extensions. I was in the area but couldnt locate at first. I started to ask one of the ladies unboxing in the aisle. And her demeanor through the mask was enough for me. She seemed rather irritated that I even approached her. I was able to find what I needed...but I wont be returning to this location. The ladies here seem to be very annoyed for some reason. The cashier was nice and they had what I needed, so 3 stars.

I was in the market for three ceiling fans. I picked three but they were out of each one. I purchased a washer and dryer, though each item was priced a bit high. The salesperson there was friendly and professional. They get points for that. 😉

Ive had bad experiences with the Home Depot in Dearborn, so I decided to try this location. Its like night and day. The staff is eager to help, they informed me of a discount that Id specifically asked three others about at the other store, they helped me gather my products and load them. I was delighted with the experience.

Lady couldnt help at paint station because she might break a nail.

The security guard that was working the closing shift needs a customer service class. He doesnt know how to use a friendly tone when hes telling you something. He was very angry and argurmental about something as simple as telling us the self check out was closed. He was yelling like he was talking to a little kid. He made a scene and embarrassed us.

Stuff is everywhere and unorganized!! Cant really tell how much something is because its not in the right place. They dont have alot of flowers out right now, but plenty of dirt, mulch, fencing products, etc. Its saving grace are the staff. Everyone I talked to was very pleasant.

I needed a wet vac to vacuum the water logged rugs in the basement so I came to Home Depot and asked a helpful male worker passing by where to find a wet vac, he pointed me to the wet vacs displayed for $49.97 which was a Good price for a unexpected purchase that didnt blow my budget !! This location is ok However it would be way better if they hire more knowledgeable workers in the different departments. As well as hire more cashiers to check out. Customers should only have to wait no more than 5-10 mins to cash out at the registers.

The Home Depots in other areas are better kept and well managed.

Had a few questions about a remodel job for my bathroom. Found an employee, showed me where I needed to go to check some pricing. Was in and out in 30 minutes

The worse homedepot ever I have an order dated to be delivered on the 16th of this month and not delivered they said they dont have what ever to rip up the stuff and they said it will be deliver on the 21st and they didnt have no excuse to say and didnt delivered my stuff I called them they said it will be deliver on the 23rd man I hate it my order has been placed on the 13th of the month I hope someone will do something about this

Best Home Depot in Detroit because its the only Home Depot in Detroit. But for real, they are good on stocked items and could improve when it comes to customer service. Its a stressful atmosphere to work in so I appreciate everything that they do.
