Favorite local hardware store, very organized. I can always find what I need and be out within minutes, no long lines like depot.

Great local hardware store. They have a really good selection of Hardware merchandise.its like a big box store without all of the inconvenience of a big box store I dont have to drive too far out of my way at all and I can find what Im looking for, one of the inconveniences of the big-box stores is to have workers act as if its a chore to help you find something.Not so here at this hardware store Friendly staff eager to help out.I need a brass connectors for a gas dryer they had them, when I went to The Big Box store they didnt have the ones I needed they were all out so I had to go to another one when I found this. I was really relieved as it is only one and a half miles from where I work

I seen a 9 year old kid working and helping customers while he didn’t know what he was doing, this is very unprofessional to let a child on the floor while customers are looking for average service!

Good selection, convenient, moderate pricing, good customer service. Could open a little earlier than 9am though.

Great place for plumbers, they always have the things you need for plumbing!

The place so organized and the workers are always trying to help plus I love the good rewards card it gives you points so you can get items for free the place haves everything you need!

Online hours says it closes 6 and I rushed there and got there at 5:38 and they were closed.

Please dont have a family member (thats like 15-17) working behind a counter if he doesnt know what hes doing...fyi

Right around the corner from my house, so super convenient. Everyone who works there knows where everything is, so you dont have to search for the one person who knows the store. 95% of the time I walk out with what I need, and if I order something it comes in a week. Before AAA came to the neighborhood I had to drive up to Nine Mile for my hardware or (horrors!) Home Depot. A huge boon the the University District.

My go to hardware store! So much less stressful than Home Depot etc. I go here for home supplies and science project supplies for my students(middle school science and engineering teacher) I am never disappointed. The sales people and managers are always very welcoming and helpful. They always have everything I need. Prices are pretty comparable to other stores. If I do see a slightly higher price I honestly dont mind because of the convenience and customer service.

Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Came back to pay almost $400 for window repairs and was treated so poorly. Unorganized staff had me running from each end of the store carrying my child just to bring the ticket to the front. Terrible customer service, wouldn’t recommend

Replace glass and storm glass frames.

I was trying to do right and buy in Detroit. But, in addition to the fact that they are expensive, their customer service is poor. I really dont like spending money in a place where they POINT to where something is because they are too busy to help a customer. Not too mention, they were about to wait on some loud man when I had been standing, waiting for service. Wont be back.

Staff is poorly trained. Shelves are half empty. Its close and local but I wont go back. Not the store the previous owner had.

Overpriced ripoff.

Clean and organized store managed by wonderful and knowledgeable staff! Never thought a small hardware store stock so much merchandise and provide so many services that clearly competes with larger hardware depots. Love the collection and the prices and certainly appreciate the excellent customer service I received.

I was impressed by how warmly I was greeted when I stopped at the Livernois store. The salesperson who waited on me was extremely helpful. Such personalized service is rare. This hardware store typically has what I need. May not be as cheap as home depot but my time is valuable and its close proximity to my house more than makes up for any price differential.
