I was at Best Buy in Dothan, Alabama today and am very happy I got to meet Jason K. because he gave me FIVE STAR customer service! Jason went above and beyond and found the perfect All-in-One computer for me. He was super friendly and highly educated on the many types of hardware on the market today. It is nice to see such a great attitude, especially these days when nobody wants to work. If I was Jason’s boss, I would give him a raise because it is too difficult to replace an employee like Jason! Best Buy better take care of Jason or simply put… they will lose money.

It’s a decent place to get electronics and their accessories. Very good place to buy unlocked android phones. I’m somewhat knowledgeable on the subject and the employee who rang me up informed me on that particular batch of phone and a common sudden issue they were having. I found that information very helpful and got my new phone working with no issue. Prices are a tiny bit high though. You gotta know where to find the deals or you’ll easily end up spending way more than you’d like.

Employee had absolutely no knowledge of what she was doing. Had called previously looking specifically for an electric down draft range. Was told they had 2 in stock. Within an hour I went to the store. The girl in the appliance section had absolutely no idea what a downdraft range is. Tried to show me a dishwasher. Eventually I able to speak with another employee who proceeds to tell me that they do not carry electric downdraft only gas downdraft ranges. Seriously doubt I will return to that particular store.

I bought a Laptop online and had it shipped to this location. The night before i was to pick up my laptop, It says my card isnt authorized to purchase this item. i did confirm it with my bank. I called Best Buy Support and told me they ran out of my laptop which is why i didnt receive my product.. Neverminded the fact they canceled my order because of my card security. So which is it? Are you masking the issue on my end to cover yours? If so, thats terrible business. Best part about the entire process Is i have had over a thousand dollars sitting in a void waiting for your company to give me back a refund (2 weeks). I want to start my school with a new laptop and your objective must be to prevent this from happening. Do not recommend for any type of product.

The hiring process is a bit ridiculous. They say you have to have all these qualities and that you won’t get full time because that’s only for internal employees. The manager is nice but I felt very misled with the process from being contacted to do a virtual interview. From the review of the employees and how Unprofessional and lacking they are doesn’t make sense as to why they are so strict on who they hire.

Bought an $1800 computer in Dothan and it had a cracked screen. I brought it back within the time allowed and was told that once I take it home it is mine. I called customer service twice and they told me both times that I was entitled to an exchange per company policy. They still would not exchange it. Kerry, store manager, then threatened to call the police and that he was done talking. BustBuy corporate apologized to me and sent me a shipping label to return it so that they will refund me. First time in my life anyone has told me they would call the police on me if I do not leave the store. Very embarrassing. Filed a complaint with corporate.

Associates do not understand what give the customer some space is. Not just one but five different associates were practically taking turns at breathing down my neck the entire few minutes I was there. making it impossible to decide which wireless mouse to purchase. As result I left and went to another store they did not get my business today or anymore business from me in the future.

That store was very super friendly especially a worker name Tyler. While my husband and I was looking for a right gaming pc for me and him Tyler came to us with a friendly greet, gave us a nice advice and he was very on the roll. I recommend Tyler next time I shop there lol. The other workers were extremely friendly too on how they welcome people to the store and you cant help but feel at home

Good experience overall. The only drawback in that this location is a tad small, but there isnt really anything the employees can do about that. The staff was very helpful as we looked for a charger and even sought out info for us regarding the special kind of wattage we needed. We will definately be back if we find ourselves in need of another electronic in or near Dothan.

Staff was very friendly, but not overly pesky (like some stores can be with asking if you need assistance every 5 minutes). They seemed to be following proper health recommendations by wearing masks and encouraging distancing. Hand sanitizer was placed around the store for use as well as the entrance.

You will have better luck online. They were too busy checking for masks and unpacking boxes for people instead of actually being in their own departments to help people. Waited for 15 minutes for someone to come help me before I gave up and left. Then there was a cluster of employees just talking around the exit, not doing anything.

I will never buy anything from Best Buy again!! No one greeted me as I walked in and the employees acted like I was invisible. The store was a wreck and the bathrooms were gross!! One of the employees was coughing and looked very sickly. I suggest no one go into this store if they value their humanity.. Good riddance Best Buy!!!

Went to best buy first went to the geek squad which was total total waste of time. The two look at my iPad and said I dont know what wrong with it. He didnt do any when I said he did nothing I mean nothing. We ask about a battery he said he did not know. Ok next ask another rep about a 5 disc cd changer and he took us to a small boom box after we describe what we were looking for then there he goes on his phone looking up something to no avail . But he did show where the cable for a u s b and check us out. We then went to a little shop that repair phones texted the iPad and said it needed a battery problem since. So to end this we will not go to best buy again.

I just opened a TV from BB I bought as a gift 3 months ago. It was shipped and of course it was broken in several places. Cant return it of course. NEVER BUY A TV AND HAVE IT SHIPPED until retailers find a bomb proof method of packing. I can easily pack a TV whose screen would survive a drop from 10 feet. I dont see why retailers cant prepare one for the cut-rate parcel service they use.I would NEVER consider buying another online unless I was picking it up at the store - and THEN I would open it and inspect it before I left the parking lot.I certainly should have torn the box apart to inspect it when I received it but as I said, it was a gift. I am taking one stars for shipping a $300+ TV in a flimsy box like that and one for the sub-standard parcel service you use.

All the employees flat out told my husband they werent on the clock when he asked for help. Not only that but a store manager ended up screaming at an individual that came inside the store without a mask on after the customer stated that he had a health condition that prevented him from being able to wear a mask the customer was extremely polite to the manager but the manger insisted on screaming at the individual say he was going to call the cops. After that entire event staff was still rude and disrespectful to my husband and we ended up just walking out. Im not quiet sure when disrespectful became a proper form of communication from employees in big corporate store.

Limited items on the shelves. Most things that I wanted had to be ordered 😕 demanded that I wore a face mask only after I searched for 15 mins, gathered my items, and was already at the register, Then treated me like a leper. I find this to be very disturbing. Would not recommend this brick and mortar best buy. Go ahead and just order your items online or from some other store entirely!

Recently I went to our BEST BUY store here in Dothan, AL., along with my adult son from Tampa. He was with me to look at earbuds! I have been considering making this purchase for some time; but being a senior, I had no idea what to look for! Upon entering BEST BUY, the Sales Supervisor, Jeff Norton, greeted us and offered to take us to the location in the store where we could look at earbud options. I want to truly thank Mr. Norton, for his kindness to us and for his knowledge of each brand!! He told my son and me the features of each brand, and helped me to make an educated decision as to which type would be best for me! I chose, and bought, the JABRA GN ELITE 74t brand. I am extremely pleased with my selection. Most of all, I would be extremely pleased if the BEST BUY company would commend Jeff Norton for his outstanding customer service to me, for his knowledge of product, his friendliness and kindness.....all outstanding! I definitely will be returning and look forward to seeing Mr. Norton again!

I was pretty pleased till I had to take my mothers tv to be replaced. They never called me like instructed. They called my mothers phone which was not working like I told them. They called me finally to tell me she was almost out of time to get her gift card with the return money on it since they will not give you cash back. I ordered her a tv online come in broke. They had hardly any tvs to choose from. My mother had been without a tv for a month or more. It was going to take 2 weeks to reorder another one. I had to get her a vizio. Then it was a run around cause I paid the difference of the one I ordered on my debit card. If you want to pay cash for a tv I do not recommend this store.

Went in to buy a computer. No one greeted us other than to ask if we needed a mask. We said no thank you and continued on. No one ever greeted us or spoke with us. The store was devoid of customers, other than us, and 2-3 others. Shelves around the computers were sparse. My spouse asked if they had a computer we wanted to get, was in stock. My spouse was about about 8 feet away.The blonde-headed girl stepped further back, and said I will not speak to you unless you have a mask on. My spouse asked if she stepped an additional 5 feet back, if we could talk about purchasing a computer. The girl stated We will not speak to you or sell you anything without a mask on. My significant other said, Well I guess will buy a PC online then and we all walked out. Again, without any interactions with any staff, other than the unpleasant encounter by the mask STASI. Its too bad too, because theyll all be without jobs within 2-5 years because of all this. People like this are celebrating their own countrys destruction over something that has a 99.87% survivability rate. I have not encountered anyone or anything like this in Dothan or anywhere else in Alabama. How can people not see that this is destroying EVERYONEs lives?!Yes, my family, neighbors and others have had the virus, and it was like a weak flu. But we dont shut down the world for the flu, nor wear masks that cause long-term ill effects including bacterial pneumonia, and possibly lung cancer in the long term also. This is what killed people during the Spanish Flu. It is not natural, nor healthy to constantly wear a mask, and breath warm air depleted of oxygen with an increase in carbon dioxide. We have an immune system for a reason. It needs practice! I know this is a rating about Best Buy, but I beg anyone reading this to stop and think about this for a minute! Dont allow this to happen to yourself, your family, your country, and your inalienable rights as a human being! Some rights are neither confirmed nor denied by any government. Even you Best Buy, dont continue on this path or only Amazon, Walmart, and a handful of other mega-corporations will exist in the very near future and control everything!This isnt a left or right thing, this is about truth versus distorted reality. If we dont stop this now, we are NEVER getting out of this. It started out as 2 weeks, so we went along. Then it was a month, and we continued to go along, then as the months passed by and turned into a new year, here we are. With no end in sight. You have the power to say no. If you want to wear a mask, fine. But I, and many others have the right to say no and live our lives with a freedom and dignity that we so desire. You can get rid of us, but eventually you will have outlived your usefulness too, and they will come for you. The only difference is no one else will be left around to stand up for you.

I was in this store today had a 50 inc 55 inc Vizio I was about to purchase.A female by the name of Alyssa was very much rude and refused to check me out. I just now called the store and the store manager Nichol was also very much rude. Trying to tell me something she knows nothing of. I feel sorry for their husbands if they are this way at home if a man would even have such. But I would advise anyone to stay clear from this place. And just a note as well if you buy anything from them, get it home and in anyway it is damaged or if it cannot fit into your vehicle they it is still yours. Not their problem.... Id rather go to Walmart where you can at least get customer service.

The que system hurts itself when people just needing to get an item (unlocked phone) and check out have to wait for extended times. Not a huge biggie just an observation that you can get rid of quick serve customers faster. But the staff was helpful and friendly!
