This beauty store is huge with a wide selection. They got everything you need in there and more. The girl at the register was very nice friendly and helpful when I asked about hair coloring. The lady that helped me with finding some good hair was also nice and helpful. They literally have everything I need so I’ll be coming back.

Bugs, Bugs and Bad customer satisfacfion/loyalty!!!My experience with the owner Hannah and staff member Sue were unfortunately a memorable experience that was distasteful. My visit to Venus ended with multiple purchases of beauty products along with wigs. I spent hundreds of dollars and left happy with my purchases. However, once I got home not only did I have the incorrect wigs in the box, there were bugs in the hair pieces I purchased!Immediately I returned to Venus with hair purchases and my receipt less than days later to only be told by Hanna (the store manager) that it was final sale. With every policy, your customers have to be included and taken into consideration. Its disappointing that I could spend my hard earned money to receive trash and no one staff member cared enough to resolve an issue. I have visited Venus and have referred many of their recurring customers but will be taking my business elsewhere, along with their customers. I will continue to post daily so others are made aware.

Great store Great Variety of beauty products. They are notorious for selling expired lotions. Check before you purchase and keep your reciept. Ive caught them twice before. Recently came across lotion that expired in 2017! Again, tons of Variety for both men and women. I still shop there.

I normally dont write reviews but today I was totally disrespected. I called in the Store since I needed to get a couple of products with them and informed them that I couldnt wear a mask due to Medical Conditions. I was informed that I have to wear it. I asked for the manager (Jessica Han) name give to me by her, and as I started explaining my medical conditions and she started arguing with me and stated that everyone has to wear a mask. I mentioned that I wouldnt be able otherwise I could fall ill and she started saying that if I were to show up without a mask she would call the police on me. She told that 3 times and then she said that she would allow me to get in the store ONLY if I were to provide a doctors letter. She also told me to get a family member to come and get my products and I told her they are all in South America. She also said she would not argue with me, which she already did it and hung up on me. I called back and I asked for the manager and she said there was nobody available to talk to me. I mentioned that I called their corporate office and I left a message with their Human Resource Department and I am expecting a phone call from them ASAP. The young lady on the phone as well informed me that they were closing (7:50pm) the store and I told her that their store closes at 8:30pm. She told me that I was not correct. She stated she would not argue with me an hung up the phone on me. What an experience. I will be following up with their corporate until someone gets a hold of Ms. Jessica Han. (I would star them 0 but that option does not exist)

Me and my daughter came in here today and was deeply disrespected. My daughter is two and had a temper tantrum. First they stared at us, rolling their eyes and then told me to calm her down because of other customers. Ive bought from this store since they opened but never again. Before this even happened Ive witnessed them accusing people of stealing and giving awful customer service. Ill never come back here again! If youre smart go to a different one or better yet order from Amazon. I hope and pray they go out of business because they dont deserve to have a store.

Yes they are rude. They are getting more arrogant. Ladies if you are buying a wig, you cant try it even with a cap. You cant touch or feel the wig either. And someone will be tailing you round the store as if you are there to steal. Please stop patronizing them. They need to change their attitude.

I agree with all the other reviews here. They are so rude here. My mom and I came in to grab a few things and we had a bag of trash from Chick-fil-A with us looking to throw it away. There was so garbage can outside so I brought it inside. I was rudely dismissed by 2 employees before one told me I couldn’t throw my trash away inside because “they don’t allow food to be thrown away in the trash up front” and just looked at me and offered me no other solution. So I walked around the store with trash in my hand the entire time. This has to be the rudest beauty supply I’ve been too. They don’t know what customer service is and believe they are better than you. My grandma and mom have had problems with them in the wig department being rude and uppity. Honestly there are wayyyy better and nicer Beauty supply stores out there. Spend your money somewhere else.

I read SEVERAL reviews about the rude customer service before deciding to give this business a try. I was greeted as I walked in, & I wasnt followed. When I asked for help, I was treated kindly. EVERYTHING was going well until I got to the cashier. She was rude, & EXTREMELY nonchalant. Due to this, they only get three stars. Their inventory was AMAZING & the staff was friendly while browsing the store. I will DEFINITELY return! Ill also pray for the cashier...

Its not high-end but they have an impressive range of fashion accessories that you should check out - scarves, hats, shoes, leggings, hair clips & more . I found fashionable gloves needed for a special occasion. Also purchased ATLANTA hats as souvenirs for visitors.

They make you feel like you stealing, I brought them up a package 📦 of eye lash that was empty, the siren went off...lol

Will never shop here again!! They accused my sister of stealing after she touched a product off the shelf and put it back while one of the staff was walking by. They check their cameras and still accused her of stealing, then when I pulled out her pockets and opened her bag to show nothing was stolen, one woman continued to say she stole while the others apologized. For this reason I suggest that you don’t spend your money here, especially if you are a black woman.

Don’t go to this place. They don’t are so rude and if you purchase anything and even if the receipt said you can return or exchange they won’t do it . They will come up with 1000 excuses that doesn’t make any sense. And will throw you out of the door. I have purchase from them and don’t even get out of the store when I realize I got the wrong idem when I ask for exchange they told me they couldn’t. When I show the receipt saying I have 7 days to return and exchange they told me that is been more than 7 days and star arguing with me. I said I just purchase about 5 minutes ago I don’t even leave store . They start to scream at me .

I went in to look for a wig for my mom who’s going through Chemo. I was describing the wigs to my mom on the phone then decided to take a picture. I was quickly yelled at by one of the ladies working there and was told not to do that and I asked why and was then yelled at again non stop. I told the lady that the attitude and yelling was unnecessary but she could not care less. I bit my tongue and asked her if they had a website or a way my mom could view their selections —the lady ignored me and walked away yelling in a different language. I will not ever step foot into this store and I hope future readers/shoppers follow suit. There are better places, kinder people, and better prices elsewhere.

I dont normally write reviews but i think people should know that if you go here and dont have on a mask, they will refuse your service!! Came in to by some braiding hair was asked to wear a mask. Once i told her that i didnt have one she didnt offer me one and said that she had a right to refuse service. I told her that she had no right to make anyone put on a mask, left the products there and told her to have a good day.

This store has variety of products but the need to train their employees for a better customer service. I just called the store and the lady on the fine wont even let me ask her exactly what I needed and was asking me the company that made the triple Senegalese twist braids that I was looking for. I dont freaking care about the company that made the hair but just check in the computer if you have the twist that I wanted..simple...she told me that if she does not know it it means the dont have it.Very poor customer service. No friendly at all...

This store has NO RESPECT for merchants. Ive been there several times and they are the same unprofessional, unfriendly shrewd store. I witnessed a woman asking the to allow her 4 year old daughter to use the bathroom b/c clearly she was in full pee pee dance and older man kept repeating in rude tone no public bathroom. The woman asked was shocked that there was no public RRThat was the day I decided never to spend my hard earned money there again. I sometimes just stop by b/c is in route to see whats new then go to Beauty Maters in Gwinnett Mall to see if they have it or order online.

Be safe everyone ! I asked to try on a certain wig, and the wig attendant almost placed a wig on my head that had a deer tick on it. Be safe ladies they might have a tick infestation ! I was prepared to be profiled and followed around the store, after reading other reviews elsewhere. However, they were busy unpacking etc., and actually greeted us nicely, as we entered. The ovation is not the best and the store itself is a bit crowded. Also some items and prices are hard to find, but an overall decent experience.

This is my go to beauty supply store. Very large selection of products. Customer Service is not bad, just usually non existent. They leave you alone. Ive never had any issues exchanging items, most hair places do not allow returns anyway. Their prices are okay.

Theres a very wide selection of various products. Unless you know their placement plan, it can be difficult to find specific items. There isnt always someone around to assist.

Its the place to go if your black and in need of hair supply. It has everything you need plus more and you will alway leave with more than you expected. My biggest problem is that they are taxing so hard on some of their products. Like one of my favorite conditioner at the store is about 8 dollars, but I can go to the Walmart closest to my house and get the same exact one for 3 dollars. The only reason I dont go to Walmart instead is that its 20 min away from my house and the traffic going there is ridiculous since I have to get on a highway to get there. Venus is close to me church and right next to a Kroger, so I can just pop in there after I do my weekly grocery shopping after church,

I love this beauty supply store! I love all the products that they carry including the wigs! The prices are a little overpriced and the staff is funny acting at times, following you sround the store. Once they see you as a regular that slows down.. At times they are very friendly I just wish they didnt treat everyone as if they are criminals coming to steal while we shop. Other than that its a one stop shop for me... I can get all my beauty supply needs in one store, and THAT I love!

This place used to be friendly but the man at the counter looks/ acts like a mannequin, just stands there staring, no greeting looks at you like why did you come in. I inquired about weave hair, had to walk across the room to ask her for help and she didnt want to help at all. After a few words she walked off. Do you people realize customers are YOUR LIVELIHOOD! If we dont shop in your store, YOU make no money!!! I can find product elsewhere!

I will NEVER go to the location again! They tried to accuse me of stealing. I stayed in there for 20 mins looking for jewelry and before I left they asked me where did I put the earrings I had picked up when I walked in the store. I didnt put them back where I got them from so I searched the store and found them. Once I found them they told me NO those are not the earrings and proceeded to tell me that I walked around the store too much. Duh, I was looking for what I needed. At that point they began to look and search the cameras and begging me not to leave. I bought the jewelry I had in my hand so why would I steal. Had I thought about it I would have put the jewelry back and Patronized another business. They will never get another dime from me.

Very big store with a lot of selection. Its kind of your typical beauty supply store, just much larger. The prices are fair and the staff is not overbearing on customers like some shops can be. ETA: They have a no pictures policy, so be warned if you try to snap a photo of anything inside the store, even if youre trying to scan a QR code for product info (like I did one time and got reprimanded).

Im from NC and after reading the reviews before I went in the store, I was expecting rude customer service as was stated in alot of the reviews . My experience was great .I dont wear weave at all and only needed weave for my upcoming wedding. I have no clue about weave and the sales associate was very patient and helpful and also gave me discount because I traveled from NC.

I would like the staff to be more respectful, I was given a hard time when I didnt show my ID for a charge and was told that people steal cards and shop there, but the women in front of me was not asked to show ID. ( I guess I was dressed to causal to afford $80.00 bucks of beauty products). The only people that shop there are black women so I was not happy and will not be going back. Very disapponted in how I and other black women can be assumed thieves but we spend our money in places that wont respect us as a vaulable customer and human.

Credit card scams I believe. Signed for a receipt for $5 more than the price of the total of all my items and way different than the price the cashier quoted. But she gave me the receipt with the correct price. How shady and it doesnt make any sense. Will not be visiting anymore. Please pay attention to what you sign. Thankfully I looked.

Rude, place that simply wants money. Now I go out of my way to another place in order to not shop there after recent run ins with their poor customer service. Honest&true: this beauty supply store is pretty large. It has a wide variety of items. Most popular hair products are a bit pricey compare to other beauty supply stores Ive been to. The main reason for 3stars is the price of some items, store is again pretty big but you cant find anyone to help you. When I walked in the manager had all the floor associates at lunch at the same time. Why? Anyway, so she was the only one that was available but she was running the register. Said she would be right with me but she never helped cause she couldnt come from behind the register. And she wasnt able to answer any of my questions because the area I needed help in the associates to help with that were all at lunch.

They are good but need to sell real professional products like Label M perfume and diamond dust shampoo. They also need to hire someone who speaks better English to assist customers with finishing products or substitute products!

This is my go to beauty store. I live really close and they have everything even some not so common items. I have never had an issue with customer service here. They speak everytime I walk in and no one has ever followed me or made me feel unwelcome. The prices are average.

Staff is very rude & they are not knowledgeable at all! I asked one of the ladies at the checkout about a product & her response was:I have no idea & kept ringing up my items. Also they are horrible about accepting returns or exchanges! For hair products I suggest Amazon, Ulta, Sallys, Target or a Walmart..at least u can return to those stores if the product doesnt work. These type ( beauty supply) store will continue to exhibit this type behavior if we continue to patronize them!

This beauty supply store recently treated me as if I was stealing. (Which I was not) I spend a good amount of money in this store, since it was very convenient to my office. I have shared my experience with others in the area as well as at my company. You cannot cater to a specific ethnic group and then think you can mistreat them based on your own ignorant bigotry and stereotypes.
