I needed to replace my key fob battery and had previously purchased the lifetime battery warranty. I went in and my battery was replaced quickly. At no charge today, that warranty was well worth the couple of extra dollars I spent on it the last time I replaced my key fob battery. Thank you!

I went to this location to purchase a battery. Im a repeat customer. I arrived at opening hours and no one was there. Door locked. I was told by another location that the opener was running late. The opener finally appeared at least an hour late looking like he was hung over as his face was sweaty and oily. Hair greasy. This location didnt actually open until 10am. And he had a grumpy attitude which made the experience much worse. I doubt if this guy lasts very long.. I wont return again. Customer service is everything. Opening really late and with a bad attitude.

Customer service was bad. Waited in line 10 minutes with three other customers before anyone came to the cashier desk. Was there to recycle fluorescent tubes. Found out they charge $1 per foot to recycle.

IPhone 8 repair: I called BestBuy, explained the phone I had and the screen needed to be replaced. I was quoted the price but told them I’d have to schedule a time later to ensure what day I’d be free the following week. Made my appointment online and included a note specifying the phone is an iPhone 8 and needed a new screen. I got a call the day of the appointment stating the tech who could do the repair would be there the next day so they rescheduled me. Next day, I leave my job, in the middle of our daily rush while being one persons short, to arrive to BestBuy and be informed they no longer service iPhone 8’s. What. The. Yeah…So, my wife reminds me there’s a Batteries Plus on Pleasant Hill. I’m irritated from BestBuy having every opportunity to not waste my time on top of really needing to go back to work. I walk in, Candy is who helps me. I know she can see I’m not in the best mood. She was polite, listened to what was needed, got me out the store quick. Came back after work, the phone was ready as promise, works, and screen protector put on straighter than any mall kiosk ever.Candy was the rockstar of the day and helped alleviate one huge stress I had. Thanks!

Brought my perfectly working iPhone in for a battery replacement as the maximum battery health capacity was at 64%. The woman tried two new batteries and neither worked. She refunded my money and put the original battery back in and now suddenly that doesn’t work either. The manager (Clay)told me it was a software problem with the phone (there was no problem before she worked on it) and there is nothing he could do and sent me on my way. Now I have no phone and will have to pay a few hundred dollars to get it repaired. Which i can’t afford right now. Plus, now I am unable to work. An Uber driver can’t work without a phone. In short, she broke my phone! Neither employee apologized for the issue or inconvenience and showed absolutely zero remorse. They both displayed very cold and matter of fact attitudes concerning the issue. Especially the woman who worked on it. If you bring a working phone into the store for service, you should walk out with a working phone! A Reputable establishment would make things right. I will most definitely be following up with franchise ownership and corporate! I would give zero stars if I could.UPDATE: This morning I returned to the store to further discuss my phone issue. Clay the store manager had me leave the phone in the store so he could try to fix the issue. Several hours later he called me and advised me of an issue with the phone that he overlooked. He apologized and informed me that he ordered a replacement phone and it will be delivered next week. Thank you Mr. Clay. My faith in you and your store has been restored. This is how customer service should work. Kudos! I apologize for the hasty initial review. I should have discussed it with you further before hand.

This place deserve a 0 star. I took my Seiko watch here to change out the battery. It took them almost an hour! Then they told me that my watch is solar powered and there isn’t a battery in it. After a while, my watch isn’t working again and I took it to another store and they opened it up told me that even though the watch is solar powered, there is a battery in it and that it appeared as if someone broke the part of the watch that holds the battery and tried to glue the broken part and the battery back on. This is so unethical of Batteries Plus!

Imagine going to a place where youre looking for help, youre asking a question for clarity and not only does the store associate Ari (A-R-I according to her), but the store manager Clay both catch an attitude and STILL not give you the clarity you are needing. Imagine going to one location and getting the battery for my car key replaced for free because you have a life time warranty, then going to this location and being told you have to choose between paying $11.99 or $19.99 to get ANOTHER warranty that you already had!! Imagine simply wanting to know how to prove at ANY Batteries Plus location that you have a life time warranty so you do not have to keep paying $19.99 for something you have already paid for and not be given an answer. Imagine people working in a customer service role, who SHOULD know the value of a dollar, not have ANY regard for their customers wallet as the company they work for, who offers the warranty to save those same customers money. Why work in customer service if you are not there to help? Self reflect... you all caught an attitude and was rude to a person who NEEDED HELP. Shame on you.

This place always has the batteries I need. With the lifetime warranty that they offer, Ill never have to pay for a replacement battery to go in my car remote again. Such a good deal. They also change the old batteries for you so that whole process could not be any easier than just finding the time to stop by the store.

I needed a certain T5 light bulb and they did not have it or offer to get this itemI needed 200 bulbs. The store is suppose to open at 9 am and it did not open until 10:30 or so. The clerk could have cared less !! I will never set foot in this store again or buy online from them as well. You have no zero rating or I would have selected this!!!

With big stores limiting their stock of so many things, having this place dedicated to what they do is a good thing. Wish they had more 18650 selection, but everything else they are great for. Led bulbs, flash lights, and the 12v battery bricks for UPSs and alarm backup battery stuff.

I bought a high-quality car battery with the 3-year free replacement warranty online. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and my experience at Batteries+Bulbs on Pleasant Hill Road in Duluth, Ga. The store attendant was alone in the store and there were several customers ahead of me. She was very pleasant and professional. I was hoping to have the battery installed for me, but the installation person was not expected until later in the day. I just did it myself, which took less than ten minutes. I had also found a near-equivalent battery at a lower cost nearby, but I chose B+B over them for their free installation service. The next time I replace my battery - hopefully, far into the future - I will call ahead to make sure the installer is present when I come.

Yesterday I was very upset to learn that lithium batteries are rechargeable. 3 days ago I went to store#110 with my Nikon camera that was not turning on. I thought I needed a new battery. I gave the Nikon lithium battery (as written on it) to the clerk, she took it, looked at the item number and told me it was in stock. she said that if I ordered online I can get 10%off. So I did. She never asked why I thought I needed a new battery. The next day I go back with my camera to pick up my order. I was having a hard time putting the new battery in so the clerk to the camera, and loaded the new battery. I asked if they recycled old ones. He said yes. At no time did he asked if I wanted to keep it. That night I found the battery charger. That is when I became very perturbed. Why did neither of the clerks who had handled my battery mentioned that lithium batteries are rechargeable. I could have avoided to spend $35. Customers are not experts in batteries and that is why we come to the experts. These 2 failed me. So I went back at opening time the next day to try to retrieve my original nikon battery but it had already been shipped to be recycled. So upsetting!

The online shopping experience was fine. Picking up my purchase from the store was less than ideal. It took nearly 30 min. to complete the order, the sales team seemed confused as to if my order was pulled and who did it. The new employee kept making mistakes and the other employee wasnt offering up much help. If I do decide to use Batteries Plus again it certainly will not be this store.

I place an order at this store for a screen on my galaxy note. About a month ago. Had to keep calling for an update, I called twice and everyone was in the twilight zone until finally the manager clay spoke with me and pretended that he had it under control, had to call again after manager told me he was going to call me back, they did the same as before no phone call, I call back today and he told me he cant get the screen and he just found out about last night and he was about to call. I hate giving bad reviews I love good reviews for good service.

BPB had a problem replacing the battery on my iPhone 5. Instead of casting me off, they provided a replacement iPhone 5s at the cost of the repair. Staff was great at working thru the problem. Kudos to the staff at the Pleasant Hill Rd Duluth Georgia store.

Do not bring a Honda car fob here for a battery. I noticed the key was wiggly after a few days. I assumed Mary had not tightened the screw or the battery didn’t fit properly. Mary said because I didn’t inform her immediately she was not responsible for the key wiggling. I told her the sides were never closed tightly to begin with. She responded it was not her problem since I didn’t tell her before walking out of the store. So learn from my mistake, please don’t bring your Honda car fob to this Batteries Plus

I went to the Duluth location to get two batteries for my key fob. The cashier grabbed the battery I needed which was a double pack for $8.99.The cashier tells me hes going to put the battery in to make sure it works. I asked why wouldnt the battery work? He said he just wanted to make sure and if it didnt work then I wont have to pay for it.He goes outside and hits the door lock on the remote and it works. I told him I have two keys.Walking back in the store he says if you pay in cash I can give you my discount. I replied I only have a card. He says if you can pay for one in cash you can use my discount. I thought that was strange but I replied again I only have a card.He rings me up and says my total is $33 and some change I said WHAT the batterys were $8.99 he said I know but I installed them and I told him I didnt ask you to you said you put the battery in to make sure it works. I then said you what give me one and I will go somewhere else. My car had already not started because the battery went dead so I really needed the battery. After I said I will go somewhere else he says hold on and he starts playing around with the register numbers. He says your total is $21 is that better I caught on to what he was doing which was being shady. I said fine and paid.I called the store the next morning and told Clay the assistant store manager what happened . He told me to send the receipt which I did by email. The cashier did not ring me up for batteries he rang me up for two installs for $9.99 . He assured me he was going to handle the issue and that paying $33 was not normal charge for key fob install. Especially when I did not ask him to do something I could have easily done myself.Clay asked when can I come to the store to get my $10 back. I said I can come mostly likely today after 5. I get to the store and while Im parking the shady cashier is walking out into the parking lot and ask me was I going into the store and he said something about a phone. I said no I came to see Clay and he told me Clay was not there.I thought it was pretty strange for Clay to know I was coming in today after 5pm to meet with him and have the same employee I have a issue with there. I felt like maybe it was so he can confront the employee while i was there which would have been awkward. He had my statement by email and over the phone plus a copy of my receipt.the cashier was all smiles while walking onto the parking lot like everything was all good.Im thinking the guy was suspended or something for doing shady stuff by asking me to pay cash to get his discount. Then overcharge me. It takes 10 seconds to put a battery in a key fob and you want to be slick and charge me $9.99 for each key play $8.99 for the battery.Anyhow I get to the store and Clay is not there. I wasted my time at this store spending gas and time to head to Duluth when I stay in a different city.This place is shady and the cashier is obviously asking for cash to get his discount so he can steal money.A blind man can see that. And that is very uncomfortable for him to ask that.Clearly there was nothing done to he cashier because he is still there. Overcharging customers and stealing from the register.I will make a formal complaint with the corporate office.Stay away from this location.

The store sales person sold me a used battery! Very disappointed, I called ahead to ask if they have the battery I’m looking for. So I give her the battery number and she told me they have one in stock. Then I run down to the store an hour later to pick it up. The battery were not in it’s original pack, but it didn’t come across my mind anything had wrong with it. When I installed the battery later at night it tell me the battery is low. Very unprofessional!

Terrible experience! I went to this location to get a key cut for a car. I brought both the original key and the new key. All I needed was for them to copy the key and transfer the key fob into the new key. After waiting 45 minutes and trying the key 2 times the key would not turn. Instead of the employee just telling me they had messed up the key while trying to cut it, they try to tell me the rf chip is in the medal of the key ( completely wrong) then they tried to tell me it had something to do with the metal of the key I brought in and the lead content. C’mon when you look at the keys clearly it doesn’t match the original you cut it wrong. Just own it! I took the key to a lock smith and he cut the key in less than 5 minutes. New key works great. If you don’t know what you are doing just say that. Don’t waist my time and destroy my key.
