I found this dealership online through various car sites. They appear to be similar to a Carmax with multiple locations. Their pictures showed decent cars at okay prices (considering the wacky price cycle currently happening). I called and spoke with a representative at the Duluth, Gwinnett site about a 2015 Toyota Corolla and asked if the pictures truly represented the car on their lot. The representative assured me it did, so I made an appointment to see and maybe drive the vehicle. Drivetime provides an Autocheck report, but I also purchased a Carfax, which showed an additional accident report that the Auto check report was missing. Reports in hand I arrived at the site and let a representative know of my appointment to see the car. A person drove the car around and opened up every door, trunk, and hood. The vehicle could have used a wash; even the representative commented about the dirt. The car appeared fine from a distance, and I approached the front, keeping in mind the Carfax impact references. In two minutes, I noticed the front grill was only fastened at one attachment point. The center attachment was not secured because part of the old grill was remaining, and the third attach point could not be fastened because the molded standoff bracket had snapped off and was missing. A new headlight assembly would need to be installed to provide a standoff bracket to fix the issue. As I moved to the left front of the vehicle where the fender and wrap-around bumper cover panels meet, the fastening clips were broken. This resulted in the panels protruding away from the connection point instead of being flush to each other. Additionally, a bolt head screw (not factory) was used to secure the fender to the wheel well. The last item was an area the Carfax had noted on top of the roof where there was a gouge that started showing signs of corrosion (rust). I let the staff know of my findings in less than 5 minutes, and they were surprised after I showed them, especially the grill. These were not hidden issues, and the car was not fit to be sold was just a big red flag and gave an impression of all Drivetime dealerships. I left from there and went to a Marietta dealership called American Dealer, see my review, and found the same year and make of car with half the mileage and more options than the vehicle from Drivetime. My recommendation, pictures lie, see the car for yourself, and if you can (it can be pricey), get both car reports. One more thing, pay close attention to the pictures Drivetime posts. We noticed on one car that there were differences in the interior for the same car when looking at two different angles of presumably the same car. Maybe an upload error or may be stock photos of a similar car in better shape. Buyer beware.

I purchased a car for my daughter who will be in college this fall. I needed reliable transportation for her. I had a smooth and seamless transaction. I had a couple of concerns about the car that I was purchasing prior to the purchase. My concerns were addressed by Zac and he went above and beyond my expectations. I had the pleasure of working with Dajah and Jason who completed my transaction. They were friendly and addressed my questions with no problem. The purchase took about an hour.

Very impersonal. The sales manager is cold, demeaning. I drove 5 1/2 hrs to go get the car. They could have at least have washed it. Made it look presentable. Their pre designated test drive route is a joke. Cant go above 30 for more than 30 seconds on their test drive. Pay closer attention to the details before you get trapped.

Dontia is the one who helped me find an amazing car. She was so helpful and so sweet she made the whole process smooth and easy. Car had issues after 1 month, and when we tried to bring it in they said we were too late. Then 11 months after that, 12 months after the car was purchased, the transmission goes out. Do not get a car from here if you need it for more than a year. Just awful.

Fast quick process. Going in knowing I didnt need a large down payment was a breath of fresh air. Decent selection of vehicles, had to travel over an hour to the dealership that had the car I wanted since they dont transfer between dealerships. Price I paid was below kbb where their competitor would have charged $3-$4k over kbb. So overall a great experience. Oh and the no haggle pricing made the visit in and out within an hour.. Overall it was an ok experience. I felt like Brandon did a good job with explaining the process and made it easy. However, 5 mins after purchasing the vehicle the plastic piece under the bumper fell off. I took it to pep boys which he suggested to fix it free of charge which was a kind gesture.. only to find out later that night it wasn’t fixed and it’s started to hang again. I just truly feel like it was strictly about a sale. He kept saying if you need anything contact me but I don’t truly feel he meant it because when I did contact him I got the feeling of like “what now?” I also feel like the issues that I’m having with the vehicle were known issues prior to purchase and should’ve been brought to my attention. All in all, the car SEEMS as if it drives really good and to avoid going through the entire process again which it long enough as it is I found someone to fix the body work for under $100, That’s the only reason I kept the vehicle. Would I use DriveTime again? I honestly can’t say, in a few months I’ll let you guys know how the car is holding up.

Zack treated me like I was thief requiring 3 months of paystubs and my social security card to test drive, and told me I beeded to make an appointment for a test drive. I obliged them anyway and made an appointment only to be told by Jason once I arrived that I cannot test drive a car without an insurance card. Do not shop here...ever.

I purchased a vehicle that was gently used at 60,000 miles 1/18/20 of this year. This morning the car sits at a Nissan dealership waiting for an inspector to come and verify that the car has a transmission issue. This place is by far the worst. I was told that if I were to return the vehicle that I would then be reported as a voluntary reposition that would negatively reflect of my credit score. Brandon was very abrasive,short and rude when I expressed my concerns of having a vehicle that hasnt been in my possession for 30 days is unsafe to drive. Silver Rock who is the insurance company that deals with drive time is a joke as well. I was told to take the car to a Nissan dealership and on ethe way there the car completely stopped on 285. I was in the middle of the road for ten minutes while cars speed around me going 60-80 miles per hour. They sold me a lemon. Im totally upset about it 😔. I will never recommend this company to any one. If you are looking for a new car, rather it is used or not go elsewhere fast.

My Experience was long and exhausting to say the least because of the higher ups that weren’t even there but the Sales Adviser David B. Adam, my sales rep was absolutely perfect. The selection was great. The finance guy/manager kept getting my paperwork wrong and he presented payment ambiguously. He made it seem like my payments would be monthly versus biweekly. And he presented an all inclusive warranty option as only a few dollars more but didn’t expound on the fact that it would be an additional 30 months.Like I said - Adam was perfect. If we could have completed the entire process with him it would been perfect all around.
