I took a custom lamp shade for anyique lamp for repair. They did and excellent job restoring the shade. They are very professional with an enormous selection of products. I will return for more buys and highly recommend their services.

Had been shopping on-line for some time trying to find a lighting store that had a good selection of up-to-date styles. We renovated our house, and finally found Lux Lighting. They have the biggest selection of in-store inventory Ive ever seen. We took home 4 lights and ordered 4 more pendants that came in good time. We came in to this store looking for lighting and decided to try and look around at a few other stores. Thankfully we came back, because some of the other stores had cheaper prices, but Hershel had way more selection, and he even came down in price to match, and then went down in price to $200 cheaper! Dont be fooled thinking Lux has the best prices!. Hershel quoted us $3,000 for a chandelier plus $60 for the chain to hang the item and the ceiling cover. The chain and cover are included from the manufacturer! We found the exact chandelier for $2,019 at Masterpiece in midtown. Hershel also stated that our chandelier weighted 285 lbs and required an extra fee for installation. The actual weight is 67 lbs and we found an electrician who will will install for less than 50% of the $800 quoted by Lux. Luxs total cost for the chandelier plus another foyer light is $4,450 and we will end up spending $3,700.

We had a great experience with Lux Lighting. They did a difficult repair on a light fixture at a fair price. They initially quoted us a price for repair, and after discovering the repair would require additional hours of service did not charge us anything additional. I would definitely recommend them.

We had a WONDERFUL experience at Lux Lighting. Our chandelier’s chain broke and it fell into our dining room table. We thought it was toast but Lux Lighting was able to repair it (new wiring throughout, crystals cleaned and placed back onto chandelier, new chain) and had it installed again in less than two weeks! I inherited a beautiful, antique bronze, statue lamp that had been my grandmother’s, then my mother’s, and now mine. The lamp is over 100 years old and still worked, but still had the original wiring. I wanted the lamp rewired to bring it up to today’s safety standards and a friend recommended Lux Lighting. I was greeted when I walked into the store. Everyone was friendly and Hershel came over to help me. My lamp had complex wiring because of the unusual design. Wiring ran in and out of a two different bronze baskets, through a log from opposite sides, through both shoulders on opposite sides of the statue, met in the middle and ran down through the spine and then out of the statue into the base through opposite legs. The task was not a run-of-the-mill wiring job. Hershel and his crew were able to rewire my complicated antique lamp successfully and it looks and works great. I thought the charges were reasonable for what had to be done, the work was completed in a timely manner, and great care was taken with my lamp that held great sentimental value to me. Hershel even re-stained the 100 year old scuffed up based and added a felt piece on the base’s bottom at no charge. I would highly recommend Hershel and his business. I was not in need of lighting for my house, but while standing at the counter I couldn’t help but notice the gorgeous chandeliers and light fixtures hanging from the ceiling and the walls. If I were looking for lighting, I wouldn’t hesitate to come back to look at his huge inventory. If you don’t live near Lux Lighting, it’s worth the drive!

Fixing my unique lamps wasnt a challenge for Hershel. He did an amazing job fixing the upper base of where the main bulb is placed. Usually other companies will take advantage of customers, but not this place! I was taken care of with a great deal during my visit. Memorable customer service. I have purchased several different types of lighting fixtures from Lux Lighting over the years and their selection is wonderful. They are very helpful and their prices are good. I recently needed to have a light fixture fixed (no fault of theirs, just weathered over time as it is a large, outside light) and the service was great as well as the price for the fix. If you need any type of light or light bulb, this is the place to go!

After a LED bulb exploded shattering the glass shade, I spend considerable time & effort trying to find a replacement shade for the fixture. Several phone calls & internet searches. Finaly purchased a shade from 2 different seller, none were a match and both returned. Received a recommendation to go to Lux Lighting. Walked in the store and within 3 minutes found an exact replacement. Price was very competitive. I recommend going there first for replacement lighting needs.

Scam. Outrageous prices. Tried to cancel and order and the owner won’t let us cancel so we had to dispute the charges.

They had an amazing assortment of chandeliers, vanity lights, wall scones, floor lamps and regular lamps. They had so many it was almost overwhelming. Every kind of atyle I could imagine! The person helping us, who I think may have been the owner, was very helpful and interesting to chat with. We found exactly what we were looking for and it was for a good price. This is my favorite lighting store. Great prices, great selection, and the owner is very helpful and service oriented. It is so much better to see all the fixtures hanging together so you can get a true feel for the size to know if it is right for your space. It is also makes it easier to coordinate if you are buying multiple fixtures to occupy a common space. You can’t do that when you are buying online. They solved my lighting conundrum quickly and for a fantastic price! Their installation prices are also very reasonable.

I took my antique, turn of the century lamp in to Lux Lighting for rewiring and to fix a couple broken glass panes. This wasn’t an easy task, but Hershel and his team were able to find the stained glass, mold it, and rewire. I’m so happy my lamp is now fixed and can be used! PROFESSIONAL AND EFFICIENTI contacted Lux Lighting to have a large chandelier taken down and crated for a move. They were able to provide a firm quote after sending them the size and height of the fixture. The team that they dispatched arrived and efficiently took down the fixture and packed it in a custom made crate. They also took down other, smaller fixtures that were on very high walls. I highly recommend this company for anyone who has expensive lighting that needs to be removed and packed for moving.

I had a broken crystal chandelier that I had purchased from an antique store. I took it to Lux Lighting and found out that it was a vintage Waterford piece! They were so knowledgeable about it, and assured me that it could be repaired and brought back to its original condition. They went through the process step by step so that I knew what to expect, and were very specific as to when the work would be done. They were good to their word. The chandelier is now hanging in my dining room and it is gorgeous! You cant even tell which of the arms is the replacement for the one that was broken. Dont waist your time going to other lighting stores, Exceptionally an outstanding store. You really have to take your time to see everything. They must have thousands and thousands of lights. They also have current products that my husband & I have been looking for On-Line for hours & hours. Their prices are very honest. They look-up model numbers & manufacture names on-line, then when they match for the same price, they gave us 25% Off. Their installation was a little too high, so we have our own guys to do them. My husband & I are very happy. We will recommend for sure.

I had lux lighting come out to clean and move my chandeliers. They were so fragile with them during the entire transport. They possess such knowledge that they informed me details about my crystal chandelier that I had no clue even existed. Once my chandeliers were cleaned and rehung, they looked as if they belonged in a castle. I don’t believe they ever looked that good before, not even when I first purchased them. I recently used Lux Lightings repair service to have two lampshades relined. It turned out that I bought these lamps from Hershel 25+ years ago in Chamblee at Sharons. He recognized the shades immediately and described my lamps. They were expensive lamps then, and are no longer made. So replacement shades to match were nonexistent. I just got the shades back and they did a wonderful job. With lined shades they had to disassemble and reassemble. They cleaned them as well and look great. I am so pleased and glad I found Lux Lightings repair service in the Atlanta area. To prolong the life of my shades, Ive started using LED bulbs in these lamps.
