I have childhood nostalgia from this store I used to love coming here and looking at all the new awesome stuff and enjoying great service but this store has gone downhill so bad it’s just sad to see, the new layout is just poorly placed and the customer service is so spotty sometimes it’s a great knowledgeable employee and other times I just get pointed in the wrong direction or end up being taken in a loop around the store just so an employee can find someone else who might be able to help and all that being said I didn’t hate going here but today I just spent an hour trying to get a replacement screen protector through a warranty I paid for (the screen protector wasn’t properly applied so it now has a bunch of marks on it but I was too scared to ask for them to do it again for fear I might have ended up there another 15 min) and it wasn’t aggravating it just felt like a gut punch seeing one of my favorite stores fall so far
I called THREE times to get help with remote car start, customer service either hangs up, or doesnt speak English or the best yet, stills there on the line and says nothing. Can see why these stores are closing.

I keep giving Best Buy mobile install chances and they keep messing up. Today was no different. I scheduled an appointment weeks ago to get my amp installed today. An hour before the appointment the tech calls and says he has a headache and hes going home so I need to reschedule. Im done with Best Buy, I rescheduled my appointment but not with them
Eagan, MN Best Buy store is a hidden gem. Very helpful staff and not overly crowded. I needed to replace a flash memory drive and all my questions were answered allowing me to purchase the one that fit my requirements. In previous visits I had similar professional service as well as being able to recycle old electronics.
Just wanted to share my experience with Geek Squad working with Sawyer there! Sawyer was super helpful and lead me the right direction on what product is best for me and I couldnt be happier with his recommendation. Thanks Sawyer! 5 stars!
Okay so I got 2 new cell phones (upgrades) and the associate that helped me ended up costing us $1000 without our knowledge b/c he didnt explain things in great enough detail - he simply said we would receive $700 credit per phone that we trade in based on a deal Verizon was running. I dont have anything, or know how, to return the phones still weeks later. I am not getting anywhere by calling Best Buy or Verizon. I am having all of this trouble even getting through to someone that will acknowledge the situation and try to provide any help. Guess Im going to have to spend another large chunk of my time at the store making a complaint, and Im afraid b/c the transaction was done with Verizon cell phone plans that nothing can be done.
Geek squad head Wes proved himself most unhelpful and declared himself the highest employee in the store when asked to speak to his supervisor. Was unable to assist and advised that he would be assisting other customers who had appointments. Did not visibly interact with another customer but did vanish for long periods of time while “assisting” with my problem.
We arrived about 5:30pm on a Saturday evening. Not one employee came up to us, and asked if we would like some help. After over an hour, my spouse went to find a salesperson, and Anwar was extremely helpful and knowledgeable.Best Buy needs to work on their greeting and customer service. Anwar answered a few questions, as they were about to close. Had we been assisted, upon entering the store, we were prepared to spend over $1000.00. We are looking to purchase about 5 items, plus hiring the Geek Squad to install the equipment. Since no one assisted us, we left, no purchase made. Perhaps well spend the money at the State Fair instead of electronics. Sounds fun to me!
Great experience with Kurt the manager. Got our iPhone orders taken care of. He spent a ton of time on the phone with corporate to fix everything and got our trade in values
Okay so i land here at 4:30 . Ten minutes ahead of my appointment which is at 4:40 and first i have to wait 30 minutes just for someone to show up . And then they take another 20 minutes to find the serial number for the product . This is bestbuy in 2021 . Applause . Most of the geeksquad staff is in their mid 20’s who absolutely have no idea about what they are doing . !

They shrunk this location down. It used to have a huge inventory and floor space. Now they have very little product and most of the store is a warehouse. Hardly any employees there to help customers. I dont know what Best Buy leadership is thinking with this store... Not a place Id want to shop.
This is a tier 2 store so inventory may be limited but service is great and employees are knowledgeable, polite and helpful

I am so incredibly let down and mad at best by. I have had in insurance plan through Geek Squad and Best Buy for 2 years and when I went in to get my cracked screen fixed they said that they do not fix Samsung anymore in the state of Wisconsin. They said that I would have to drive all the way to Minnesota to have it fixed I had to drive an hour and a 1/2 to go to another Best Buy just to have my screen fixed. I called to multiple stores in the area and the only way that I could have my screen fixed is if I paid over $300 to have it fixed in order to use my insurance that have been paying through Best Buy and Geek Squad I would have to drive all the way to Minnesota and have them fix it for $64. Why the hell does Best Buy and Geek Squad offer insurance plans if you cant even use it in your own state. You guys get 0 stars.
Helpful staff. Its a Best Buy, so its exactly what you would imagine. Easy to find products and electronics, for maybe slightly more than you would pay online.
I have been increasingly disappointed with Best Buy. The service is almost non existent. The shelves are empty and the store has half of what it used too. I was unable to find an HDMI cable where ypu would think they would be in the TV section.
I went to this location for two days to try to repair my phone. Even after getting an appointment It takes them forever to get to you. After trying to fix my phone they apparently didnt have the part in stock to fix. Now I have to wait a handful of days to get the part and then make a new appointment. There is no sense of urgency with geeksquad, we work using our cell phones.
Stopped in at 10:10 am on a Monday. Was greeted by two different employees walking in (nice start). Was looking for hardware in the Apple section. Was unable to find it and was looking for an employee in the area. After a few minutes of frustration, I looked around. There was one other customer visible. Two workers laughing and talking at front door, two workers talking at customer service and someone walking in and out of an employee only area. After a few more minutes of searching, I finally found the empty space for item. Website made it appear they had them in stock, but decided to do the passive aggressive MN thing and just left frustrated. I wasnt about to interrupt the great conversation the employees were having to ask if they had more in stock. Went to Costco and spent my money there.
I recommend shopping on Amazon instead...Super easy. Best Buy is not great and Amazon offers better financing, everything, and customer service. Half the store is a warehouse now...less product.
Here is a tip for shopping at Best Buy. They close at 8 p.m. and a good time to come in is about 7 p.m. There are not many customers there at that time, usually, so its easier to get someone to come help you. I bought a laptop computer and the sales person who assisted me was helpful.
BestBuy has terrible customer support, their website lists items in stock, and they are not. Also trying to get to talk to a human is an exercise in futility. I had been a BestBuy customer for years but no more. Half of their shelves where prduct should be displayed are empty. Adios, I will find some other store.
The Egan location has always had THE BEST customer service. Twice Ive had phone issues (Not their fault) which other locations could not help me with. The staff here really took time and solved both my issues. I live 25 minutes away but its worth the drive!!
Quick in and out to buy a new iMac. I love the app and how it was able to tell me where to go to find a hard to find computer!
Sparse selection. Over priced, $50 higher than online. Not hard to see why its a struggling chain.
Went here to get my laptop checked out. Geek squad is very friendly and I was helped by a younger employee who seemed to be new- which is not an issue though. He recommended a better laptop which Im happy for his advice, I would have just liked for him to give me a bit more details on the specs before making the full decision.
Helpful courteous staff. Not the largest best buy but the friendliest.They had what the website said they had.

The curbside pick up option was fantastic. I ordered online for pickup, drove to the location and pulled into the parking spot. I used the app the notify the store staff that I was there for pickup and a blue shirt brought my order out within 5 minutes. He verified the 4 digit number I was given in the app and handed over my purchase. I will definitely be using this service in the future!
New Best Buy Stores are Miserable I don’t like what Best Buy become. Barely any products in the store nobody to help. I have been in the store multiple times hoping to find what I need and it’s just a waist of times. I would just go somewhere else instead
Waited 35 minutes to speak with someone about a new TV. No one was available. Poorly staffed... I left without any assistance and several apologies from staff not capable of helping with TVs.
Just had my car starter installed. The tech was running ahead of schedule and was able to get me in sooner than my appointment. The Appointment only took about 45 minutes. He was very nice and friendly and told me what I needed to do. Would recommend this location for auto starters.

As a Best Buy, this is a good one. Employees are helpful, store isnt squalid. The layout is also intuitive, so you can scan the store from the entrance and make a beeline for the section you want. I never felt like I was lost in some terrible consumer labyrinth.
Had to wait 25 minutes and complain multiple times to be given the opportunity to buy a TV. Severely understaffed.
Went on to buy a new cell phone. Staff was very helpful and friendly.
They have you make an appointment just to have you come to wait with other people🤔..This doesnt make sense ..If I make an appointment ..That means it needs to be intimate😌..I only want the tech to focus on me and my issue😕..Not rush me to tell me to come back in three days😒 😣...Come on Best Buy get it together👏🏾👏🏾

Someone was scheduled to show up and give me estimate to install security camera; I waited half a day and nobody showed up. Then, received a call stating someone would give estimate over the phone. No call received either. It’s been a couple of weeks. I should get my money back on geek squad plan

When this place was closed last year due to Covid they did a major remodel of the store. The dvd, video game, and home theater section significantly shrunk (the latter is now storage behind checkout). And they expanded the phone, home appliances, and computer sections. They moved the checkout and geek squad to the other side of the store they used to be on the left side and now are on the right side. There is also these islands for stuff like modems, routers, and Amazon Alexa and its competition. The overall change is fine and Im not angry about it. It just makes you realize how much wasted space there was before.

You might as well order online and pickup at the store. Customer service was lacking in the sales side. Waited in TV’s for 20 minutes before I got frustrated and just ordered the 2 TV’s I liked on their website and picked up at customer service. Big box electronics still have a place in retail, but BB is more focused on the Geek Squad side of their operation than their retail side.

They are very slow is providing service, when you call you are hold for too long. For a local store you wonder why they dont pick up the phone faster!!! Some of their employees seem not to know what they are doing
Started at the Richfield Best Buy - not much help as usual but they directed me to Eagan. Not only did they have what I needed but they were incredibly helpful.Not sure why Best Buys flagship store is so terrible. They should send people to the Eagan store to learn how to treat people right

2 order mishaps on 2 separate occasions. However a lot of it has to do with the online system so I deducted 1 star for online issues. However the manager Kurt is awesome and hopefully we will figure this second issue out as he has helped me with my first.

Curbside is a joke instead of getting everything ready and preparing for customers these clowns choose to do one at a time. All while being unable to be prompt when I go in to retrieve my product. Poor time management and it leads to the customer waiting to get the things they paid for. They have my money Whats the hurry for them.

Its just ok. We needed and help finding something in the store that was listed as in stock in the website. The employee seemed to have no idea how to do that. He also didnt have very good people skills. Wasnt rude or anything but didnt seem to know how to interact with customers. Also, this is a small Best Buy so it doesnt have the selection of the larger stores. Overall, just ok but Id rather support them than Amazon.

Had some great help in the Magnolia area while looking at tvs but the store was a bit messy. Looks like they may have been doing a few display resets or they may have just been low on stock. Either way, still a good experience and would definitely head back for another trip of needed.

Went there for screen repair and the technician told me they don’t have it in the stock and right before I left I found out from another tech that they have it and he was lying to me and I had to call Apple to complain. Really bad experience
The young woman who checked us in was great. The guy that helped us the same night was great. Explained everything to us. But today it was a different story. The young guy who helped us looked like the pressure of 2 other customers was too much, and he just wanted to get us out the door. Sorry. Id give them a 5, but the guy that helped us with picking up the equipment stands out too much.
Disappointed with the service. Had a microwave picked out and went to counter in the area. Guy looked at me and walked away. I didnt purchase anything and walked out.3 stars because they had the microwave I wanted in stock.
