Helpful, friendly staff, good place to get stuff for your home.

They scammed me and my mom out of 1700$!! We bought a washer and dryer duo and when they didn’t fit in out house they wouldn’t let us return them. Before we purchased them we were told that they could make an adjustment to the dryer to make it fit, they told us that it would be free of charge and then when we tried to contact them they said that they don’t do that type of service. I was confused as they told us they did before we bought the duo. They redirected us to a number that did, the number that they gave me was a lie. All they do at this store is lie and lie. Ironic for the manager who has worked there for years to say that they wouldn’t refund us or help us anymore. Scammers! Do not waste your money. I wasted days/weeks trying to get this figured out only for them to lie and scam me. Screw this place.

My sister bought a washing machine for our mom age 84. Mom has very low income and mobility issues, a very bad knee. My sister was careful to measure the space and ordered a machine but when delivered the installation crew could not fit it in the laundry closet. Not only did they leave it hanging out with the base raised up on the track of the closet, they had no caring about how the machine could never work for her in this tilted manner. They told Mom it was only an inch too big and that she could literally have my brother in law cut off the pipe in the back to push back the machine. Mom lives in a condo so she would not be allowed to cut a pipe in the building. They ran a rinse cycle even though the machine was not level and can’t be leveled. They told mom all washers are the same size which is absolutely not true. They told her the only other option was a miniature washer. That was not true the Samsung is 29 inches and several options are available at 27 inches. They deliberately pushed her into signing for the improperly installed machine. Had they let Mom have the time to call my sister it could have been traded in for a properly fitting machine. They had mom sign a computer tablet without explaining that meant she had accepted it as is.They did not show her what she agreed to or give her a copy and she has no computer. My sister called the store and was told the delivery people have no expertise at all or knowledge about correctly installing a unit evern though we paid for installation. Home Depot said Mom should have known better. Our Mom is highly trusting. The unprofessional delivery people tricked her into accepting the machine that she now can’t use and my sister cant return . My sister works hard to help Mom and Home Depot says it’s only buyers remorse. I chipped in and we will get Mom a new machine elsewhere. Home Depot says they have no obligation to assist Mom. This is a huge financial setback for our family

I always like shopping at Home Depot. Their stores are typically set up the same, making it easy to find what your looking for. Large aisles and a wide selection of choices on most items.

They go out of their way to avoid helping you find stuff.

Good store and being a man 🙂 I like to plan my shopping. I go online, find the products I need which have a helpful location, and then go to the locations for my items. It makes shopping fast and there is always the product I need where it says. Other Home Depots arent always as reliable.

Good selection of tools and materials for home repairs. The staff could use some more training on locating things. And curbside pickup needs improvement. The waits were long at times because staff disappear or get confused or lost or whatever. Easier to just go in myself. Basically on your own here but overall a good store. Honestly Menards is better.

Literally kicked out. Was looking for air compressor, they should have 3 of them. Asked a man from tools department, and he said I dont know where its located, thats it. Should I go and help my self??? Then asked 3 more men from the store, they really went to help me, but 40 minutes without result. P. S. Found it at another HD just where it should be in a 2 minutes.

Recently moved to Minnesota after my husband passed away. Bought house that is in need of minor updates. Dan Danner in Kitchen and Bath gave me outstanding customer service - so patient and informative. He made sure I got exactly what I needed and his knowledge on how to get the job done. Perfect. I certainly be going back and asking for Dan.

Ashly was wonderful! I needed something that wasn’t on the shelf. Ashly found that it was in stock. Moved a huge rolling ladder over to get it off the top shelf for me.

The good: I like how on the app it shows the location of items in the store.The bad: I dont like how trim is sold by the foot and I couldnt find anyone to cut me a length.

It seems Home Depot doesn’t want my to post my review on their website. After you post a review - they say it’ll take up to 48 hours or whatever. It’s been longer than that and my review is not there. Weird?!?Either way, I’m very disappointed with my recent purchase. I love Ryobi brand tools and my collection has grown significantly! It’s unfortunate that they are exclusive to Home Depot.This is the 2nd time Ive purchased a Ryobi Brand item that had been used. First time was at the APPLE VALLEY, MN STORE #2833 where my fiance purchased the 20” Brushless Mower. The box was sealed with wood patterned duct tape which he thought was weird but didnt second guess it because when you go to the store to buy a new item at retail price - you assume its new right?! It was not in the clearance section, no “open box” label or reduced price label and Home Depot isn’t an outlet store right?! Low and behold, upon opening it - there were still grass blades in it and half the parts including the manual was missing. Sure yeah, we returned it for a new one, problem solved which is fine and dandy but wasted time and irritating as heck! Today, I go out of my way (due to stock levels and yeah, it was only a few extra miles but still out of my way) to pick up the 6 gal Wet/Dry Vac at the EAGAN, MN STORE #2813. I learned my lesson and made sure to pick the box that was sealed and looked like it hadn’t been opened at all. And what do you know, it was used!!!! Took pictures this time to share. Must be a common practice for Home Depot to put returned and/or used items back on the shelf at full retail for Home Depot. Wasted time once again!! Make sure you’re checking that the item your purchasing is indeed new!

Always easy to find thing.

I had bad experience at this store. I was looking for some stuff and needed help about where the stuff is. Unfortunately the unfriendly employees ignored me and just walked away even she heard me I said “Excuse me”. Besides that I was going to buy some random plant but there was no barcode or price tag on it they didn’t know or help me find out what it was. They asked me do you know what’s kind of plant is it? I said No because it’s just a random plant. I don’t even think that it says on the barcode or tag either. So it turns out that I had to leave it there and said Never mind I don’t want it. Hope to get a better customer service and service mind.

I recently had a lawn mower issue, and I brought it into Home Depot and there was a very nice associate named Cheng who helped me figure out the issue, and he even decided to offer the service for no charge. Recommend him and the store to anyone looking for repairs like this.

Very friendly and helpful greeter. Did not carry some items (i.e. individual Allen wrenches and Allen drivers). Usually carries most items I need.

I have always found VERY helpful, friendly and patient workers here that answer my questions thoroughly and are willing to go the extra mile to help you find a solution for your home Fix-It and improvement needs! Dan Dancer in the Plumbing department is excellent! People were waiting in line to talk with him about their plumbing needs and he didnt hurry you along to get to the next person. He REALLY listened and made sure you understood b4 he went to the next person. Jerry and Joe in the doors and windows are also awesome workers that provide you with the best solution for your needs!

Customer service is iffy.Called to inquire about something in Garden and the person I spoke with was quite rude, and unwilling to provide assistance. Because of this, I asked, “May I have your name please?” and he replies “Umm John” and then hung up. 6/2/21 at ~12:25pm.On the flip side, Dep Supervisor Paul Reeb is excellent. I frequent this location often and he’s always around and eager to help.

I was looking for a fluorescent light and ballast and the worker helped me find the right ones.

Store is clean and straightened. I did not have a good interaction with the staff. On one occasion I rented a carpet cleaner. The man who helped me was being sexist and not helpful at all. Another time I could not find a single employee to help me find a item.

Very easy to find. Reduced gas prices for Sams Club members.

Home depot is a good store. It lacks eye catching stuff like Lowes In the front area plus its hard to get help unless its appliances & flooring centers plus the equipment rental area the rest is I dont know Store is clean Bicycle rack outside needs update

We had a terrible experience with this store. We wanted to purchase an exterior door. The lead time is incredibly long right now (understandable, due to COVID) so we were hoping to go through the process quickly. Its literally been over 3 weeks of us trying to ordering a door! We finally, finally got the phone call that everything was ready. I tried to place the order over the phone and was told that they would not honor a military discount over the phone. A little aggravating since weve been in 4 times, but thats fine. My wife goes in (shes the Navy veteran) and wastes OVER AN HOUR of her day trying to get someone to sign off on the discount. She was told that they dont do that with special orders. Finally a manager was called (who made it over to the desk after 20 minutes) and they discovered the order is not ready to be placed. We will take our business elsewhere - for this door and everything else we need to purchase. What a disappointment.

I had shopped today and initially when I approached a Home Depot gentleman on the product he just said it’s probably in aisle 36 and also in the garden area and you can check out. I was just not happy with his response as he was talking and walking away from me. Then I found randomly sharing the gentleman Samuel/Sam and he was super helpful and came along with me to help and show the item. He was very patient and showed me the item and even helped me in stacking up on the cart and moving the cart as the items was heavy (sand bags) considering I have a back issue and came all the way to billing and dropping it in the car.Thanks Sam for helping me today and you were of great help, much appreciated and showed what customer service is.

Had a pretty bad time trying to buy tools. This was the 4th store I was sent to for an add deal. Visually was able to see the two items I was looking for but was told “they are not in stock” by the gentleman working in tools. Therefore I was unable to purchase because the employee was consistent that it was unavailable.Employee was needed in order to unlock the case but he was unwilling to unlock the items for me to purchase.Left empty handed and lost 4hours of drive time trying to get this sale. :(

Love how THDs website says what aisle and/or bin something is in for the particular store and this store was actually where it is! Plus I like the modern checkout systems and the staff is helpful.

Horrible service, horrible product knowledge. This location has part time what seems like dummy college kids that fill a uniform not a actual role. The employees walk away from you when you are looking for help, the employees are snarky and stuck up. the employees are very untrained in their departments. The only knowledge some of these employees seem to have are the 2 minute do it yourself online educational videos. If you dont like your job, quit. Otherwise, take some pride in your work and learn your products its your job.

Ive made many trips there to buy paint, stain and polyurethane these past couple of weeks, everything Ive needed has been in stock! And the employees have been very helpful.

Good luck trying to get someone to help you. Plenty of employees but none ask you if you need help and seemed bothered when you ask for help.

Curbside system was a little slow and had to sit for about 15-20 mins before my order was brought out, but good overall.

I do many projects and so I do go to Home Depot fairly often. I have always been able to get excellent suggestions on how to do something and the staff are always willing to go out of their way to help you find something.

Went in, found what I wanted quickly, no line at the cashier. A good trip and they had my faucet aerator, screws I needed, and the stud-finder I was after all in stock.

They over charge and lie about time limits. On rentals. Other home depot locations much better. Same with menards

I have been to a couple different HDs in the past few weeks. I was moving so the first couple of visits were for boxes, tape etc. All items in stock and reasonably priced. Once I moved into my new place I discovered hornets. Went to a competitor store b/c I had a rebate certificate to use. But they only had a few of the things I needed. Went across the street to HD, found everything I wanted and used my Veterans discount to get 10% off at the time of purchase- no filling out forms, waiting for rebates while someone else earns interest on my money. Thank you Home Depot!

I was looking for a bbq grill and it took me a minute to decide because they have so many to choose from. I eventually decided on a Weber grill.

My parents hired a contractor to replace their stormdoor. When we scheduled we made sure the contractor would be wearing a mask. Today when he showed up he entered our home without a mask. I politely asked him to wear one and even offered him one. He responded that he would be working outside and didnt need one. (This wasnt completely true as at times he needed to briefly come inside) I told him that he needed to wear one when he was in our home even though it would be a very short period of time. I dont understand why it was a such a big deal to wear one the entire time he was on our property. This is absolutely unacceptable.

I went in for a simple question about bathroom exhaust fans. A guy in the kitchen department offered to help but he kept assuming I had a guy that was installing it for me and kept telling me he would be able to go online and order it for me. Asked the size over and over again even though I said I havent closed on the house yet so I dont have access to it. I just wanted to know about the quiet fans for the bathroom. He wanted to show me the bluetooth features. DUDE! THATS NOT WHAT IM ASKING ABOUT! The fans in my new house are loud! I want to know there are quieter options! IM NOT A DUMB GIRL!

Ever since I became a home owner this has been my favorite store. They always have what I need, plus the staff knows where everything is. They also have good input to help you with whatever project your working on.

Easy find what Im looking for and I usually end up buying more than Im looking for lol. Theyre self checkout is very nice they occasionally help there as well! Not many other stores do that.

It’s a Home Depot. It’s fine. Staff seem to be generally competent and helpful. The pickup locker is my favorite invention. In and out in seconds.

They have the usual home depot stuff. But I think this store is turning into a dog park.

I typically shot the Bloomington Minnesota store. But I needed a specialty item that Bloomington was out of stock. Tyvek tape, Eagan had it in stock so thats where I went!

The lost prevention shoppers make me feel uncomfortable always right up my @** id like to shop longer but its gotta0 be in and out otherwise there they are breathing down your neck man it sux

Please stop the staff member(s) approaching guests for HVAC contest and similar promotions. As a consumer, yes we want that opportunity for a promotion but the gal that was trying to capture guests to sign up was actually aggressively approaching people all the way up to the entry door.Every other aspect of the shopping experience was great, purchased the water softener needed and many other things. Store was in great shape, clean, neat and organized.

Went in today to pick up something that online said they had in stock. Something was wrong, and it wasnt there. The associate found someone else to assist. They found what I was looking for, however, it was still on a pallet and outside. They offered to get it unpacked and ready for a quick pickup at my convince. Great customer service 👍.

Easy to find electrical wall plates with no holes.

No wood carts, all outside, employees standing around doing nothing. No Manager Managing. I mentioned to an employee about the carts. His reply get it yourself. Like I,m going to stand in that covid line again. Mills Fleet Farm = better wood, better prices & better customer service.
