I visited Costco last Friday between the hours of 11a.m. and 2:00p.m. As a person of color, I am embracing technology more and more each day. The reason for that is that the less human interaction I have at the stores translates into less exposure to microaggressions by the employees. This has happen more than once. I think its important to call out this type of behavior everytime it happens. It turns out Costco have greeters who are typically older in age at the doors which I can understand since it is an easier job to do. I was entering the store, took my membership card to show to the employee, he looked at me with hatred in his eyes and didn’t say a word, instead he turned to the person behind me and went on to greet that while male customer with great enthusiasm and I noticed he did the same with the next two others customers. Unfortunately, older males have less tolerance for people of color. I write this review hoping Costco would rethink this strategy in terms of what is best for the customers. This has happened quiet a few times and it’s by the older white male greeters. I also have a membership to Sams and I have to say while the greeters aren’t super excited to see you at least I see consistency in the way they greet their customers. I love the product selection at Costco, but events like this make me think twice whether I should continue buying there. They certainly do not ignore you in yoir way out when they are counting the items in your basket sometimes twice.

I love this location of Costco. There are two entrances that make it very easy to get in and out. Not to mention it is properly organized. Which allows them to get more products into the store. Fantastic deals.My favorite item in the store is Kirkland Brand Organic Milk. Comes in a 3 pack of half gallons. Which are good for up to 2 months!They also have gas pumps and the liquor store on campus.

When to Costco Tire Center today to ask about tires for my daughter’s car and Nick went above and beyond to help me. He came out to my car and showed me specifically why the tires needed to be changed. He then took probably 20-30 minutes helping me find the best tires to keep my daughter safe when driving in winter conditions. Highly recommended this location and specifically Nick who displayed exceptional customer service.

Love this Eagan store. Never as crowded. Friendly staff and helpful

Today is October 10,2021, customer service was not what I expected, staff at door coming in and leaving was beyond rude to me.I also ask someone where a item was, she took a deep breath as I was Bothering her. I just want to get items and get out if here.Woodbury location where I normally go always nice and helpful.Needless to say I will never come back to this location

Best thing I liked about this Costco is no waiting for gas, there is always a slot available. However service provided by tire centre is not up to the mark, they are not having enough staff. Any issue comes the guy in the centre will ask to wait for the manager to come. Once he asked me to wait for 15-2 mins as he had gone for meal

Abe from Costco is AMAZING! He deserves a raise! He went out of his way to help me. He saved our wedding! Sams club disappointed us and our shipment did not come in. Costco as usual never disappoints. Costco always has the best people and customer service!

Excellent prices! Still new and not to crowded yet. Once people’s sams memberships start expiring then it will get busy. Love me some Costco

Love early shopping at Costco. I’ve been able to shop early during the pandemic, and I love it. The workers are usually still cleaning and stocking when I’m there and that doesn’t bother me a bit.I also appreciated Costco’s mask policy. They were one of the first to require masks. That says a lot about what they think of their customer’s safety.

What you would expect from Costco. And good gas pricing.

Receiving starts at 5am. Tight back in. Nice people, fast unloading. Truck entrance on blue Gentian Rd. One or two spots to park next to the building after hours.( Dont make a mess like some drivers are want to do or youll ruin it for everyone.)

Best Costco in the Twin Cities. Not crowded, has the optical, pharmacy and liquor store. Worth the drive across town on 494.

Buy the membership its worth it. Great company I love to support.

A hidden gem of a Costco, no where near as busy as the Burnsville one. And this one has a gas station that is easy to get into!

I had just got to my car with all of my merchandise and accidentally locked my keys in the car. I was waiting for AAA for some time and a Costco employee named Ong came and asked if I was okay. He took my frozen stuff (since it was so hot out) and told me to come back for fresh frozen stuff when my car was unlocked. Very nice and personable guy!!

Compared to other Costco locations I feel like this is the most chill. The employees are all just downright wonderful. Pleasant, helpful, friendly. Ive seen no issues with masks compliance which I greatly appreciate. Can always get a good parking spot. As a mom who usually has to bring one or both of my little ones it makes all the difference that theyre so welcoming and engaging with my family.

Youll probably find this review biased, but I love Costco. I think I rarely rate a Costco less than 5-Stars😂. One thing I have to mention is that this Costco is at a awkward location. You can see the Costco sign very close to you on two of the interstate highways, but you gotta drive like 10 minutes to get here from the highway. Otherwise, nothing to complain about. Just another typical Costco.

Be warned when buying pizza by the slice:They prioritize people who buy whole pizzas, which means that if you order a slice and the next 20 people order whole pizzas, youre not getting served - ever!Theyll even tell you once in while it will be 5 minutes more or so - but thats a frase they say, nothing to do with reality as long as there are people ordering whole pizzas. I waited for 30 minutes, but seems that if more people had ordered whole pizzas I could have waited forever...

Service counter well staffed...fast helpful checkouts......Sams Club (also a member) should take some lessons in these areas..

I absolutely love Costco! I always look forward to going & seeing what they have that I cant do without. The new Eagan store is very nice & so much closer for me than Woodbury or Maplewood.

Costco has arrived in Eagan and what a beautiful new building. When a new store opens, Costco brings in special products for the first week that they typically don’t sell. This location has designer purses that will be here for a week. Also, some high end jewelry such as a Rolex watch. You can find different products at each Costco you visit. Today I purchased Mini pancakes made in France.The store in Eagan has a liquor store and what is new, self check out!!! But for all you sneaky people trying to pull a fast one, the receipts at self check out print out on a blue paper. Which alerts the receipt checker to double check your purchases.Staff is super excited to be here. This location is still hiring. The parking lot has extra wide parking spaces. This store has opened just in time for the Holidays.

Great new location with ample parking and room to grow, same great people and service like any other Costco.

Its Costco, so what you get here is generally what you get at anyone. I find it frustrating some times when you develop a favorite item or product that you keep coming back for, only to find it goes out of stock and takes a long time to come back, if ever. But, thats life at Costco.

I love Costco and this location is no exception. I currently have two very painful knees that will be replaced in the near future. In the mean time it helps tremendously if I can use a motorized cart at larger stores to do my shopping. At most places it is pretty hit or miss whether a cart is available and if it is fully charged. There is nothing more frustrating than doing half of your shopping with a motorized cart and then having the battery die in the middle of the store. This happens on a regular basis at Target and WalMart. But not at Costco. There was a small fleet of carts all charged up and ready to go at Costco yesterday and that has been my experience every time. Thank you Costco!

Had a question about product within a promotion they are having as they have sign all over products within it. Went up to a girl and asked, if the product is within the promotion of so and so, she replied she dont know that promotion and what promotion Im asking about? I then said something along a line of dont you know your promotions and there are signs all over. Her replied do you know how many promotions we have? in a condescending tone. What I expect is a helpful response and not a rude one. I dont expect that kind of customer service and attitude at a place I have to pay a fee to go in and to have the privilege to buy things. I may expect that from other non membership places like Walmart. I was then passed on to two other guys who also have no clue about the promotion theyre supposed to promote. Costco Eagan should give their employees more training. This employee girl is an example disappointing customer service. Before I went up to ask, all she care about is chit chatting with previous customer while theyre working away. If you want to have a good experience there, only buy what they have and never asked question or need help. Definitely will think about downgrading membership or just use Sams Club. Costco Eagan and Costco itself probably dont care about these reviews since theyre so popular which is sad. If only there is Traders Joe in Eagan.

Friendly service, easy access. This location is easy to get in and out of compared to burnsville location. Its a costco. Not too different from the rest.

Very clean and organized store. Clothes selection is great. Shoes not so much. Wish they had baby food items like Gerber.

I love Costco more than I should. The meat, produce and freezer sections at the Eagan store have really good selections and are on par or better than the other stores I have visited in the Twin Cities. The only reason I dont give a 5 star rating is because of the parking lot and customer aggressiveness I have seen both inside and out. I am very deliberate about the days and times I go in order to avoid people.

Generally good.Their bakery/bread goods start molding after just 4days from purchase. They must be reusing flour or not packaging hygienically. Just cant buy the 2for1 6packs anymore.

At Sams club I can use their app and choose pick up in store since this saves a lot of time and money because I know when things are on sale. For example, Extra virgin cold pressed organic coconut oil shows on sale now for 9.88 at Sams (normally $14) but I don’t know what the local price is at Costco since their website tells you to check at store? At Costco there is no option to pick up in store. You can’t even search what is in store since they decided not to invest in what consumers want . Please update your app and website to show what products are available in store. Also, Sams club allows you to email in-store receipts to yourself automatically so you don’t have to keep hard copies. Costco is behind the times but content to maximize short term profits over a modern consumer experience. Also, I find the parking harder to navigate . They do deserve credit for having a lot of gas machines when they work.

Costco Eagan is awesome and truly has great products and customer service! The quality of food at Costco is 10× better then Sams! They have a nice food court and awesome prices on gas! I also like that they extend the manufacturers warranty by a year on a lot of electronics and appliances!

The 9 hole disc golf is quick and nice for beginners but wish the climb up to one of the hole was more natural and safer.

Credit card. Career. Cost-co membership. If you shop here chances are your life is half over and you have settled that this is about as good as life is going to get. You use to have dreams. Now you wonder around aimlessly wondering if you need a 12 pack of mustard or if that 75 inch TV is enough to fill that empty void in your soul.

Lots of organic foods. I wish they had a scan and go option but the checkout is pretty quick.

No masks required anymore (they dont require proof of vaccination, so anyone can go maskless) despite the local area NOT having a high vaccination rate. This means immunocompromised people are unnecessarily put at high risk. As a lifelong Costco shopper, I am beyond disappointed. Profits ahead of people. Fortunately they dont sell anything that cant be found elsewhere.If youre an anti-vaxxer, cmon in, the doors open..

I really like this costco! its not quite as busy as some of the other locations but you do need to be aware of the time and day you go if you want to avoid the crowds! The employees at this location really set this one above the others!

What’s not to love about Costco!? Cheap gas, awesome food in bulk prices. Try to avoid going on the weekends though as I get super busy in the store!

They had a great selection. We went on a Saturday and it was VERY busy, but the staff at the register were very fast and the lines moved so quick!

Unbeatable prices on a lot of items. Some items are a bit more expensive than in some stores, but its because its organic or just a bulk item. Doing the math, its cheaper per item. Worth the visit.
