Was a life saver convenient store on my way to california from laredo texas

I prefer this Dollar General in town over all the others. Theres just less traffic of ppl inside and thats good nowadays.

Dropping to 2 stars because I witnessed the manager (short haired older lady) get into it with a customer. She accused the customer of grabbing the ladder to get things on top of the shelves and the customer denied it. Apparently the person in front of me was a witness to her not climbing. The manager kept repeating to the customer that she shouldnt get up to grab items over and over. One time would have been enough. Then the manager accused the gentleman in front of me of being together with the other customer because he witnessed what happened and defended the first customer. The manager kept telling the gentleman who was not being disrespectful, Whatever sir, whatever. I had heard bad things about this manager before, but had never experienced it beforehand. Now I see why the rumors are going around town. Called customer service and placed a complaint about her. It was uncalled for, unfair to both the customers and I did not have to see her dramatic ways. I hope she gets taught what customer service is about or they put someone who can deliver it.Very well organized store, friendly staff and easy to walk around it. Also close to home and work.

Love that they always have what I need

Manager here has always maintained a great standpoint on how service should be. Every single time Ive gone to this specific store, Ive never had a problem with the management here. This store has also always had the items or food I needed. I commend the staff here and suggest this Dollar General store rather than any nearby store from around this location.

I went to purchase some items today and both associates working there were not wearing mask today everyone needs to do their part against virus but if essential workers don’t wear mask,,I will be taking my business somewhere else,, I noticed that 1 of the workers got into a old white pickup truck parked outside the store he was shopping without a mask in the store,,, so nope 👎🏻 never again at that store

Place is conveniently located near my place. Products are reasonably priced. It is better if you use digital coupons. Never really had problems other than sometimes I have to wait for a cashier to show up to ring me up.

So I’m a usual couponer, but I came home for the weekend so I decided to try couponing here in EP. one transaction went through perfectly, but the second one didn’t. I asked if I could cancel the transaction or be able to re put my number since I forgot to clip a coupon, and mind you in other stores I usually get rude employees but this time I didn’t! I got a younger cashier that was so nice and understanding as well as her supervisor! I highly recommend coming this store!

My number one store for quick shopping. Pretty much everything! Love it.

My trip to Dollar General was exceptional the people were very polite helpful the store was Immaculate compared to others across the country and as usual I love stopping at Dollar General

They are so rude !!! i went to the store with my mom then I asked a worker if they have a restroom he was very nice and said that I had to ask the ladies at the front .When I went to ask one of them was on her cell phone and ignored me I asked other one and she just said there is not restrooms today and she just smiled (sarcastic ). My mom its an older person and if the guy said that they have restroom she should been nice or say it in a nice way . But there was another customer and what a big difference she was smiling and talking to very nice . What I dont understand what is the difference between one customer and us ???😒

The store is kind of small but I definitely found everything on my list.

I Think that this store has just opened because it lacks many things but has Good service....

My visit to this store was very helpful do to I can find every things that I needed.

Its got a nice layout but they are constantly restocking empty shelves and theres merchandise blocking the way of a few aisles every time I visit. They also never have more than one register open.

Decent store has most of the basics for the house and some however restrooms not functioning dirty back area and careful with some items that may be either open or bad again its a good store but management has poorly maintained it

Newly remolded. Has last minute supplies u might have forgot to get at your local grocery store. Note books, gift cards and home appliances are cheaper here than other places.

Worst customer service imaginable! Employee Bonnie was rude and verbally abusive to a woman trying to use a coupon. Manager Hope was just as rude and unprofessional. Ive reported both to the corporate office.
