This S&S has EVERYTHING!! They have the BEST selection of products Ive ever seen. For example, I live in Bridgeport CT and Ive got this blackberry ginger ale [Im currently obsessed with] but this Stop & Shops the only store that I ever found my Blackberry ginger ale in 12 packs of cans buy 2 get 1 free and my second favorite Cherry 7Up also available in 12 packs of cans!

Stayed open throughout the pandemic. Clean store before 2020 and they really stepped up their game. Followed guidelines for precautions and kept well stocked when we needed them.Offer curbside pickup.The staff is always helpful and courteous and I hope other customers appreciate that they helped us keep our routines close to normal in the unstable climate of 2020.

Employees are getting a little frustrated it seems at this Stop And Shop. Last week an employer was frustrated at an elderly Woman looking for Pepcid AC among other things, and the employee grabbed the box, showed it to the woman and then said here, and slammed it into her cart.Today I guess some guy didnt click 1 for the count of bags he used and the employee freaked out and threatened to call security over a 10 Cents bag.Sheesh mellow out people. Life is too short.

Grocery pickup was amazing will definitely continue to do throughout this pandemic! Everything was correct and the woman who brought out all my groceries was incredibly sweet and very nice/friendly.

I just have to say that I travel a lot and I use public restrooms when needed. Stop and Shop restrooms are always far from good or even ok. I am not sure why. Comparing to other grocery stores they come last.

I made an online order for a specific dish and they sent me an email telling me the main food item I needed was not in stock. I called to cancel the order but was pleasantly surprised when, instead of immediately canceling my order, the associate asked me what was missing and worked to find me comparable options. He also mentioned that they would be getting a shipment the next day and that they would call me if what I needed came in. I was not expecting the extra time and effort that he put in to work with me and I am so happy with the service I received, especially during the busy holiday season.

Just another highly expensive supermarket, would recommend trader Joes of course over stop and shop or big y. The setup and layout is alot less confusing than big y!

Saw a lot of great deals. And if you want to order curb side pick up a lot of spaces to park for only that

I usually shop at S&S in East HavenI had gone to S&S in North Haven to pick up some items and was so impressed how clean and bright the store was. All your stores should be like that. East Haven S&S needs a lot of work.

Pretty good. Came to get some stuff for an upcoming family trip. Got what I came for then left. 😌

The prices is out of this world !

The lines are all messed up why do I have to wait and let you decide which line I go to this is America not china. UPDATE AFTER RESPONSE FROM STOP AND SHOP: And no I won’t waste even more of my time contacting your customer service line just to explain to your company what you are doing wrong when it’s already explained just fine on here. We are still in America as far as I know which is supposed to be a free country not one like China which is communist with bread lines. There is a good reason the Chinese started immigrating here to the USA because the communist way does not work. Here is America we are supposed to be capitalist and free which means I can choose whatever god d*** line I want not be told by some power hungry grocery store front end manager that I must wait In a crazy line just to wait for her to decide what line I’m then allowed to go to.

A lot of young people wearing shirts the same length as their shorts so they look pantless. Seems inappropriate for a place that has frozen food section. Everyone who works there looks like theyre hiding a really weird secret.

Went to return sealed bag of frozen shrimp at about 2pm today. Was told no returns due to Covid? Sealed frozen foods seems a little over the top. Wouldnt have been so bad except for the horrible nasty attitude of the customer service person. No reason not to be polite, I wasnt even upset.....

I just moved to the area and was thrilled to see how close this S$S was. Things are very chaotic and I have had to make a few stops in to get what I need. I needed help finding an item and after asking two workers, I won’t ever ask for help again. I myself am also an essential worker and fully comprehend the stress of having to work during a pandemic and dealing with individuals in a retail setting. We are all tired and underpaid but it isn’t a reason to be cold to customers. I was very clearly bothering the second person I asked and only discovered the item I was looking for wasn’t in stock after another worker saw me pacing the aisles. And I don’t understand why I was literally hovered over as if I was about to steal something at self checkout. It created a very uncomfortable shopping experience.UPDATE. Changing to one star for the “gentleman” who was stocking around 9:30 at night that likes to gawk at people with his mask dangling around his chin. I am starting to think there is literally no management working here. I have been a Stop and Shop customer for years and have never seen employees look so unhappy, and give so few f***s. The store does not have the Stop and Shop flow, things have rung up at different prices than marked. NEW MANAGEMENT PLEASE!

The service is great for people who can’t get yo the store. Place small orders and your order will be on time as always. When someone orders 30 cases of water, and your order is next, it’s going to be late. Just FYI. Order whatever you like snd they’ll deliver it. PS. The boxes are NOT for totaling up the order.

My favorite place to shop. I love Sue (the awesome lady on self-checkout. She is always eager to help!The deli department is not the greatest there. Often times the ladies (and guys sometimes) are gossipping or complaining about soemthing, that is until a customer arrives, then all of a sudden they are extremely busy doing everything else but taking care of you so be prepared to wait. Even Mary, the deli manager follows this pattern.

I had to go in for 5 items because I totally forgot to add them to my walmart delivery order and needed them for dinner tonight and the same manager that has harassed me on 3 seperate occasions sought me out yet again today, regarding wearing a mask which I have a documented medical exemption form which I have showed her each time she has harassed me. I have one corporate complaint already because she is violating corporate policy, so after todays visit now there is 2!

I havent shopped at a grocery store since july 2020 due to COVID...But thankfully peapod was there to bring groceries to me...i may not ever go back to shopping at the store and hauling my food home.ive gotten everything I need online...produce selection is sometimes not as good as picking your own...but its not worth catching COVID

Today wasnt bad not crowded seemed to be very clean there was empty sale shelves had to wait to be sent to cashier Anthony did a wonderful job kept it moving the cashier was patient I didnt feel rushed and Anthony came over and helped me bag I had alot my cart was full

Transphobe harassed my girlfriend and made the experience of shopping very uncomfortable.

Everything was good except I couldnt any of the 85% ground beef that was advertised for $2.99 a pound.

Nice store just did not have what I wanted

Stop and Shop North Haven is located in a great spot. In a plaza with other stores and right near the highway. Lots of choices and products to make good comparisons. Also very clean and organized.

Just an okay stop& shop..Not as nice as the Branford location

This store seems to be going downhill. They are out of items for days at a time. Not just toilet paper, rubbing alcohol or things related to covid. But things like apple juice, pet supplies, and bread. Yet when I go to the West Haven or North Haven store which are busier, they are still fully stocked. And when east haven does get the item back, its a few of them, and its empty for days again. I dont know what changed or if someone different is doing the ordering, but if an item consistently sells out, like honeycrisp apple juice, most stores would order more of the item, not just a few. Customer service is still good at this store.

Lines were moving at a good pace before the big snowstorm so I was quite satisfied

I do most of my shopping at this store.They have a very large variety and are a little less expensive than Shoprite.They also make electric carts available for disabled like myself.It would be nice if they made them available at both entrances.I recommend shopping here for quality and good prices.

Great store one of the nices stop and shops around.

Since I discovered this place I havent been to any other Stop and Shop. Very clean and polite. Workers there do a great job keeping the shelves neat and full. If I were you, shopping here is a must during the week day.

Good store, well stocked, convenient location.

The employees were terrific however the increased prices during this epidemic prove to be a hardship. I feel that Stop & Shop should try to help the community a bit more without price gouging.

Much prefer the Branford S&S, seems to be laid out much better than East Haven S&S

It was very distressing to shop for my groceries and see numbers of people walking around the store without wearing a mask. I did not see anyone sanitizing the shopping carts. The cleaning area for carts was a ripped up roll of paper towels sitting on the floor and a spray bottle with an unknown cleaner inside. I live in a household with someone who is immunocompromised and someone with asthma. I dont like having to fear I am possibly introducing a fatal disease because I need fresh produce. I work in healthcare and Ive been working through this pandemic. I know how difficult it is, but we have a responsibility to do better for the community and our clients. I will be taking my business to a store whose staff cares more about enforcing federal guidelines for infection prevention.

This is now multiple times that Ive been forced to avoid walking down aisles, and cutting my shopping trip short because a customer was allowed to bring their dog (not a service dog) into the store.Im very allergic to dogs and when one is allowed in the store, even though the sign on the door explicitly states that ONLY service animals are allowed in the store, youre basically saying that you dont care about the portion of your customer base that shouldnt have to decide between buying their food from you (as opposed to the other stores within driving distance) or being able to shop comfortably.

Very confused everything is in different places!! You get used to where everything is and then Stop and Shop decided to so call renovated this store!!

Easter Sunday morning made by Nate and Lisa who were the 2 cashiers this morning that made my Easter morning trip to Stop & Shop !

Shelves were mostly stocked. Lots of fresh produce; and meat in the cooler. Clean, organized, not crowded.

Accused my fiance of stealing, then wouldn’t check his receipt after him asking multiple times. the security officer took a picture of his ID, then a cashier finally came over and checked and said he didn’t steal anything. he deleted the picture, but didn’t apologize. the manager didn’t believe my fiancé and ALSO didn’t apologize. horrible customer service. the stop and shop i used to work at would never treat people with such disrespect. disgusting. we will be calling corporate.

Standard grocery store experience. All standards such as selection, hygiene, customer service are present. Everything you need is here, just sometimes a little difficult to find.

Stop and Shop as a whole has become way too expensive vs somewhere like Aldis that offers organic food at a way lower price or BJs/costco that charges the same price for double the amount of an item.... they charge 10 cents on paper bags when theres no statute stating there is a paper bag tax.... only plastic bags are taxable... when asked they said well we charge .10 and donate it... thats illegal lol sadly its the only game in town so I gotta go here at times when I really need things

As grocery stores go Stop & Shop is a fairly miserable place to do food shopping. This location takes the cake. This store seems dim and overall depressing. This is a bigger location with a large selection, but I still struggled to find what I need. The isles seemed tighter than usual. I wish this location had a more consistent layout like other locations. The staff isnt that great, but thats nothing unusual for Stop & Shop; Especially the employee who had a temper tantrum with the register. However, the guy in the deli who complimented my suit was a nice surprise. The bread in the display case at the bakery was still cold, its far from fresh. To top of my poor experience at Stop & Shop this location had trolleys in many isles making it hard for customers and the stupid robot to get around.

My grandson and I went to Stop & Shop on our way home from attending the Sound Tigers hockey game in Bridgeport on Saturday night. I was in and out in no time, no crowd, no lines, and I found everything I needed, along with things that were on sale.For once in a long time, my shopping experience at Stop & Shop was actually very enjoyable.

Well stocked for sales. Deli department slow and cashiers seem to like to gossip back n forth. Standing there checking out...with a 15 month old and the girl who started bagging decided to have a conversation with another employee and stopped bagging. I had to say something to get her to help me finish bagging my large order. No one wants to hear a little one screaming!

Not sure whats going on at this Stop & Shop, but its a bit of a disaster. I *think* they are just in the midst of re-organizing all of the aisles, but their inventory is very limited right now, and everything is scrambled around the store. This is normally a pretty good Stop & Shop, but I would avoid it until they get things sorted out.

It was hard finding things, out of all the tomatoes sauce and paste. Had a nice employee help find things as they were moving everything

Convenient, clean, and quick. Employees are very nice. They always have a wheelchair cart for dad.
