I ordered a 170 amp alternator for my 86 Mustang. I needed a high amp alternator to keep up with my Holley EFI setup, and I decided to do a 1 wire alternator to keep it simple. Worked flawlessly. Parts came pretty quick, and bolted right up. I had an aftermarket alternator bracket, so it needed a little notch in the bracket. Would definitely shop here again. Great customer service.

New to gold cart work and had a couple questions about some parts for my club car carryall and Im in Florida. Left a message in the morning and they returned my call promptly the same day and were very helpful in making sure I got what I needed. Part was to me and installed within a week and worked great. Also they are the only site Ive seen that gave the warning about checking the voltage regulator and Im glad they did because mine was putting out way to high voltage. If they didnt have that warning posted I probably would have ruined the new starter generator I ordered.

Ordered a starter. They sent the wrong one. I was asked to prove it was the wrong one by sending pictures via email. I even discovered their mistake on my own.. The starter they sent me was “according to their records” the one that fits my engine… yet it isn’t. It fits a similar one their “records” apparently aren’t familiar with. I didn’t receive a reply with an RMA for days until I contacted them again. Sent it back after a few days, delivery was then confirmed. Didn’t receive a refund for over a month and I had to keep emailing them. First they say it takes 3 business days, then 10 days. The whole process of them screwing up my order took over a month to get my money back (ordered 6/18 refunded 7/22) and no one seems to be working there besides me. Absolutely absurd business. None of these mistakes were due to Covid so let’s not pretend times are too tough to handle one starter and if you can’t get that right maybe learn to handle one refund promptly since I don’t know…. It’s YOUR SCREW UP.

I searched all over the internet for parts for my old Hustler mower. Ordered what was supposed to be the correct part, TWICE, only to return both of them! Called up and emailed trying to get a return for a replacement after about the third email I got a reply and they said that they would not take it back if it had been installed in any way! My purchase from MCR went smoothly, well organized, and timely. Unfortunately, the hydraulic motor/pump I purchased for my outboard was redesigned and would not fit into the tilt/trim housing on my out board. I separated the housing sufficiently to have room for entry of the pump but it just would not insert into the. I finally removed the new pump and attached the old pump to the motor, then it inserted well but would not function. A waste of time money and effort (several days of effort before I finally gave up.) MCR did their part well but whoever redesigned this motor/pump replacement never put one in. Its a difficult repair but when the part doesnt fit it is impossible. thanks for the effort. but I think whoever re engineered this should have to sit in someones driveway and repair a trim/tilt on a heavy outboards

Needed a Lucas ACR alternator for my Austin Healey to replace one that failed. Although the one I got wasnt a Lucas it was identical minus the Lucas name cast into it. It works beautifully and at a reasonable price. I wouldnt hesitate ordering from MCR again in the future.

I have a 2009 Dodge Ram 3/4 Ton Pick up. Ive got several upgrades which puts a bit more load on the alternator than stock plus we tow a new Airstrean Trailer. The factory alternator had a tough time keeping up with the load so we contacted the folks at MCR and ordered a high output alternator which is a a bit over double the output of the factory model.I installed the unit and the first time I started the engine, the truck jumped off the ground about 3 feet! OK maybe a little exageration there, but the charge needle moved way past the center line which never happened before. The headlights are bright once again and all the lights on our trailer are bright too. I also installed a heavy duty wire loom for charging the twin batteries on our trailer and now they are always charged up as well. Great products from MCR but I also want to add that they have a great team of people that really know their stuff and are extremely helpful. This post may sound like Im a personal friend writting this review, but I can assure you that Im just a satisfied customer that appreciates good service and great products from a company which now-a-days is sometimes hard to find! Thx again to all the good people at MCR

I give it 1 star...here is why. I ordered a front windshield wiper motor for my 06 trail blazer. It showed up fast, price was good, thats cool. But, they sent the wrong one. Emailed them to please send me a return postage so I can send it back and get the right one. They said no, that I had to pay shipping because they sent the right part. I sent a picture of both motors and connections, clearly the wrong one. So I had to pay $20 to ship the wrong motor back and get my money back, then 3 weeks and 3 emails from me to get the refund. Absolutely terrible customer service and I will never order, nor refer them to anyone. Thanks for nothing!!

Motor failed after third use. Was told it was overcranked so warranty was void. After this have repeatedly tried to get motor sent back with zero luck. Absolutely horrible customer service unless of course they are trying to sell their product.

Went here for an alternator for my boat. They took my old pulley off and installed on the new alternator at no cost . Customer service and price were excellent. I had a noise coming from the alternator upon installation (whining) returned with the alternator so they could check it out. He put the alternator on the tester showed me it was fully functioning and offered some ideas as to the problem and possible solutions. Turns out the belt had worn to approx 3/8 size not allowing proper contact. ( v belt) the gentlemen was right and without the idea I would t have thought the old one had worn that bad as it still looked in good condition and proper size for 3/8. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend anyone go here as the first place they try for an alternator or any parts.

Does not honor their own warranty. Nut came off shaft, pulley and fan damaged shaft due to free play. They mailed me a nut to fix it myself, nut didnt fit. I tried a different nut and it didnt work so I shipped it back to them for them to tell me I need to pay them $100 to fix it because I damaged it. They are claiming the case is cracked and other stuff that wasnt there when I shipped it. Took them 2 weeks and me calling them multiple times for them to give me an answer. Says I need to pay or they will throw it away. Do not use this company, no wonder they have such horrible ratings.
