I like this store, they have things that I need. There are always friendly associates to help, with what Im looking for.

They didnt have any reverse bulbs, license plate bulbs, or license plate bolts for my car, and this is supposed to be an auto parts store. They told me to go to another one down the street. I likely wont return.

I love this place! On Groesbeck south of 12 Mile Rd. Is the absolute best location Ive ever been at. The staff are very knowledgeable & helpful. The best customer service ever!

This one is better than the one on Moross which is closer to my house. Because they answer the phone when you call, greet you when you walk in the door & at least know what their talking about when your asking about parts.

Your staff doesnt know their parts. Not very much automotive knowledge. They didnt even know the difference between a high pressure rubber hose and a hose designed for a vacuum. I use I buy most my parts at auto zone. Ran into staff and manager that were not at all knowledgeable about parts at the 8 and gratiot. Been to both 8 mile and gratiot and the one at 9ish and gratiot. Got to know your parts not just rely on a computer. And at least know your inventory. Sorry Bro. But you did ask.And thanks for at least being concerned.

Upon entering the store, I was waited on right away. I didnt have all the information I needed to make my purchase; however the clerk patiently helped me find what I needed. I was in & out right away.

Picked up a part that was ordered for me no wait, no line parking was a breeze.

The good old AutoZone of Detroit, guaranteed to get you the wrong part every time! I stopped going here a little while ago because on several occasions Ive had to do their job for them. And by that, I mean actually go into their back stock and find the part myself. Its pretty awful when the customers can do the job better than they can. Why do they have anybody working there?

Most of the employees are nice and helpful. They rent specialty tools at this location. I have encountered a few rude employees over the past 10 years I have been coming here and actually had one young woman call me stupid because I was having a hard time remembering the name of the part my husband needed. Fortunately she no longer works there.

On 7/15 this so happened to be the second AutoZone I stopped in to purchase CATACLEAN. The first location did not have it but because my google search said that AutoZone carried the product I tried my luck at the Gratiot, Eastpointe location. If I had been told that they were sold out I could understood however, the cashier/guru DEE BUTLER, (I got from his name tag) When I inquired about the product CATACLEAN without looking it up or directing me to where it may have been located he said “ IT DIDN’T Exsist”. The second attended who was a very nice guy told me to check the location on the wall. I found the last bottle of CATACLEAN. After I let Mr. Butler know that I found the bottle, he then told me that he had been in business for over 30 years and that the product normally doesn’t work. I don’t appreciate Mr. Butler lying to me and I’m sure AutoZone and the product’s company would not like to know that he is detouring paying customers from making a purchase. I go to my my Machanic and google for reviews, and since Mr. Butler was either lazy, lacked knowledge or is just a liar that is bad at customer services after 30 years I wouldn’t want his advice any way.

Very nice professional staff theyre all very knowledgeable and they know where everything is located pretty much.The service can be a little slow at times but I think thats because theyre giving a lot of attention to detail until the customer that working with that the time but definitely worth the wait.

My fiance always drags me here with him. They are always helpful and friendly. I have no complaints at all.

The customer service reps at the St Clair Shores location are the best ever. Bacon is the manager but you wouldnt know it because she works just as hard hazard underlings I will drive out of my way to go to this location because of the service I received. I dont think you can find this many happy employees at one location if you doubled there salary. They should use this store these employees as training manuals for the whole AutoZone Corporation. Hands down the best AutoZone Ive ever utilize and Im a mechanic Ive utilize them from Vermont to Washington State.

Caution playing backyard mechanic can have its risksArrive there needing a starter gave them vin number they gave me starter according to the vin I gave them well when I got back to install starterwas smaller than original starter it fit in the opening. Return back to store after looking over my core to compare with new ones was given one that looked exactly the same however the inside gear was shorter I did not notice that sometimes things look similar but are not the same my original mechanic(downtown Mobil auto service 2135 Michigan a) was able to diagnose and tell meSo I had to return starter that we thought would fit my vehicleNow for the return the manager JeffryWas very helpful although he explained that I could not get cash back I would be given a store credit I was happy enough and good looks too the staff there thanks jeffry

Extremely unhelpful. We just came in to fix our license plates bolts and we wanted someone to look and see what bolts were needed. We were met with callace like behavior and were blatantly dismissed. I would not recommend this AutoZone at all.
