All the times Ive been in a GameStop, not once had someone mentioned rewards! Store manager, Josh, was helpful in giving tips to my son who clearly was torn on what exactly he wanted. On top of the rewards, there was an Independence Day deal.

The store lied when it came to holding pre orders. I recently went to the store asking for a specific Star Wars black series figure. The store said that they had it in stock but when I got there apparently they had it set aside for someone for over two weeks. I checked GameStops company policy and it allows them to only hold pre ordered items for only 48 hours which is obviously less then 2 weeks. In the end I feel like I got screwed over and lied to by the employee working there at the time. I’m only giving 1 star because the worker allowed me to pick any black series figure for 20% off but that still doesn’t make up for lying to a customer. I feel like 1 star is extremely generous but that’s my review. In the end if you hate getting lied to I wouldn’t come here.

Eh,its a gamestop,theres not really much I can actually say,they dont do trade ins of older consoles though,strange but what can you do,I wouldve probably gotten $15, 20 store credit,and a used bandage for an Xbox 360 knowing gamestop. Chill store though

Clean and well organized. Staff were knowledgeable, arguably overly knowledgeable and could probably simplify their explanations to start with. But knowing they have that level of knowledge was reassuring that the right items were purchased.

Too expensive. Not enough for trades. Only carry ps4 xbox one and up. High Score video Games in shakopee has everything from Atari to current and all their games are like $5 playstation store charging 19.99 for rainbow six Vegas 2 I got it done 6 bucks I think.

Went there just to look and end up finding some hard to find things, plus the manager was very helpful to me and another customer that was ahead if me. Really went out of the way to make sure things were good.

Absolute joke. Games priced for $20.00, head up to the counter and its $40.00. I ask why, prices on games fluxuate. No they dont. Charging $40 for 3 year old games pre owned while theyre listed at $20 is ridiculous.On top of that watched them offer $20 to a kid who brought in two controllers and 5 games that all came out in 2020 for trade in.

Would give them ZERO stars if possible!!! My husband and son were in there yesterday to buy something. They were told its on trade hold, but we will put your name on it and call you when its allowed to go out the door. I called back tonight to check. They sold it this morning. And the person I spoke to on the phone didnt even seem to care. My son was waiting ALL day for that phone call.

This place is a joke first we walk in and the employee was on the phone complaining about another employee... then that was for like 10 mins... me and my friend were shopping and were we heard the employee talking to customers about the person he was complaining about... SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL!!!! Will never be returning to this store, also the store was disgusting after waiting to be told that they don’t have something in stock. While looking for another store the employee comes out while caping just yelling and swearing on the phone.... don’t know if this gentleman should be an employee.... there is a time and a place for complaining and that’s not in front of your customers !!!!

Ordered a game from gamestop for pick up store canceled it and have yet to refund my husbands 80.00 gift card. Cant get ahold of customer service after 2 hour hold they disconnect the call immediatelythis has happened 3 times. Dont order from Gamestop their customer service is deplorable. The store refuses to help and just echos to call customer service. Never again gamestop I hope your company goes bankrupt at this point.

Ill be honest Ive tried to go here on multiple different occasions. No matter how many people are waiting in line there is always an unnecessarily long wait. I waited 39 minutes to even talk to a person and when I finally did he didnt listen to anything I was saying and even went as far as to try to sell me a completely different game system then what I originally asked about. There was one girl who walked out on her cell phone and messed around on the computer all while 1 person worked the register and she just walked away all while we watched her. Not even a sorry about the wait well be with you as soon as possible. I dont know just odd

Why does gamestop still exist? Staff was friendly and it was fun to look at some of the games on the shelf, but I could have gotten similar or better prices from my couch.I used to love gamestop because the trade in was worth it, but now I might as well hold onto the games I have.

Have always found the management at this location to seem very arrogant. If I asked any questions, I usually just got a glazed over expression and fake smile like they really didnt want to help me after asking if I needed it. Always feel like theyre wanting desperately to end the conversation. I always preferred the Shakopee store at Old Carriage Court. Very friendly there and eager to help.

I purchased an XBox 1s for their Black Friday special price at another GameStop location in Savage, MN. At the time, I did not buy the warranty. After 11 days, the Xbox just quit working. Thankfully, this purchase was still under a 30 day manufacturer warranty. But when I called the store in Savage, they referred me to the store in Eden Prairie as they were the only location that still had any around. After testing the XBox, they gladly exchanged my broken Xbox for the new, even though I did not purchase it originally at this location. My children were extremely grateful. They only odd thing is that in order to accomplish this, the manager needed to approve the transaction, and he kept going in and out of the store. So, the employee who was helping me had to help many other people, leaving me standing around for about 30 minutes until the transaction could be completed. They did let me purchase a warranty at that time, so I was quite happy with this. Other than the issue with the manager approving the exchange and the time that took, I was really happy with my experience.

Selection was very limited... could have been the post Christmas shock out... same was true for target. Stock of used games was very small and prices of what they had were high.

Some jackass that works here told me that if I uninstall 2k17 and redownload it it will keep all of my saved progress. Instead all of my months progress and over 20$ is down the drain cuz of some moron. I would recommend never calling in for any informational services.

I wanted to buy a new xbox from this location but everytime I call for availability (several days and many different times) I get a voice mailbox is full, the reps are busy message and it hangs up. I wonder if Best Buy or Walmart would answer the ☎
