I enjoy the Ray Catena MB Service Center. It has ample space to spread out. It has fast internet, free water and coffee. They try to get you out of there quickly when they dont have a loaner car to provide. When I have had tire issue they understand and get you in, even without an appointment. My only issue is sometimes its a 2 week wait to get an appointment.
This place use to be very friendly.Service: Use to bring in my car for service, now they changed the rules to only provide loaner cars only if you purchased the car from them. All other mercedes dealership provide loaner cars, so from now on servicing with them.Sales: I dont know if it has to do with the chip shortage but recently went there to think about doing a trade in, because of a mail they sent to me about trade in, The sales rep wasnt very interested in talking about the trade in, and felt indifferent about talking about purchasing a new car. It felt like if I didnt want the car right there, it makes no difference as someone else will buy.This is more about customer service going down. Hope this helps other ppl think about going to this place vs other dealerships.

I usually have an amazing experience here. But honestly this time around I accidentally left twenty dollars in a compartment in my car when changing a tire. I realized too late since my car had already been taken in for servicing, and figured I’d just leave it. I came back to my car and low and behold my money was gone. If someone needed that twenty dollars so hard, fine. Maybe you need it more than I do. But for Mercedes I’d expect a little more class from their workers.

Rays is the best! Friendly staff. Quality coffee + drinks for the customers.. They used to have a lot of food out but covid-19 put an end to that. Always a pleasant visit.
This location for service is super clean employees were very nice however after keeping my car overnight they could not come to an agreement with my third party warranty company they wanted a lot out of pocket when Im covered bumper to bumper Thats my only quirk here and a little upset that I had to take my car somewhere else to have a somewhat minor repair done
This was my first experience with Ray Catena Mercedes Benz service. And it was a very pleasant experience to say the least. Edgar was my service representative and his willingness to hear of my purpose that morning made me feel like I made the right decision to bring my vehicle there. He demonstrated a clear understanding of my cars issue and the wealth of information we exchanged reassured me I made the right decision to bring my Benz here.
This was my first experience with Mercedes of Edison and I can tell you my experience was fantastic. Particularly Mr. Tom Cola, the sales representative that I worked with. Tom was extremely helpful in helping me and my wife make a decision about which car to lease. We never felt rushed and he did everything he could to make us feel welcome and took the time to explain to us all the different options we had. He directly worked with my insurance broker to ensure all the paperwork was ready to go before we got there. It was such a pleasure dealing with Tom and I would encourage my friends and family to deal with him personally. Truly an amazing experience. I brought my car here and they told me they only needed to fix a scratch on my bumper. But then broke off parts from the bumper for more money from the insurance company. Kevin was not honest to the insurance company by telling them I needed a whole new bumper after he broke the part off my car. He was very unprofessional. He is in this facility but is really working for Quality Auto Body in Rahway. He ruined my car trying to make them money. The Part on my bumper that he pulled off, the manager Fred O was able to find right there in stock! Do not let Kevin near your car! BTW I still did not get my car back in the same condition as when I left it. He refused to fix what he had broken on my car. His only care was being anger cause they didn’t make the commission he would have if he was to replace my bumper.

Unfortunate experience. I call service center explained the issue with my Sprinter, used Mercedes roadside assistance, and they refused to fix it. Waist of time and money. Had to tow to an other shop. The service manager refused to talk to me.

I like much like some of the other people who left reviews am experiencing different treatment because i did not buy the car form them. When i purchased my car i lived in a different state so buying from them was never an option. Now that i do live in NJ i would never set foot in this dealership. I have owned many cars in my life and not all where highend however i would be given a loaner in any dealership without a problem. When questioned their policy i was told that this is how they control how much business they get. So i am happy to help by NEVER giving them any.

I decided to bring my Mercedes in to get serviced and despite the hundreds and hundreds of dollars I was spending on new tires and oil change, they refused to give me a loaner just because “I didn’t purchase the car from them”. I’ve never heard something so absurd in my life! I bring my car into other locations and it’s never an issue, always get a loaner. My family owns 3 Mercedes, but I’ll be sure to purchase all my future cars at any other dealership besides Ray Catena. Yikes!!!
I have been to this dealership twice for scheduled service over the last two years. Both times I was treated like a valued customer. My service representative was polite, knowledgeable, and efficient. I am happy to find a dealership with a service center within a reasonable distance from my home. I will be returning for future service for my Mercedes Benz.
I can only rate on the call. I am from out of town and felt my business was not important so, I canceled and went to a competitor. First Impressions, even over the phone are important to some.

Went there today to buy some engine oil and coolant liquid; was serviced by an employee name Dan. Dan, was very helpful and informative about specific information on my vehicle, that I havent had prior knowledge about.
I was quoted $600 for a repair, however when they received the replacement part they realized they ordered the wrong part and that the repair would actually cost $1800 with the right part. I told the agent Id have to think about it. This was at 8:30am and I was shocked the price tripled from the original quote. 9am I decided to just have it repaired and phoned in and asked to speak to my agent. My agent was busy so I asked the receptionist if she could have my agent call me back as I was hoping to have the car finished the same day. I was told to just leave a voice mail which I did. I never received a call back despite calling 3 more times and leaving another voice mail. The receptionists kept refusing to talk to my agent directly and kept insisting he would check his voice mail. Only after calling again at the end of the day and raising a stink did my agent actually get on the phone. By that time I was quite annoyed and the agent was not very apologetic so I decided to not have my car repaired here.Ive been coming here for the last 7 years and the service used to be better. Nowadays they are just too busy to provide the same service they used to. It takes weeks to get an appointment, they have trouble returning calls, and they seem to be too busy to figure out the correct parts and correct fees.

Before using Catena, dealing with car issues was a chore, now it is a pleasurable event each time..
If you didnt buy your car there they will not give you a loaner. Thats how all Ray Catenas MB are. I unfortunately had my car towed there and it was very stressful getting it done there. Its a big dealer and they just do not provide good customer service. They will not provide good service unless if you reach out a manager complaining.

Took my car for routine service at 8:30am and didn’t receive it back until 3 days later at 5:00pm. Poor communication and poor customer service which is a first for me with Ray Catena Service in Edison. Usually I receive a survey from the service department but since I didn’t I’m writing this review. I’ve been a customer for many years and I’m use to exemplary service from them. Hopefully someone will address this review and this concern so specifics can be shared.

I had a wonderful experience with Frank.Hes fantastic when handling the service on my Range Rover! Hes always friendly,honest,and accommodating. Its not often that you have excellent customer care now a days. Frank goes out of his way to you feel satisfied and comfortable.
This is one of the incentives of buying or leasing your car from Ray Catena, because service is great. Basically how it works is that you drop your car off into their garage and you inform the receptionist of your appointment. Why your car is being serviced, you can take advantage of the complementary sandwiches, beverages, and computer equipment while you wait for your car. One of the great things about Ray Catena service, especially if you buy or lease your car from them, is that you are entitled to free car washes Monday through Friday 8 to 4 p.m. However during the weekends, car washes are not free. I guess thats because everybody gets their car serviced on Saturdays and those who do, always gets their car washed.
Service advisor Mike Laudani is THE best! With this being my first Mercedes, I had so many questions/concerns. He took care of everything and kept me updated along the way. Overall great experience.. Thanks again, Mike!

DO NOT GO HERE! TAKE YOUR CAR ELSEWHERE. They claim that they are willing to help anyone with car needs and this is a lie. They discriminate on the basis of whether or not you have bought your car there and then decide how they treat you. Which is shove you to the bottom of list and give you attitude treating you like second class. Business is not business here and special treatment is given. This is not the first time, as they refuse to help in both emergencies and simple needs. Bottom line TAKE YOUR CAR ELSEWHERE.
Best time to go is around 11am. They have good pasta salad, wraps and sandwiches, good coffee, too. So the waiting wasnt bored.

Never had a worse experience, my salesman told us we would get 3 free oil changes when we leased our first ever INFINITI, we’ll let me say this will be our last INFINITY. First off had no idea where to go when I got to service after all the confirmation text and calls no one ever mentioned have to pull around to the garage area. When I told the service advisor about the free oil changes after making me wait 10 min to check the records he found nothing in the computer and didn’t waive one as a courtesy until I made a big stink about it. It should not have come to that. The service advisor also said we were not the first one who my salesman told this to so clearly we did not make it up. Thanks Ray Catena for an awful service experience and for caring about me as a valued customer. You can keep your mocacinos, muffins, mints and everything else. Oh and by the way when your service manager Shawn called me after I wanted to speak to him about my experience he was condescending and rude. I will go back to Honda they treat me better.
I basic service done. Dropped the car off with the convenient after hours drop off service. Picked up a loaner. I drove a CLA, they gave me an EClass, lol crazy. Received a call the next day, the car was ready. Pricey but its luxury so its expected.

The absolute worst customer service I ever received.Dropped my car off at 10:30 am for a simple oil change. Was told it would be 2 to 2.5 hours. Git a loaner and went on my way.Called Victoria at 1:30 to ask if the car was done and she said that it was still in the shop but would check with them and call me right back. Two hours later still you call back. At 3:30 I went to the service department and asked for my car. They got me Victoria and I asked why she hadn’t called me back in two hours and she said she didn’t have an answer from the shop but that it would be another 30 minutes. It wasn’t til I told her that this is terrible customer service that she apologized for not calling me back.She then comes back and tells me that her manager would like to talk to me. I go back to his office and he proceeds to tell me that they had an OSHA meeting in the middle of the day and it set everything back. I asked him why they wouldn’t call their customers and let them know that it would be longer than the two hours they claim it takes and he said, “ I guess we should have.” No apology, no offer of discount no warm fuzzy feeling...NOTHING!They charge $170 for an oil change and this is how one is treated?Simply a shameful show of disrespect.

My girlfriend bought a smart car which is owned by Mercedes. When you go here for service you are treated like a second class citizen because you didnt purchase a Mercedes. The number of times Ive heard the service people say oh well you have a Smart so...If Mercedes employees dont feel like they should have to sell or service Smart, maybe they should give that feedback to Mercedes corporate and have smart split off into their own separate dealerships.We are not wealthy by any means. We both make in the 50k per year salary range but I honestly dont spend enough time in the car to spend a boatload of money on a luxury vehicle. I drive an Elantra. Yes, a Hyundai. When I walk into my dealership my dealer and their employees treat me like I bought a Mercedes, regardless of the fact that I only spent 24k with them. Its a shame that the Mercedes dealers service center doesnt act the same way.

Dont use this service if you havent purchased your car at this dealership. I consistently receive poor service (dont return phone calls, no communication on status of service) when bringing my Porsche (purchased at another dealer). I also take my husbands new Cayenne for service, which was purchased at Ray Catena and dont have the same issues. Over the years, weve used the service departments at Audi, Princeton Porsche, Volkswagon and Chevrolet and have had a consistently better experience.

Ray Catena MB should also invest in a text message system, to keep clients up-to-date on the servicing of their vehicle. This is the first Mercedes I have ever owned new, I have been buying cars my entire life. I have had a total of 22 cars that I have bought and sold over the years. Ray Catena in freehold Has to be the best dealership I have ever had business with. As soon as you walk in the door, The two women in the front greet you with a smile. The sales staff is excellent and making in you feel welcome. They never talk down to you and they do everything possible to make you as comfortable as they can. I know at times I can be a pain in the butt but my salesman Bill Hoblitzell is one of the kindest sweetest men I have ever met in my life. He never once made me feel like I was beneath him but always as an equal any question that I had he would answer or he would find the answers immediately. It is because of him that I purchased my 2019 E 53 AMG convertible I had taken the car in for service one time just to have it checked out. Taylor in the service department also treated me with a higher level of respect then I have ever received from a car dealer. If anyone is in the market for a new Mercedes I highly recommend Ray Catina of freehold. Brought in new Cayman S for Car Connect installation. I was an hour early as coming from NNJ near NYC and was told no problem and was out in 25 minutes. They could have made wait for the original appointment time but didnt. As this was my first encounter with service department 4 🌟. Everyone was polite and professional, very important these days as many people in the service sector barely have the will to lift their heads away from the cell phone to acknowledge your existence.
Nice place, nice snacks, very friendly staff but.... I took my 2018 Velar there for yearly servicing and I was quite disappointed with the way it turned out. They kept my car for over a week with very poor communication as far as the status of my work and when I got the car back the tire pressure light came on within a couple of days and the coolant light also came on within a couple of days. Also, one of the recalls they were suppose to address (software upgrade) was not done correctly. It really made me wonder if anything at all was done to the car, and let’s add that I was charged almost $500. So I had to return the car for almost another week with the same lack of communication so they could actually do the work I paid for initially. Very dissatisfied.
I love getting service at this dealer. The staff treats you very well, there is plenty of opportunity to keep busy in the waiting area and the food they serve is plentiful. You should try it.
I have used Ray Catena Infiniti at Edision for a decade, the service was good and the customer service. I did not even purchased the car there yet, i was treated fine. when i bought a GLS450 out of state i decided to go to Ray catena Mercedes based on the good services i received from Infiniti. Firstly, i think the policy is not right for not giving those who does not purchase there vehicle through them loaner car, yet you want to take there money. It shows they are only loyal to those who purchased there vehicle through them and regard them as there true customers. secondly, my service adviser does not care at all, my car was not washed parked outside with my window down and my things inside, items couldve been stolen by anybody passing by. i went inside to see the service adviser after been dropped of by there nice driver, he was on the phone, i went to sit in the lounge or whatever they call it hoping he will contact me about the repair after done on the phone. i waited another 30min he did not show up. i proceeded to desk to pick my key. That was it terrible. Now i am going to Mercedes Benz of princeton .

Apparently I interrupted her whopper session as she was unhappy she had to put her sandwich down and tend to me the next customer walk in the door very ghetto and unprofessional not to mention her attitudeNot friendly at all I spend a lot of money here its not something that I appreciate and for the record I did not do anything to cause this I have never dealt with this particular one before maybe shes new but she needs to be retrained

Avoid this sexist garbage dealer! I Called up with my Vin number to get the part and labor pricing specific to my car. I Was told all the prices and was fine with it then my wife took the car in because I was working. The sexist scumbags changed all the prices....It more than doubled they also told her things that weren’t even bad needed to be replaced. Go somewhere else save yourself the money. We went to another dealer and they took care of the car for the real prices. I called several other dealers and they were all way lower. Ray Catena is a crook.

I sent my 2016 Mercedes c300 to ray catena service center for the repair the issue of unusual noise coming from the front of the vehicle while reaching the speed of 62 mph. The center charged me about 900 dollars for the reparation of under panels and handed to me on 20th of December in 2018. I was told the problem solved. However, after a few days, I found the unusual noise still exist and nothing changed. I talked with the service center and arranged an appointment in January of 2019 for the solution. While I arrived, the service engineer admitted that they didnt test drive the vehicle before handing to me. After one week, the adviser of the center told me the problem is because of the aftermarket windshield instead of the previous under panels and a replacement costs more than 800 dollars. Totally dissatisfied.
Very poor service! I leased a Gle 350 with them 1 1/2 year ago and my steering wheel is already peeling. After bringing the car for service I was informed by one of the advisors that the steering wheel wasn’t covered by Mercedez warranty. I asked to speak with the manager and the answer was, “the manager already saw your car and he is in a meeting he can’t see you.” Very disappointed with the service and the quality of the steering wheel.
On a recent Saturday night I had a flat tire on our GLC 300. I called Mercedes Benz roadside assistance and quickly found out that they were no help for a flat run flat tire. All they could do was suggest I could drive 50 miles at no more than 50mph, the problem was I was further than 50 miles from home. We called Tom Cola who was the sales person we bought the car from and who promised at the time of the sale he would personally help us with problems if we needed help, he, Tom Cola, was no help! Tom Cola is a skilled sales person who promises assistance at the time of the sale and then doesn’t hep when needed. So $112 lyft ride and $275 for the tire and no help if the dealership is closed. You take care of your life and your family and Ray Catena, Tom Cola will take care of your car Monday through Saturday evening. If you need help on Saturday after closing through Monday morning, YOUR ON YOUR OWN!!! Think twice before buying from Mercedes or Ray Catena Mercedes!!!!!!
It’s GLE 350, Suddenly the flat tire light came up and the air on all tires was showing up with numbers and the driver side rear tire has low air. I tried puting air and it worked.After few days it happened again, but this time no luck. I filled air but not working. There is no nail or leak. I took it to the service center and they checked for any leak, but they dint find any. Most importantly they weren’t able to find the reason for the light coming up. They just reset it and I left from there.Might not be a big issue, but not able to find the reason is something weird that too Mercedes. 🤔

Ive had my car for 11 months .. the sales department was great ... however anything wrong with the car they refuse to fix under warranty they sleaze their way into not fixing and telling you its your fault... every car comes with a warranty for the original tires in the owners manual the parts department said it wasnt true until i showed them and paperwork ... pirelli explicitly says any damage in the first year of having the tires even a nail in them is 100% covered for 12 months... the dealer called me a liar until i got pirelli on the phone and pirelli explained to them that they have to honor it and to just send the old tires back to them. they said ok on the phone than REFUSED to honor it after spending 5 hours in the dealership being jerked off... i have 2 years left on my lease and ive parked this car in a garage and will not drive it... am exploring legal options as well as other car dealerships to get out of my lease i will never drive or lease another benz again
My RRSC didnt start this weekend. The car had to towed in. I went this morning and met my service advisor Doug. He immediately assign the technician who took my vehicle inside, identified the issue and the car was ready within an hour, Thank you Doug for the help and fix my car so quickly. I really appreciate it.

One of the worst Jaguar servicing experience ever. I dropped my car at the dealership 2 weeks ago for issues related to the door handle on my Jaguar. Door had flung open on Tpke which makes this unsafe, and wanted Jaguar to fix this as it is a safety issue, nothing to do with wear and tear. This was an issue identified by the previous dealership at Langhorne when the car was under warranty but the problem persisted. When I bought the car in it took them 3 days to figure out what the problem is ( I am OK if they need time, keep me in the loop). Ray Catena said this is an issue with the latch, which i said OK to and requested them to work with my extended warranty company Fidelity. (ideally this should have been worked out with Jaguar i had escalated the issue up to them) Its been 10 days since then and despite several reminders there has been no progress with this. I fail to understand if this happened to anyone else what would they have done? Wouldnt you want the car manufacturer and the service center to take care of it ?? I am reporting this incident to NHTSA and let Jaguar and Ray Catena address this. Disappointed with Ray Catena for not working with Fidelity extended warranty and sending wrong information to Jaguar .
