Made an appointment on July 26, 2021 for a wheel alignment service, I chose the earliest appointment for august 6, 2021 7:30AM (well in advance) with the option of waiting. I received a text confirmation of my appointment and a phone call 2 days later confirming my appointment and asked if I had a ride or needed a ride. I told the lady that I would be waiting for the car, she replied that it would be 5-6 hours because they are very busy. I asked her how does she know they are busy 8/6/21 at 7:30AM? She said thatβs the average time right nowβ¦. I am confused as I know alignments are done on an alignment rack and if I scheduled the first appointment that my car would be on that alignment rack firstβ¦. I ended up telling her to cancel the appointment and would do it at another Porsche dealership.

Iβm sitting in this dealership for the 2nd time today. I got here at 7:45 am 1-22-21. Itβs now 1:40. I came in with a screw in my rear driver-side tire. I asked the service manager to check all the tires to make sure all are okay. I purchased a warranty when I bought the car certified in PA. 3 1/2 hours later the car is done and Iβm forced to pay $497.00 for a new tire covered under warranty I purchased but Iβm told I have to pay and wait to get reimbursed. I argue to no avail. I pay leave and stop to get coffee and see the screw is still in my tire. I call dealer told service is out to lunch. Be back at 12:30-1.. they changed the wrong tire passenger rear instead of driver rear. Report that was written up said driver rear so apparently tech made a mistake? Did he check all the other tires?? Iβm told they found nail in rear passenger so thatβs the one they changed. Bottom-line Iβm still here waiting for my rear driver-side tire to be replaced I got back to dealer at 12:25. Iβm sure I will have to shell out another $497.00 when cayenne is done and wait for reimbursement. This is a day I wish I stayed in bed. I read the reviews and all is well at this dealership service Dept for some. Not for me. I hope I make it home in time for dinner and I hope I get reimbursed on a prepaid tire and wheel warranty. What a trying experience this is..π₯Ί UPDATE!! I made it out of dealership at 2:20pm total cost for two new tires $1,001 which I should be reimbursed for by prepaid warranty
I called to confirm if they had the tires for my Cayenne in stock before I scheduled an appointment. They confirmed the tires were in stock and scheduled me for service. I go in for service only to be told the tires are not available.The service advisor Michael Indyk said they should have them later in the day but didnt know the time. I asked If I can get a loaner so I can leave my car there, he said he could not give me a loaner because I did not purchase my car from them (never heard of this before). He said he will call me later so I can bring my car in the next day to have the tires changed. I waited all day and no one called.I tried reaching out to him by the end of the day and the receptionist kept telling me he is with another customer and cannot take a call. I was finally able to reach him on my 4th attempt, now he said they did not get the tires and call back tomorrow. I wasnt going to deal with them anymore after wasting so much time.I called Princeton Porsche, they provided a loaner and took care of the tires the same day.I have received better service from Honda than Ray Catena Porsche. I will never go back to them for any service or purchase a vehicle.

I travel long and far to give Ray Catena my business. I would never go anywhere else. There are three dealers within five miles of me and I still prefer driving the sixty miles each way. They go above and beyond to satisfy their customers. Ive purchased seven cars and counting from them.

Made 1st appointment in morning, then 4 hours to check engine light and sensors. They dont have part til next day and charged$190. Been to several Porsche dealer service centers, none would charge this much in this situation. Staff and facility was very nice or would rate 1 star.

Ray Catenaβs Service center is the best! My advisor kept me well informed of the status of my maintenance and even called me after I picked my car up to follow up and make sure everything was ok. Friendly & Top notch! Wouldnβt take my Cayman anywhere else!
Never go to them for an in warranty service. They will charge you for some or the other stuffs. Porsche Edison NJ Ray Catena is pathetic.
