This pawn shop would not take my vintage accordion, but the man on the phone was very polite and helpful! He gave me some tips on how to sell it, and even pointed me in the direction of an accordion specialist. Very knowledgeable and friendly experience :)

These two brothers are awesome and good lookin I may add!!! Ive been going to them for years. Theyve even taught me how to sell my stuff on my own and stop taking a loss... They are very smart and they arent into scamming people. Theyve told me u can make so much more selling this on ur own. Theyre so honest and friendly. I came across this shop online and say they had a good machine, perfect for my needs. They worked with me and had it in their hearts to sell me this product at a MUCH cheaper price than its worth. These 2 brothers have been in this biz for over 8 years and their professionalism speaks for its self.

I recently went to the Union County Exchange with a vintage Rolex watch. After showing the man behind the counter the watch he told me that he could not determine if the watch was authentic. He then said that he was just a worker and that the owner would have to be the one to make the purchase. I was then told that he was on vacation and would not be back until the following week. I found out later that the man behind the counter was in fact the owner. Needless to say my experience at this establishment was very negative and found to be unprofessional. My thoughts are if you dont know your business that maybe you should start cleaning toilets for a living.

Before UCE, we both owned separate businesses.Anyone that has ever owned a successful business will tell you how difficult it is to earn a living being self-employed. Most, unfortunately, fail within the first year. Union County Exchange is going on its 8th year. Above all, we aim to treat our customers with the respect and attention we ourselves would like to be treated with. Besides being the civil thing to do, it also increases the likelihood of being recommended or having the visitor or customer return, thus enabling us to stay in business.With that being said, and to put it in the most succinct and direct way I can… you are a liar. You have never been to our store or at the very least, certainly never presented a $15,000 Tiffany Diamond/Platinum ring. Such an item, which we have never received in 8 years of business nor an equivalent for that matter, would be most memorable and yet, my brother and I have absolutely no recollection of you or your supposed ring whatsoever. And if we had, we certainly wouldn’t have offered $20, which frankly, is so preposterously out of line, I wonder if you considered amending your story immediately after hitting submit as to make it less infantile and more believable.The truth is, Ms. Forbes, it is people like you that should be jailed for defamation. As it turns out, you have posted similar negative reviews to other pawn shops in the area with whom I have spoken and likewise have no recollection of you. As such, we have taken the preemptive step of seeking legal counsel as slander, liable and defamation of character are offenses punishable by law.In conclusion, understand that your desperate attack will do nothing outside of ensuring that we, that is the collected targeted stores, will continue to prosper as we have for years due to our loyal customer base that know better than to believe the lies you submitted.
