First time shopping here since it was bought and changed over to new company. Employees were helpful, even at their Sunday 6pm closing time. Had the perfect odd bolt that I needed.

Big-R was a great store and I bought a lot of things there. As soon as they were sold and became Stock & Field things went downhill fast. Every time you went in there they had less and less inventory. This went on for approx the last 1.5 years they were open. When they closed I was not happy and missed them. They sell things other local stores dont and have better prices even if they do. When I found out they were sold and purchased again it was good news to hear at first. So far Im not really impressed with them dragging their feet restocking the bare store as it has been about 5 months and counting now. I hadnt been there in a few months to checkout how it was going and decided to go the other day to have a look. The sign and posted hours say closes at 7:00 PM. I walked in at 6:45 PM and was met inside the door. May I help you one of the employees asked me. I am just going to look around I replied. They promptly told me we are closed and gave me the eyeball to leave. So let me get this straight....you are closing at least 15 minutes early and kicking me out? 15 minutes is plenty of time to grab/find something and buy it. Its not looking really good for this new joint either so far. The verdict remains to be seen on this new place. How they are handling the restocking and things like kicking customers out early isnt a good way to get started. Ive probably spent over $30,000 in that particular store when it was Big-R and Stock & Field. Who am I....I guess?!

Clean, quiet and very well stocked. Only saw one employee and she was nice as she checked us out. We will return to this store.

Its not as good as Big R was. They are slowly getting inventory. I hope they can get it back. I get dog food and bbq stuff there. It used to be a good place to go get most things hard ware related.

Cashier did not ring up all my items so now I have to go back and pay.

Nice farm supply store. Also had snacks, clothing and boots.Appeared to be a little light on product of the farm supplies. Perhaps waiting on a truck ?Employees were polite and cheerful.

A wide variety of good things in Big R. Seasonal is in to the max. At this particular store they need more help or customers oriented reps to help so that customers can come in and go as fast as they can . I myself, was there for too long looking around for someone on the floor to help me out. I saw other people there trying to figure things out on there own as well.

Good place to buy boots.But no fitting rooms for clothes.

So, it turns out that they are open again under a new owner. The selves are a little bare but, what they do have is same quality products they had before and the same good service.

So glad it is back open. They are working hard to stock it. The staff were very friendly! I always find something to buy.

Little under stocked, revamping. found what I went for.

Good merchandise but even after an extended going out of buisness sale it more so than not is as if its been marked up not or on sale,And i night a sure with a13 dollar tag on it and went over receipt before leaving store at end of checkout counter and discovered i was charged 27 dollars for a due that was marked 13 before the closeout ssle price and was 100% told dirty all sales final,I wonder how many people they have chested like they chested meBusiness like that no wonder they filled bankruptcy,

Staff was friendly but its gone down hill. Almost nothing I needed to fix my lawn tractor was in stock. Most staff were barely 18 and had little knowledge of the products. I was able to find a man that pointed me to another store with the parts, so thanks to him!

I had a Christmas present that I wanted to EXCHANGE not return and they wouldnt do it. Big signs all over like they are going out of business. To bad I liked Big R

The store is closing at the end of March. They are running 10% off on most items right now. Even if it were 50% right now I feel they would struggle to move the remaining inventory. The store suffered during the pandemic but pricing has always been an issue and the pandemic did not cause that.

We found a wildlife block for a good price, and some unexpected snacks. The store is well organized and clean, and the two women who rang us up and bagged our stuff were really very nice.

Going out of business. Prices are marked WAY up and then discounted. Beware: some prices do not ring up correctly. I walked out when they screwed up my checkout.

They are going out of business and after seeing their prices, I can understand why. They have a 10% sale on everything (which is barely enough for a going out of business sale) and everything is still just as expensive as everywhere else. They also didnt have anybody around to ask questions to.

Great selection, a few items didnt have pricing so needed to bring them to front to get price, other than those couple instances no issues. If Ive ever needed assistance associates are usually easy to find and offer help if needed without having to feel youre being pestered or pressured if in the firearm/sporting goods area. Usually go to place for quick hardware items or some basic grocery items.

0 if possible I can see why they are going out of business. Super expensive stuff. None of the employees seem to care to help

Going to miss Stock & Field/Big R. All 26 stores in chain liquidating! Have heard rumors that Rural King may be taking over some S&F locations in future.

Very limited stock compared to what Big R used to have. Was disappointed in that alone. Staff was friendly at check out but very few and far between.

Went there to get spring water on sale.. Got nothing but attitude from 2 clerks. Didnt know when they would have it in or offer a rain check or anything. I dont see this place being in business long..Sorry this is meant for the Elkhart North store....

I see why there going out of business. You go in to buy something and either its not in the right isle or the price tag is for something different. Saw a lot of items out of place and inventory was lacking. Guess management wasnt around.

I go in their all the time usually nice people but today before I used up gas or a sales persons time I call in looking for a certain product and was rudely talked to on the phone by one of their employees to the point that I most likely will never return to this store ever again learn how to treat ur customers even when they call this is why I am giving a 1 star rating which I dont think they deserve that either

Since this place is no.longer Big R its gone down hill. You can no longer buy straw there.The overall inventory seems very low as well..I miss my Big R store

Oh my gosh. This place is huge... It carries everything you can think of. You CAN bring your dog inside with you and the workers there were so nice and friendly. Lots of great specials and sales going on right now. They have a huge section of toys for kids.... We for sure will be going back there. We really loved this place, so clean too. Lots of Christmas sales going on right now too. We really like the fact I can take my Service dog inside with me. He made lots of new friends. If could give more tge 5 stars we sure would. Cant wait to go back.

The staff is friendly and the store is clean. However several departments throughout the store have vast empty spaces. The ammunition and firearm selection was just downright depressing. My wife bought a Remington 870 super mag for herself. I went to buy some ammo and accessories for her shotgun, absolutely nothing. I had to outfit it through Walmart and Wish. Ill be hard pressed to come back.

Great bucket sale going on. You need it they got it. Lawn and garden season is coming up, and so is mothers day. Consider shopping with Big R and receive great customer service. They offer carry out assistants for heavy items.

Waited 30 minutes for an employee at the stock and field North location by the toll road finally left went to this one got a hold of Russ in the chainsaw department got exactly what I needed got great advice on how to maintenance my chainsaw and was in and out in 10 minutes great experience

Went in to buy a grill knowing that they are having a 20% of any one item sale but when I got to the register I was told that they are on sale for 10% off so they wont do the 20 % off any one item. So I told her I didnt want the the sale price just the 20% off any one item. Nope cant do it Im told. I have waisted way to much of my time and wont waiste anymore ever at this store that by the way is always half empty.
