I have met these guys on more than one occasion at car community events at their booth. They were very personable and knowledgeable. I planned to go there for an oil change on my recent purchase of a VW Beetle when time to, but time came sooner when my poor car left me stranded at work with a dead battery.The team was able to get to get me in the same day I called. My battery was tested to confirm the issue and quickly replaced. This is a great shop and if you own a high performance VW, Audi or other European car this should be your first and only shop. I was in Elkridge visiting when my check engine light came on suddenly. I called them hoping to just get diagnostics and a code read so I could get home to Northern Virginia and have the car fixed. They told me over the phone they could get a reading on it but wouldn’t be able to have an opening until next week. But, when I came in for the diagnostic, they were straightforward with me and told me exactly what needed to be done. They had the parts in stock and got it done on the same day within two hours. Their entire team is personable, professional, and really know their stuff. I highly recommend them to anyone needing service or tune ups done on their German vehicle(s). My car is now running smoother than when I bought it used about a year ago.

Great experience working with Scott and Megan at Deutschwurx! Called in a couple of weeks ahead of time requesting a weekend appointment to get a stage 2 pulley installed on my S4. I was thankful that they were able to accommodate my weekend appointment request due to having to drive from Northern VA and busy work schedule during the work week. Dropped my car off Friday night using the drop box. Got a call and email on Saturday afternoon saying the car was ready to be picked up. Smooth, easy, and quick quality service! Talked to Scott for a bit when I picked up the car, and he is a genuine guy and is very knowledgeable in tuning/modifying Audis. I also found that one of my plastic clips broke from the plastic shroud under the hood. Scott and Megan were able to mail me a new one from Audi so I did not have to drive back to pick it up. Awesome service! Will definitely be coming back to get more work done on my Audi’s!

Outstanding service and dedication to customer satisfaction. Been servicing my S4 with them for about a year now most recently with decarb service and new injectors. Top shelf is how I will describe my experience here. From the first email to the last text message ( that’s right text message) they kept me informed with all. Megan was my point of contact and she walked me thru everything. My son had his VW CC tuned, coil packs replaced and a new exhaust put on. When you get a quote from a VW dealership, make sure you check here for the same service while saving you $$$ they use VW parts my service included more info (like a obd read out for free) its a great place to get your VW serviced. Mind you I only had my brakes done but Im happy with the work and will go back for more wear and tear type service.

This was my first time using Deutschwurx and it was one of the best experiences Ive ever had with a repair shop. I was initially referred to them through a Facebook group for repairs on our Audi A6 3.0T but since we live in Virginia about 45 minutes-1 hour away, we opted for a shop closer to us.We recently purchased a VW Touareg which needed a front differential replacement - a big job which requires lowering of the subframe, and a rather complicated front-end alignment upon completion. The Touareg is a very complex vehicle, so it cant be trusted with a generalist. I received estimates from several VW specialists which varied wildly - some based on very high hourly labor rates, and others based on a high number of hours to complete the job. Deutschwurx was the most competitive for both hourly labor rate and hours required to complete the job - the latter I believe is attributable to their expertise and knowledge of my specific vehicle and the job to be performed. I was also installing a used (Customer supplied) part, and Deutschwurx warranted their labor on the install. Some shops (at least not the better ones) wont even install a used part, let alone provide a warranty on their labor.Communication with Scott and Megan was excellent from start to finish. They responded quickly to our initial quote request, they were always professional and thorough in their responses (no casual emails, as if communicating with a friend), they quoted the work accurately, and even arranged for after-hours pick up of our vehicle since we were coming from a distance. Weve only driven the Touareg for a day since the repair was completed, but the repair appears to have been performed incredibly well. We have an excellent mechanic nearby but candidly, we may consider making the trek to Hanover for future repairs. Deutschwurx is just that good.

I was referred to Scott by friends, and I am so happy I listened! I got the Unitronic Stage 1+ software put on my GTI yesterday and LOVE it! He got me right in and is knowledgeable and professional. 10/10 recommend- -will definitely be back!

Went a couple of separate times to have the Malone Stage 2 tune installed as well as BC Coilovers. The communication and professionalism was top notch the entire time. This is almost an hour away from my house, but I would choose these guys to work on my car 10/10 times. Hands down, the best. If you want work done the right way the first time, this is your place.

So glad I called Deutschwurx. Engine light came on so I took car to local Volkswagen dealership who told me I needed over $2K repair on engine for an oil leak problem with possibility of much more once they opened things up. I called Deutschwurx in advance, they said same work would cost $1K less, but they needed to analysis first and when they did they didnt find any leak problems. How can you not love this place (and never trust that local dealer again)? Had 50k mi service done and will be going back for all future maintenance and repair work.

Finally! This is what an honest certified professional with 30 years of experience looks like. Maryland has enough shady auto shops. This isnt one of them. When you see Audi R8s and Porsches in the shop, theres a reason; Scott is actually certified with the knowledge do dealership level work, at less cost, plus custom installs on any vehicle. I have an Audi A8 and I had originally went to the Audi dealership about getting front and rear brake pads. The quote was close to $4000 just to replace brake pads. I know my choice of car comes at a price but I was not prepared for that number. I got the information for Deutschwurx from a trusted mechanic that I have been using for years. They looked at my car and after diagnosing it, realized that it was just the brake pad sensor that needed to be replaced. Yes, the dealership was about to replace my pads unnecessarily. In total, I spent about $150 not 4K. I will be bringing my car back to them for any problems in the future. They ordered the part, had it delivered and had it installed while I waited in less than two hours. As a woman, you know how important it is to have a trusted mechanic because most of the time women get taken advantage of just due to lack of knowledge. Repeat customer for life!

Super straightforward, no BS type of shop, VERY good folks.. CAN’T HARP ON THAT ENOUGH.I came in with a vehicle vibration (Scott said it was a balance issue) from another shop & they declined my money pretty much so I could go back and get the shop responsible to fix the problem for free. After said shop didn’t fix it.. I took it to Audi & they diagnosed my s5 with having out of balance wheels/a bad wheel hub assembly.Audi quoted me 1600 for the fix after they balanced them, I said no obviously.. called Deutschwurx up for a quote & they said $500 installed (parts included). So I set that up, wheel hub replaced, but the new wheel bolts were too long we ordered.. hub threads got stripped out which Scott fixed same day so I could drive home.Then since HE wasn’t comfortable with the repair, he ordered a NEW wheel hub, bolts and did the repair for FREE. No more vibrations & my s5 is happy again. I’ll be taking my car here for everything now, from coilovers to performance parts.To Scott & everyone over there.. thanks for the great customer service & great care for cars in general. Peace.

I had heard about Scott’s work from a coworker of mine, I had recently picked up a turbo vr6 with a list of issues, from when I dropped the car off and when I picked it up is a night and day difference in the way the car is running and handling. Although the location is somewhat difficult to find and parking is scarce, the customer service experience at Deutschwurx is second to none. The turnover time and pricing was fair and reasonable. Make sure to book an appointment at least 1-2 weeks in advance because the shop is quite busy.

I had spent a few weeks calling around to find a shop that could install my CTS downpipe. Every shop kind of scared me off by showing a lack of confidence or knowledge over the phone. My car is my baby, and I am nervous of letting anyone touch her. A good friend of mine recommended Deutschwurx as they had previously installed a stage 3 clutch on his Golf R with no issue, and I was told that the final bill matched the quote he was given spot on. So I gave them a chance, got a more than reasonable quote, and dropped off my MK7. It took just a little longer than expected, and Im sure I bothered them calling so many times anxiously wondering how it was going and how much longer what if they accidentally scratch the car.. what if the downpipe rattles, what if I have an exhaust leak from improper install..Everything ended up just perfect. The final bill was very close to what I had expected. To any MQB platform owners reading this, Deutschwurx seems to be a safe place.. youll feel right at home when you see the parking lot full of beautiful VWs. Scott, I think youre a cool dude too.

One bad review never deters me from giving a company a chance. Im glad I applied my line of thought in this situation. You walk in and feel like one of the guys immediately. The shop is clean and so is the bathroom, unfortunately a rarity among auto repair shops. They had everything I needed in stock and were able to get my dogbone insert done in a timely fashion. I had to get out of there before I spent more money 😂😂. Definitely recommend their workmanship and will be back much sooner than I intended.

This shop was exactly what I was looking for. A auto shop that specializes in German cars. I just had an oil change in under an hour. Dont remember the last time that happened. And they were friendly, quick, efficient. I was a few minutes late to my scheduled appointment also and it didnt change the timing or anything. I recently purchased a 2020 Audi RS3 and was less than impressed with the performance it had to offer from stock. I contacted Scott, from Deutschwurx and promptly got on the schedule for a tune. He informed me that it would be beneficial for me to break in the car and get it over 1,000 miles prior to tuning the vehicle to allow for proper break in time. About a week goes by and I come in for the tuning appointment. We put a Unitronic Stage 1 tune as well as a DSG tune on the car that day. Scott was professional and prompt, he valued my time as much as I valued his which is what really sold me. To me, convience is everything and with my entire experience there was no back and forth, no gimmicks, and most importantly when I arrived he immediately began working on my car. I will 100% be back in the future for more power additions, as well as service work. I paid almost $3000 for Audi care and I almost immediately refunded it after meeting Scott.

I found myself back at Deutschwurx after facing several clutch issues from another shops install of my clutch. Unfortunately that shop did not stand behind their work and I was stuck looking for someone to fix my issues. I had decided to take my car to Deutschwurx again from my initial experience not to long ago. He quickly got my car in the shop and had diagnosed the faulty clutch install from the other shop. I had my car back in 36 hours driving good as new and for a price you cant beat! I highly recommend taking your VW/Audi to Deutschwurx for all your automotive needs.

Scott is awesome, really knows his stuff and always is able to be contacted not only to schedule but to also answer random questions I have about my VW. Even when I ask last minute for service he finds a way to squeeze me in.

Best shop in town to have your car, especially Audi, Volkswagen and Porsche serviced by an expert mechanic. Scott is fair and does excellent work. Has over 30 years experience and can troubleshoot a car to the tee. In the last couple of weeks he has turned my Audi A5 into a well oiled running machine. Services completed include walnut blast, oil change, replaced coil packs/spark plugs and flushed transmission and rear differential. He is also very knowledgeable with aftermarket parts and how to get your car running the way it should have came from the factory. From a cold air intake to complete force induction Scott is your man. I will definitely return for all of my service needs.
