My name is Marj Grainer and I rented a storage space at the Elyria Lake Ave address in October of this year. I made all of the arrangements with Alicia. I loved the storage unit for our motorcycle s for the winter. I have a Trike and found it hard to back my bike into the unit because of the steepness and cement lip. I spoke with Alicia and she located another unit that was perfect and assured us it would be the same special promotion price. We received our first auto deduct payment and I noticed the charge was incorrect. I called and left a message for Alicia. She got back to me immediately and said she would correct the problem. If you’re in need of affordable storage, I highly recommend to go to Protector Storage and see Alicia. She is very professional about the pricing of units and explaining the process. I used the outside storage for a spare vehicle and I had no damage or problems. The facility is in a great location and is protected by a coded gate and security cameras. Great job Alicia, if i need anything in the future I will be back.

Protector Storage is the old R&M storage. The new owners have put down a large concrete pad at the entrance off Lake Rd, also on either side of a new keypad activated security gate. No more potholes! They hired a professional, competent, courteous office manager, Diana, who does a great job! She immediately emails customers a receipt for their payments, or answers questions by phone or email. Overall the new owners have improved the place quite a lot, and continue to do so.

The folks managing this business were friendly, interested in what I was looking for and took me out to look the property over. They quickly answered my questions and wrote up my contract. They send a happy, friendly reminder that my payment is coming up and I have 24 hour 7 days a week access. I easily can reccomend anyone to use this clean, safe business

Great friendly service, the storage yard is always clean and usually not busy. I got a 12x40 I think it is, off them it was hard to find it, but they sent me a text with pictures of whats parked next to it so I was all set.Its currently expanding so if you were unable to get a storage room for your things, check back in a couple months.Nice Parking for vehicles / Boats / Trailers / Semi Truck(Cabs).Nice secure gate with coded access in and out.Easy payment options, including online which is nice if your out of town.Easy to get to.Discounts for recommending customers.

Alicia was a HUGE help in setting me up with two storage units for my move from VA to OH. She was always patient on the phone and worked through details of my move without hesitation. I almost never write reviews for customer service reps, but she definitely deserves a great review because she always goes above and beyond!

The prices cant be beat, the units have have nice tall ceilings, and the employees are nice and super helpful. We had a few storage units and also had a trailer stored outside. They have plenty of space to store trailers, vehicles or campers. If we have storage needs in the future Protector Storage is our go to place.

Protector storage is a great place to keep my personal belongings not only is the area secured by security gate plus a keypad entry and also has courteous staff on site so whatever I put in my storage I know its going to be kept safe the area is also clean and well-maintained

Service was prompt, application was easy to do. Process is good.

Storage shed is perfect for what I need it for.Not that I really care but why is the gate almost always open and also even after midnight when I came one time not sure the point of a passcode if its always open.

Purchased unit, promised gate security. Went 4 times, each time gate was always wide open. Not a secure place!!!!!!Unit door was always very hard to open, off track. No one around to ever fix. Promised twice it would be fixed. Almost month later, not fixed.When I decided to leave because of the above, they tried saying unit had water damage. I had nothing to do with their units leaking.Horrible place!!!!!!!I moved my items out when they had an employee there. When I asked unit to be looked at so we could square everything up, she said it was her time to go (5:43pm...they close at 6pm). Next day said unit had water damage. Didnt even rain after I left. Rained 2 hours before I removed my stuff. LIARS!!!!

Protector Storage is an excellent place to where you can store your personal items. I give them five stars.

I am so grateful and thankful for getting help today,not only were they able to work with me,but she actually took the work truck and helped me move to a diff.unit.I also would like to add,I was very rude to the employee there,and she was very professional.I recommend this place for storage units.I am a single Mom,and usually dont have time to rate a place,but I have been using this place over a year,and have always been treated very well

They dídnt snow plow. Inaccessible storage in the winter. Caused alot of issures wouldnt come back. No thanks.

Jian Yang, the owner/operator went way out of his way to help us and we highly recommend him for this. Were in Miami/FL and had to remove a fire truck from government property in Tiffin/OH at very short notice. Jian found us a driver who managed to pick up the truck on the very same day and subsequently park it at Protector Storage, in Elyria/OH. Our thanks to both Jian and driver Mark J. Plas!! And mind you, this in cold/snowy winter. Wonderful persons.
