From the initial meeting to giving us a great price, helping pick out a beautiful stone that would work with our current colors and constant communication that lead to a beautiful finished product that we love! What a terrific job! Curt was knowledgeable, patient and understanding during our kitchen remodel. From picking out the perfect slabs for our kitchen to accommodating last minute changes on our order. The Granite Guy gave us a great quote, the process was smooth and expertly done. The kitchen was templated within 2 weeks of the granite selection, and installation was scheduled immediately. The installers were fantastic, paying attention to all the little details and worked well with my other subcontractors. I was able to save some money and get exceptional kitchen my family desired. We had priced out granite at several places, but once we found the Granite guy we knew this is where we would buy and recommend to everyone we know. Their prices were near half of anywhere else wed shopped, but this does not mean the quality and attention to detail was not present. The personal service we received from everyone who is employed here was exceptional!! Curt and his team were flexible on scheduling measurements, and the install team was meticulous and clean. Outstanding job from a company who cares about their final results after the job is done.

Curt Ryan saved my kitchen remodel when the original granite contractor disappeared. He picked up the materials, fabricated, and installed my kitchen in short time and did so graciously. He even showed up to my small claims court date in case I needed a witness against the original contractor. I’d hire him again in a second.

The process of loading the dimensions into their computer program and making the necessary adjustments to ensure a correct fit was very cool to say the least. We had an unfortunate experience of hiring a dysfunctional general contractor to remodel 3 bathrooms. Fortunately, when that GC wouldn’t pay The Granite Guy directly, I was able to establish a direct relationship. The granite turned out beautifully in all 3 bathrooms and was one of the bright spots of the entire project. The cabinets that were purchased through The Granite Guy were heaving damaged by improper assembly, performed by unqualified subcontractors the GC had hired. Curt personally came to my house to correct them (as much as possible). When the contractor was terminated, Curt helped me hire the proper resources to complete the project. He went above and beyond.Our next project will be a complete kitchen remodel and we are looking forward to working with Curt and his team again.

I have been searching for backsplashes for my bathroom vanity for quite a bit. I saw an ad they posed on face book and asked if the cut to size that I only need two pieces. They have been nothing but helpful. They help you out even you have a small job. Most places did not want to bother. I am very pleased with their work. I highly recommend them.

Couldn’t be more please with our new kitchen. From our having trouble make a stone choice to our questions about sink choices and faucet space (yes we had many crazy questions) every question was answered with courtesy and patience. Doing this over the holidays caused a delay but job was still completed on time and the installers were quick, clean and extremely professional. If we could rate higher we would but at least we can say 5+ stars. Granite guy and staff a Hugh thank you.

This is a great company with even better product. I recently got a tour of what was a surprisingly high tech facility for what I though was a low tech product. My experience was top notch and the product was beautiful. I would recommend Curt if you are looking for a high end product. You can get cheap work done anywhere.

I asked The Granite Guy to make me a custom shower bench seat. I was able to pick a granite remnet on site that fit my color skem. The slab was sold to me at a completely affordable price. The seat came out amazing. They had the seat done for me within a few days. I am completely and utterly happy and thankful for their business.

We initially contacted The Granite Guy several months ago for a remnant; unfortunately there was nothing in stock that met our dimensions. Having forgot we even submitted a drawing to these guys, Kurt called us back asking if we were still searching for a remnant. We ended up with a fabricated piece of granite for a great price. We did the install ourselves, but the fabrication team here did a great job! Curt even let us borrow his A-frame to get the granite safely home.This piece of granite was the last bit of our kitchen remodel and sits beautifully on a window sill. If ever we need a piece of granite again, we will be returning here! Thanks Kurt and team!

If there was an option for zero starts thats what i would have chosen. Like previous reviews they are extremely disorganized. horrible communication. no one knows what each other is doing. my original estimate was lost so they had to redo it and the estimate price varied between the two of them. DONT USE THIS COMPANY !!!!

We were very pleased with our experience. Curt is very knowledgeable. The price was right for what we were looking for and the turn around time was very reasonable.

On time with calls and work, very gone d workmanship, clean and neat, very friendly and upfront.

Lets start with scheduling they are horrible . Couldnt give me an exact day for the instal not to mention time. The granite was ok the instal job horrible. The island top almost fell off. Two other tops were loose. Maby they were trying to save money on glue. Verry sloppy job. You get what you pay for. I would not call theses guys.

I met an employee of The Granite Guy at the Denver home show who was very helpful, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I sent a follow up email in October to see if we could get our counters installed before Thanksgiving and received a response from a project coordinator named Aimee who told me that deadline wouldn’t be a problem. Aimee and owner Curt Ryan put together a contract, which I agreed to and signed. After signing the contract I had much more interaction with Curt and every conversation seemed to turn into an argument.In order to stay on schedule I paid a rush fee to have our granite slabs leathered and they were back in Curt’s shop within 48 hours, however Curt was still unable to meet the Thanksgiving deadline. Curt then broke one of my slabs and sent it back to be re-leathered 6 weeks later, but still charged me for the rush fee. The initial installation wasn’t completed until 6 weeks after the deadline and during this delay Curt seemed to become angrier by the week. At one point he sent me an email accusing me of ‘verbal abuse’ and demanded that I pay him $8,000 cash on completion of the job, even though our contract clearly stated several forms of acceptable payment.After the installation was complete, it became immediately apparent that the granite shelf behind the sink was installed with too much overhang making it impossible to install a faucet. Curt insisted that this was ‘standard’ and refused to come back and repair it. He then accused me of harassing his project coordinator for mentioning the problem. I’ve had two separate stone fabricators come to my house and they both agreed that the shelf was installed poorly and needed to be corrected in order to install the faucet, still Curt refused to stand behind his work and left me without running water in my kitchen for 2 months.Eventually I disputed the labor charges with my credit card company because I did not have a working product. After submitting all communications with The Granite Guy, our contract and a quote from another stone fabricator, they attempted to contact The Granite Guy to see if the matter could be resolved. When no response was received from Curt Ryan after several weeks of attempting, the amount needed to repair Curt’s work was refunded and we were able to have another contractor finish the job.During the course of this project I accepted missed deadlines, cancelled appointments, undisclosed price hikes, and accusations of fraud and abuse from Curt Ryan. Of course I wasn’t happy about this, but I accepted it with the hope that the final product would be worthwhile. In the end I was left with $8500 ‘custom’ counter tops that were installed in a way that would not accept a faucet and a contractor who refused to honor his installation warranty.I’ve spent the last 12 months renovating my home and have worked with roofers, excavators, plumbers, electricians, painters, ect.. Curt Ryan aka The Granite Guy is the most unprofessional, argumentative, and dishonest person I’ve ever dealt with and I wouldn’t recommend him for anything.
