Dr. Feehs helped me to be 100% free from my Pulsitar Tinnitus. He is an excellent surgeon and I had absolutely no pain afterwards.
Warning! DO NOT PATRONIZED THIS PLACE!!! A $45 cab ride afforded me a receptionist who became judge, jury & executioner. Walking three flights of stairs, being scorch by the unforgiving sun, causing a tempature of 101.??, not allowing my along waited appointment, of which I prepared 15 gruel pages of very castigating questions about my medical insurance. The final statement being: we do accept cash. I was in great pain with my ear, not being treated as they insisted that I had covid 19.The past month I TEDTED THREE TIMED NEGATIVE! When I arrived home another $45 cab ride, my brother took my temp & it registered a booming 97.8I Left them with one final thought: Zombies only eat brains, however they have nothing to worry about
Went here for ear pain, the doctor saw nothing wrong but used a vacuum in my left ear to get some ear wax out. Ear seemed fine and then next day and days after my left ear felt plugged like it wouldn’t pop and when I tried to plug my nose and equalize I felt air coming out of my ear like it’s now perforated. When I called to be seen by the same doctor they told me he had no availability and they’d have his assistant call me who never called. Now I have to call my general doctor to see what’s wrong.
Dr.Feehs has not only wonderful bedside manners, but is equally professional and knowledgeable. He removed a benign tumor from my 84 year old mothers ear. This is a great doc.
Great helpful staff, easy to get to with parking. Fast test results. Takes a variety of insurance including Medicaid.
Spent ONE HOUR in the room without any attention. No apology, no refund. TERRIBLE “service”!
Disorganized, discourteous, unprofessional.I dont write reviews often, but since the quality of care has changed drastically at Denver Ear Associates I felt like it would be helpful to prospective clients.I will start with non-objective complaints and then express my feelings afterwards. Following my initial visit and tests the Dr. said that he would want to try me on a couple of prescriptions but that there were more tests to be done and that some prescriptions might interfere with test results. I was given a prescription to start right away (a steroid) but he didnt clarify if I should actually fill the other prescriptions and start taking them, or wait until after the tests, or until he evaluated the tests or if I would ever definitely be on the remaining prescriptions. When I called his office for clarification, they were as confused as I was and told me they would contact the Dr. and call me right back. Two days later I called again to more confusion and another promise that they would call me back. They never did and I found out by a surprise call from my pharmacy that DEA had sent the prescriptions to be filled... even though I was not supposed to be taking them yet.The billing is unorganized and error-prone. My insurance company has been billed incorrectly and then resubmitted to until they are charging me additional co-pays out of confusion! The DEA office sent me to get an MRI, and set up the appointment for me. When they set up the appointment the MRI office explained that there would be a -very- large co-pay (they gave the estimated figure to the DEA representative on the phone) and explained that I needed to be ready for that when I went for the MRI. DEA did not relay that information to me and I was quite surprised when I got to the MRI office. On multiple occasions I have been double-billed, and not billed and there seems to be very little consistency as to billing in general. Even the billing department is confused when I call in with questions.I would like to say that the DEA staff in charge of actually issuing ear tests and balance tests seem wonderful. Extremely capable and experienced, they give a feeling of confidence and concern which is most appreciated by anyone in the rather frightening position of potentially losing all sense of balance and hearing. Now for the subjective portion of my review:Years ago I had a wonderful experience with Denver Ear Associates, and have been recommending them where appropriate ever since. At the end of 2015 I started having vertigo and constant ringing in my ear so naturally went back with high hopes. My first impression this time was an extremely snide and grumpy receptionist. My only consolation while spending time in the waiting room was that I could see that he was dreadful to everyone and not just me. I chalked it up to him having an extremely bad day (In subsequent visits I have determined that this is his default attitude). The physician I had dealt with previously was no longer there, and the new Doctor made me feel as though he really didnt have time for me (which seems odd given how much the visits cost). In addition to that, I felt as though he would not listen to my concerns but rather was just giving me a rehearsed diagnosis. Most patients with my condition are chiefly concerned with the vertigo, but I am a professional musician and am chiefly concerned with the loss of my hearing. Even in subsequent visits he really only has any concern for the vertigo and does not address my hearing since (as he mentioned in my last visit) my condition wouldnt allow him to prescribe expensive hearing aids. Something about the way he said that led me to believe they make their bread and butter on prescribing hearing aids and try to do that whenever possible.Perhaps if all you need is to get hearing aids prescribed, and you dont mind fighting with inexplicable billing and errors submitted to your insurance, Denver Ear Associates would be fine. As I mentioned before, the staff actually issuing hearing and balance tests are top-notch.
I speak and deal with a lot of people/Dr s I this office they are all good and help take care of people. Dr. Nickel can work on being on time
Long wait, but I had a rather urgent issue and they were able to provide me medical treatment the next day. Were able to provide me with sample ear drops for quick relief. Very kind staff.
Good, knowledgeable doctors and staff. The main issue (and its a long-standing one here) is that Dr. Muckle cant get in the office in a timely fashion. For future ear cleanings not requiring a doctor, Ill be seeing the PA to get in & out in a timely fashion.
I was refereed to DEA for cochlear implant surgery. I have been very impressed with the office, audiologists and surgeon. Everyone is nice. The office runs on time. All of my questions are answered and I never feel like Im being husseled out the door.
They only reason I am giving three stars is because of two things: The front office staff needs to work on being more friendly with people. To make me sound like an inconvenience for checking on my sons appointment is rude. I have never once had my appointment start on time, and Im talking waiting an additional 45 mins to an hour after my appointment time before finally being seen. I LOVE my sons doctors, but honestly my patience is wearing thin....
Dr. Feehs and staff are wonderful to work with, very caring and knowledgeable about the field and the latest devices.
They help you get to the bottom of your hearing concerns.
Great Dr and great office - from the excellent treatment provided by the Dr. to the efficiency of the office staff to my appointment being on-time. great experience!
The doctor I had he was awesome I highly recommend this place
Im no better than when i started seeing them actually doin a little worse.hmmmm so unincouraged at this point.
The staff is friendly and Dr Muckle knows his stuff
Dr. Muckle is one of the best in his field. I have seen multiple ENTs throughout the years, and every one of them concluded my hearing was going to remain poor, and my ear was in as good of shape as could be, given my history. Dr. Muckle was the first to ever look in my ear and tell me that he could fix my hearing, fix my pressure problems, and leave minimal scarring. He is not the most punctual of surgeons, but he knows what he is doing better than anyone else Ive ever met. Ill happily wait for an appointment with him any day over seeing another doctor more promptly. Hes friendly, answers all questions, takes his time with his patients, and he has amazing staff members. I recommend him to everyone I know with ear problems, and I trust him to do his job well.
Dr. Zeitler is the bomb. He is a fantastic doctor, but the support staff with Denver Ear Associates is so bad, that not only will I never go back, but my mother and my friend who I referred to Denver Ear are also not going back. Every experience with the support staff is like bashing your head against a brick wall. Calls are not returned, messages bumbled, etc.We asked for an estimate in February for a Cochlear implant for my 79 year old mother, and four months later, still no estimate. I have called 5 times now, left voicemails, messages, etc. Still cannot light a fire under anyone. I even tried calling Dr. Zeitler, but the messages dont seem to make it into his hands, or he does not choose to engage, not sure which.Done with them. Its unfortunate, because I really do think the doctors here are great.
Insanely over priced and terribly inconsiderate. Litterally took 3 minutes to clear an obstruction in my ear and they charged me over $300. That was after they made me wait in the second waiting room for over 45 minutes. Dont waste your time or HSA.
Dr. Esses misdiagnosed me, I had a tumor that was indicated in the MRIs and Cat Scans she ordered but for some reason she reported to me that the tests were normal. It wasnt until my symptoms got worse that the mistake was finally discovered.I was referred to Dr. Esses because she was supposed to some expert. She did a thorough exam, ordered all the tests etc. She called and sent me a letter saying my MRI and Cat Scans were normal and that I just had tinnitus from chronic ear infections and hearing damage from loud noises and referred me to see another Dr. for migraines for the headaches and dizziness. I proceeded to go to Dr after Dr trying to be treated for the headaches and nothing was working. Each Dr. saw that Dr. Esses bad reported back normal tests so they did not question it. After a while, Dr.s started treating my like crap. For years symptoms got worse, caused me to fall a lot so I was constantly getting hurt, my headaches and dizziness were so bad I eventually had trouble working, I had anxiety and depression from the chronic pain, I was put on medications that made me worse because Dr. s were just trying to write me off. I eventually couldnt work, lost my insurance and went bankrupt from medical bills then almost died when my liver started to go out from all the aspirin I was taking. I went from a functioning healthy, happy young woman with a great career, money in the bank and my own home, to someone who couldnt even get out of bed. Eventually I lost everything, and I had to move home to my parents. Being in a new state, no one new Dr. Esses which was to my benefit. My family Dr. decided to repeat the tests which were abnormal, then he ordered the actual reports from my old tests and discovered that they were also abnormal. He requested my records from Dr. Esses and saw the letter and reports she sent to the Dr.s which all said NORMAL.I dont know how this happened, I can only try and warn people in general and tell you that if you have tests and they report to you it is NORMAL dont just take their word for it, ask for the radiology reports and look yourself. Or insist they are repeated, do not let anyone tell you otherwise. I find myself fortunate that the type of tumor I have is slow growing and benign, had I had something more serious I could be dead. But its still very hard for me to look back at what I lost, the years of suffering and being treated terribly, simply because someone made a mistake.
I am very upset with scheduling in this office. my mother had a 1 pm appointment and after waiting for 2 hours there, they inform her that her time was moved to 2.30. we never was advised of this before our apt.my mother is 83 yrs old, i think this is not at all very professional.
Basically was told they couldnt do anything for my problem until I was off antibiotics and it came back then they could check again.
I whish they would get it done all at one time.
I was expecting more!
