I love this place! I called this morning with a problem with my phone that was caused by a different repair shop. Travis was understanding of the situation and very friendly! He estimated the repair time at 3 minutes but it was less! I expected the cost to be in the 100s but it was less than $35. I was so impressed and relieved. Bought phone a year ago. Phone stopped working. Brought back for diagnosis. Told it needed a battery. I had them replace battery on Monday. Got home and wife advised not taking a charge. Went back on Friday and was told now need to spend another 75usd for a charging port. Shud have been told I need to spend 150 to fix, instead would not take battery back nor make it right. It is like paying for. Car repair and going back when the car does not work and need to pay the same amount again for wrong diagnosis. This is terrible service and wrong.

My iPhone 6 battery was shot. My phone wouldn’t hold a charge at all. I took it to Tru-Tech and talked with Travis. He checked it out and confirmed I needed a new battery. He quoted a very reasonable price and said he could have it ready in about half an hour. Even with other customers coming in he had it ready in under 30 minutes. Service was great and Travis answered all my questions. Great guy. Thanks Travis.

I noticed my phone wasn’t staying charged for very long. I took it to Tru Tech Cell Phone Repair to find out my battery was very weak. I cannot leave my 94 year old mother alone for very long. I called to let them know about my time restrictions and the problem that I was having with my charging port. I wanted to know about how long it would take for a new port. He said that it might need just a port cleaning. (I was sure he was wrong because the port was loose and the charging cord could not stay in the port.) Well, he cleaned the port and kept pulling out pocket lint. I couldn’t believe how much pocket lent was in that phone. I did not need a new port for $64. I just needed a cleaning for $14.95 and I bought a case that keeps the lent out of the phone! Kevin is fantastic! He did not have as big a sale but he has a lifetime customer in me.

My son went to get his phone fixed. They told him come back in 30 minutes, and it was fixed. Very reasonable prices, friendly and very professional.

*WARNING * WARNING * this place does not honor their refund policy. this place is a scam. I took my iPhone sx max 256g in for a cracked screen and they couldn’t fix it right. It kept over heating and cutting out. The tech tried to tell me sometimes phones do that until she actually felt the degree of temperature coming from my phone. He bragged about it only taking 20 minutes to fix it but I don’t believe e actually tested it. I went back numerous times and he even tried to replace it with his own personal phone screen as a replacement. $279 for a new screen and $130 for a battery. He refused to give me my refund I told him to keep the battery and screen, you can go on amazon and buy the same screen for 120. He said he couldn’t give me my money back but couldn’t tell me why I ask about his policy on refunds and he said it was on their website. He didn’t know. He wouldn’t give me his supervisors number or name and in the end in order to make me leave they called the police where I was threatened to leave or get hit with a criminal trespassing charge. Thanks a lot true-tech. This is how you treat a Iraqi war veteran? I would not recommend you take you phone to this place of business. They are incompetent and careless.

After replacing the screen with more expensive issues likely in the future, it was agreed that further work on the unit would not be economically feasible. So tru-tech in Ennis talks about customer satisfaction. They completely messed up my $1000 phone and the only answer I can get is “sometimes smartphones do crazy things like this” and “We don’t know how that could’ve gone wrong”.My speaker phone was working just fine before they replaced my back glass. I even made a phone call on speaker in their parking lot before bringing my phone in.I leave the store after getting my back glass fixed, and no one can hear me on speaker phone anymore.No answers, so solution, and no refund. I’m all for supporting local businesses. But not when you don’t have a solution for your own mess up.The only point he could really make was that it “looks better” than it did before it came into the store.$120 to replace my back glass and now I can’t be heard over FaceTime, speaker phone, or in videos (for example Snapchat). As a mother of a 2 year old in the middle of social distancing... things like FaceTime, videos and phone calls are much more important than the physical look of my phone. Regardless of my life outside of their store, I’m a paying customer who was definitely not taken care of to the best of their ability. Any good customer service rep knows that “I don’t know” is never an answer.

But please go look at my ratings on google and read them. I make sure my clients feel that if they were offended by our services that we resolve the issue before it gets out there. I’ve read your customer comments and all you did was pass the buck on them. To me this is poor management. I believe we have a few negative stars but I also understand we can’t make everyone happy.
