My email with two simple questions was ignored. The product was fine but I was not told that it would be easily damaged by Sun which evidently it is and its going to be in front of a slider door. The installer gave me little one inch pieces of metal in between each room. He installed them poorly so when I ask for a redo they gave me the proper ones which look a lot better and covered a big problem that obviouslyhe didnt care to cover with the small ones or talk to me about.The installer did a care-less low-skilled caulking jobof almond caulk on dark flooring which looked awfuland had flaws where moisture would get in and moldand bacteria would grow. They offered to redo it but he was just going to use the same method with his finger and the same tube, not acaulking gun, so I asked for the tube and I still needto get around to doing the completion of the job myself.

My new carpeting looks great! The crew that installed it was very professional, prompt and efficient.My contact with the staff at Gardner was polite and professional. I would recommend Gardner to anyone.Thank you.

I was very happy with my whole experience at Gardner. I went to two other carpet places first and was not impressed by the sales staff. Aowyn (sp?) at Gardner steered me right away to the appropriate carpet. I liked the color that was on sale and when it turned out that the sample was mislabeled she gave me the sale price anyway. Her advice was very good when she did the home visit. The installer Cary was excellent and both he and his assistant were nice people. And the whole thing ended up costing me $600 less than the quote I got at another store!

After several weeks of looking for a transition piece between which was an irregular line of flooring, I found someone to help me at Gardner. He explained how the transition strips would work with a curve and gave me advice on how to install it that would work. My order came and quickly. I took it home and it looks great!

Great selection and--even more important, to me--great customer service! I was looking for a small amount of a hard-to-find item, and needed it on a tight schedule. This was kind of a tall order, and I was calling all over the Pacific Northwest trying to find the item in stock. First of all, they were the most accommodating and helpful of the more than half a dozen stores I talked to. (I got the feeling from some of the places I talked to, that they didnt really want to mess with such a small order. The folks at Gardner, on the other hand, made me feel like a fully-valued customer, despite the small size of the order.) Secondly, they had a FAR better selection in stock of the type of flooring I was looking for than even the stores in Portland and Seattle that I spoke with. Very highly recommended!
