Every time I walk into McWilliams Vision Care, I feel so safe and welcome! I love Dr. McWilliams and all her staff! I also love how Dr. McWilliams will show you pictures of your eye, so you can see what she sees and explain anything that you need/want to know. My favorite part is picking out my glasses frame, because the lady that helps you (I cannot think of the lady’s name that helped me) is really honest about making sure the frames you choose are the ones you love and to see if they look right on your face, because everyone has different head shapes. I honestly hope I never get a different eye doctor again, because she is the best!

Dr. McWilliams is amazing! She diagnosed and treated our son after years of trial and error by other doctors. She explained his condition in simple terms and helped us find the right way to solve the problem. She is knowledgeable and up to date on the latest research. We have lived in several states and she is BY FAR the best eye doctor we have ever had. When we told her we were moving again, she researched doctors in our new town and provided us with possible contacts. My son asked if we could just take her with us! We will surely miss her.

I had visited several places that day looking for a certain brand of glasses. Everywhere I went people were so rude. Last stop I told my mom over rude people. To my surprise as soon as I walked in the door they were all so happy!!! They did carry the brand I was looking for but not the style. Asked why I was looking for that brand. I explained and was asked was I willing to try a different brand with the same quality as I was looking for.Long story short I did and I love them. I had the greatest experience. Finding professionalism nowadays seems way harder than it should be in today’s world, but at McWilliams I got nothing but professionalism which really made me love this place. The staff was super nice and friendly not your usual stuck up individual sitting at a desk not wanting to do their job that you seem to find most commonly than not. When I arrived I was greeted with a nice greeting and they went straight to taking care of me. Every question I asked was answered and no one took short cuts in anyway to make their job easier everyone stayed on task and really made me feel welcomed. I recommend this location to anyone. First time visiting McWilliams Vision Care. I had great experience. The State of the art office has a knowledgeable and friendly staff. Dr. McWilliams spent quality time with me explaining and answering all questions in layman’s terms. She exhibited attentiveness and professionalism throughout the visit, while making me feel welcome to her practice and comfortable while conducting the examination. Filling out the pre-visit paperwork on-line ahead of time was convenient and made the visit a breeze.

My first time with McWilliams and I loved it. Everyone treated me so kindly. All was explained in detail on my exam. Glad I found a excellent eye care facility.

Dr. McWilliams has the absolute bedside manner. She met us at check in to walk us to the exam room, explains things clearly to both myself and my child (the patient) and allows time for questions. She sent follow up materials and walked us all the way tot he front door at the end of our appointment.

Most thorough eye exam and everyone there seems to go the extra mile to ensure that you receive the attention needed to help keep your eyes healthy and i can actually see with my new prescription. Dr. McWilliams is absolutely the best!She has all of the state of art equipment to monitor and quickly catch all anomalies or problems as well as find the best regular line of glasses and contacts. She was able to see a problem during a routine eye exam on my daughter that resulted in us being able to get medical intervention early due to Dr. McWilliams catching it early. My whole family loves their eye dr visits.

Just tried to make four appt for myself and children and was informed that we missed two appt. And could not schedule a appt we are now considered a walk-in basic when I provided statements that appt were CANCELLLED bc of quarantine BOTH APPT WITH A 48 HOUR NOTICE. I know the actual Dr would not be happy about how her staff just talked after a hold she came back and said yes maam I see where the quarantine papers were sent in but Im sorry you will have to just call and give us a,, shout and see if we can work you in Well for starters I am a single mom with three kids and run a salon thats 9 girls understaffed we will find a new eye Dr.HIGHKY UPSET IS A UNDERSTATEMENT THE DR IS AMAZING!!!So now I was informed that you dont keep documents of covid but both missed appt were in bc of covid quarantine and I provided the documents from mater dei along with deaconess stating we had a quarantine. I was told on the phone yesterday they actually had that information. But again thank you Brittany you are a amazing person and Dr. M

Hands down, the best experience Ive had with an Optometrist! Dr. McWilliams took her time with me and explained everything down to what we were looking at in my retinal picture, something no other doctor has done with me. She already was on it in sending the results to my PC and Endo, and literally, same day, it showed up on my MyChart.The receptionist was very welcoming. The techs were exceptional. And, to top it all off, I got to hang out while glasses were chosen for me, keeping in mind my preferences, my face, and how glasses would sit on me. Lori was dead on and I appreciate her honesty. Even Dr. McWilliams came to see them on me.Needless to say, youre top of mind here and will receive quality care. Update: I hadnt had an eye exam in decades when my vision became a bit blurry in my right eye. I was able to get an appointment the same week. My retina was becoming detached and they were able to get me into a specialist within 20 minutes. They are a wonderful team! All the employees are always polite and very helpful. My sons replacement glasses were ready in 2 days and they were able to fix both of my daughters pairs. We wont be going anywhere else!

I suffered a minor accident and had to schedule an emergency appointment, having never been a patient at McWilliams Vision Care in the past. The friendly office staff was willing to schedule me for an appointment the very day I called! This is a testament not only to Dr. McWilliams for working me into her busy schedule on such short notice, but also to her administrative staff, who willingly collected all of the new patient intake information and checked insurance eligibility with very little notice. Every effort was made to ensure that the office was cleaned and sanitized between each patient who was seen, and all patients answer screening questions and are required to wear a mask before entering the facility. Dr. McWilliams gave me very clear and detailed information about what to expect, and she wrote all of her instructions down for me so that I could refer to them later without relying solely on my memory. Dr. McWilliams was 100% accurate in every expectation she gave of how my eye would feel, how long it would take for symptoms to improve, etc. The entire staff made me feel welcome and comfortable, and it was evident that everyone truly enjoys working there. I am so pleased with the kindness, concern, and expertise I was shown, and I would gladly sing the praises of McWilliams Vision Care to anyone looking for a skilled optometrist.

(This is a weirdly well-documented fear: I’m a creative writer and have several published essays about my “eye thing.”) Dr. McWilliams is a special person. She lets me talk about how anxious I am, she explains everything she’s doing, and she spends enough time preparing me for what we’re going to do that I’m not scared. She’s also always willing to explain things that I’m interested in but don’t necessarily apply to me. 100% of her staff is this invested and careful, as well: I had a stroke and have special needs where my eyes are concerned and they are kind and make sure I feel safe and comfortable. I cannot recommend the entire office enough.

Everyone was very professional. My whole appointment took about 15 minutes from walking in the door to leaving. I was able to ask any question without feeling judged no matter how obvious. The Dr was very quick making her way around every patient. They did not rush me out and waited until I fully understood everything. Overall very satisfying trip and will definately be going back.
