I have chronic eye issues and they are always able to get me in quickly when my eyes get so bad I need medical assistance. Both doctors are really nice but the assistants and receptionists are where its at! They are the best! So helpful and sweet!

Made an appointment over 1 month ago for today. Had to juggle my work schedule for it. So did my daughter. Office staff says no evidence of appointment. Rude woman at the front desk actually said Whatever. Thats how you take care of your customers. Shame. Too bad nothing will be done about it

Dr. Russ provides quality care with a personable manner. I leave confident that I have been taken care of.

Excellent and prompt diagnosis when I experienced changes in vision. Dr. Russ took time to explain what was going on. Called that morning and was able to get checked the same afternoon, and yet didnt feel at all like I was being rushed in and out. Very professional and knowledgeable service.

My husband and I both had eye checkups at Ridgway yesterday. Dr. Pratt makes one feel at ease and is comfortable to talk to about any issue one might have. We both felt like we had a thorough check and were not rushed in any way. We would be happy to recommend this place to anyone needing eye care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Pratt for 28 years. He is provides absolutely the best eye care I have ever received - Ive had glasses since 3rd grade. I drive a 160 miles round trip - an hour and 45 minutes each way - because his quality of care is second to none. I have recommended family and friends to his care - all have the same sentiment. My wife and I had appointments Tuesday and I commented its like a family reunion when we go for eye exams. HIGHLY recommend Dr. Pratt!

Ive been going to this place ever since 7th grade of middle school, I am now 20 years old. I always enjoy coming here. I am not sure if there are issues with staffing for the clerks up front as of lately, but I wanted to schedule an appointment to see Dr. Pratt because I have been afraid that a few contacts were rolled up in the corner of my eyes/stuck to my eyelids because of a few occasions over the past few months. Stacy left me a voicemail and told me to call her back, I did and I told her I would take the 9:45am cancellation but then she told me to hold on and suddenly changed it to 1:00pm. I didnt say anything because I would rather it be 1 than 9:45am and so we decided that I would do a med check on Feb 2nd at 1:00pm. This was on Feb 1st, a few minutes before they closed. She said well see you tomorrow. I get there, and there is no appt scheduled for me at the time but on MARCH 2nd. I tell the lady up front whos been working there for a while that Stacy made an appointment for me that day at 1, and she doesnt offer any apology or form of reimbursement, I am not sure if she even believed me. She looked at me like I was stupid. I am aware there are patients who misremember their appt time/day and blame it on the office staff, but I am not one of them. It was disheartening to see this situation being handled so poorly. I wasnt going to say anything about this but I was just reminded of it, and I think it is worth mentioning. I am sure Stacy just made a mistake, but I would at least like an apology for the time I lost at work.

Dr. Russ was super nice and very knowledgable and Nicole helped me pick the perfect frames. To make it even better they were very affordable. Very highly recommend their services and plan on sticking with them for my future family needs.

Darrell Pratt, O.D has been a wonderful doctor though out many years. Believe me he knows what he is doing in his practice. He has help me understand the relationships of all that pertains to the eyeballs .He also knows how to motivate his patients to follow his medical orders.He is the only one that could repair Supermans X-Ray Vision.

Just came from Ridgway Eye Care for my annual eye appointment. Have to say I had a great experience. First of all I didnt have to wait at all. I got in immediately. The optometrist, though quite young was pleasant and thorough. The front desk ladies were very nice and efficient. The glasses were a little pricey but they have a great selection. First time there going for an eye exam and buying glasses. My insurance covered quite abit of the costs so I have no complaints regarding the pricing. Appointment setup was quick, and only ended up waiting ten or fifteen minutes past the appointment time. The Doctor who took me was efficient, and thorough with the exam and had no problem answering my questions. Finally, I chose a pair of frames that I am very happy with and it only took a week for the glasses to come in. Should I be in Evansville at a time I have need of services relating to optometry, I will be coming back.
