Such an easy and streamlined experience. Corey was such an amazing help!! I got such an amazing deal and could not be happier!
The associate I worked with was very helpful and knowledgeable. The transaction went smooth. She offered accessories, of which some were purchased, but was not pushy. The next time I purchase a phone, I am going back to this store.
First the store inside & out beautiful. Customer service outstanding. Madeline was my customer service rep, she told me about deals so I can save money, plus I had T-Mobile as my carrier for my 11 Pro max, now I upgraded and have the iPhone 12 PRO MAX and a new carrier with all respect Verizon. Thanks again.
I have mixed feelings about our experience but will give them the benefit of the doubt. Hopefully after the pandemic is under control, their associates will be more pleasant within- person appointments. The online salesperson promised more than they should have with both products and services.
Great service. The employee that helped us out saved us alot of money and I even bought a new phone. Just walked in because I had a question about my current plan.
Staff is extremly helpful with technical stuff if that is why you choose the store. Unfortunately if youre shopping for a phone there is not much of a selection to look at.
Customer service was terrible. We walked in asking to look at phones and no one came up to us at all. The 4 gentleman just sat around chatting and laughing. I am going to try another location due to this. The man who let us in was nice so this is why I am giving them a star.
Just left Verizon so happy! CJ was such a great help. He tried to get us the best deal possible and was so accommodating and professional the entire time. I’ve never had such a great experience when getting a new phone, it’s usually something I put off because it’s such a hassle. CJ was kind and efficient the entire time!
Friendly and helpful. In and out.
The staff at the store were very helpful, and quickly resolved an obscure issue with a kids plan phone.
Very quick and friendly staff
C. J. was very helpful since I had no idea what I was doing because: 1st iPhone. He didnt increase my ticket just throwing stuff into my bag and was very knowledgeable, I appreciate that.
Amazing service, very accommodating and respectful! I did feel mislead by one salesman about the screen protector I purchased however. Thats enough for me to take off a star. Otherwise all around excellent experience most times Ive been there
Very rude, i had ordered a phone online and they said they didn’t have it in stock when they did. they just wanted to sale instead of the verizon gentleman that helped me over the phone. i will never go there again!
Great service
Very orderly, in and out very quickly
JP is a top sales executive with the best personality and smile to greet and help others. Ive been to this location twice in the last three years to do upgrades and he has always been pleasant, proactive, professional and thorough in helping us with our wireless needs. Its a shame that everyone else in this store has zero desire to be of help so if you go in ask for JP!
Having worked in customer services for 40 years, Ive learned that the 2 most important things are friendliness and helpfulness. The young man who waited on us was neither friendly nor helpful. He seemed bored and totally uninterested in our comments and questions. He was very unpleasant to deal with.
Worst customer service ever. Agree with another reviewer that this store should be shut down.BUYER BEWARE. Returned $100 worth of equipment literally 60 seconds after purchase. Was promised credit. When credit didn’t come thru I visited store and manager informed me she took care of credit and it would be on next statement. Again didn’t come thru. One “customer service “ rep told me again it would be credited. Still not done.Moral to the story: don’t deal with this store. They are inept as well as dishonest.
I had a great experience at the Westgate Verizon. Richard, Mary, and Brian were very helpful, both the first time to get a new phone and when I returned to replace the screen protector. Everything was upfront and calm.I suspect the some of the negative reviews are based on peoples unrealistic expectations not being met. I recommend getting there 10 minutes early in order to get service right away.
This is one of the worst Verizon stores to visit. I am a business customer and went to return a pair of new apple headphones and waited for over 40 minutes to get someone to help. By the time I finally got my credit it was over an hour. Surprisingly, there were only 3 people ahead of me. This store is ALWAYS understaffed and the staff is poorly trained. Every customer there In line with me was complaining about their repeated poor experiences at this location. While i was waiting 2 customers literally walked out frustrated and said they were going to switch to other carriers and buy their new iPhones elsewhere. There was an older gentleman who just had back surgery walked in quite upset that the salesman lied about their new promotions the day before. He insisted on speaking to the manager named Taylor who did not appear for over 35 minutes. If you need a new iPhone i seriously recommend going to an Apple store. The Verizon store Employees will tell you their WiFi is really slow today and you should migrate your data when you get home.If you prefer going to the Verizon store only, I would recommend the N Olmsted Store over this location.
I live this particular store. I come here whenever I am in town and need something for my phone. My mom was having issues with her phone and I told her to go here. They had her all straightened out in a few minutes. She goes there with any questions she has and they take good care of her! Great customer service!
Horrible customer service. I asked for tech help and instead of helping me, the employee reset my phone twice and suggested I go to best buy for help because they are more tech savvy. Dont waste your time here.
They charged our account wrong, had to come back twice to get something fixed and was given wrong information. But better than an independent Verizon retailer. Which are terrible and never try to fix their issues.
Horrible service, unacceptable wait time, delay assisting customers even when no one is in the store. Staff dont know what they are doing and have to get other staff to assist you. Staff members stink of cigarettes. Dont do what they say are going to do, resulting in you having to come back to the store to resolve the issue. Verizons network is good, customer service is piss poor at best. 10/10 in giving me reasons to switch networks and avoid going to this particular store. High staff turn over.
Aaron was very helpful. The whole store has a great vibe.
Tried to activate an unlocked Galaxy Watch here, they tried to sell me stuff I didnt need and a locked device. The way the LTE Watches work is a racket. I went back eventually and was treated better but you have to beware
Sent my husband in to get me a new phone for me and wanted all my photos and contacts transferred to my new phone and the sales person tells him oh we dont do that anymore! REALLY? Yes you do if you have good customer service....never again will I use this store for anything
Gets busy quickly. Everyone gives you a different answer. I hate going, but the answer I was given didnt work. Now I have no bars on my phone. Have to go back. Needs better informed employees
Knowledgeable well trained individuals who gave great suggestions
I was severely disrespected at this location by a man I believe his name was Aaron. Not completely sure because everyone refused to give me his name. He lied to me about phone features. or he had a lack of knowledge and said what was easy to close the sale. He said that all my apps on the google pixel 4 that used fingerprint recognition on my pixel 2 would use face recognition to log into the apps. I asked him a minimum of 2 times and he insisted it would work. While my content was uploading to the new phone, I told him if he needed to help someone else that I understood. In the middle of helping another customer he asked me how it was going . I said good except none of the banking apps, etc were capable of doing what he said with facial recognition. He didnt listen to what I said. And in a very condescending and frustrated tone told me you always have to log into the new app manually the first time. I told him I understood that and already did that. He told me I just didnt know how to do it and he would get it to work. Again in a very condescending and frustrated tone. I remained composed. He finished with his customer and came over and compared the app on my old pixel 2 vs. The pixel 4 as I told.him I had done. He messed with it for a while and said the updates were coming to the phone in the future. I told him I had asked him specifically at least twice. He lost his temper and snapped at me saying how am I supposed to know what 3rd party apps will do. So I said thats fine but you should have said that . He once again said something in a condescending manner and I told him I can understand he didnt know, and could look past that. What I had an issue with was the way he was speaking to me. He got extremely defensive and I told him it was unacceptable. He said ok youre out of here, come on. I said excuse me. Youre the one acting ridiculous and youre telling me to leave?! He said youre leaving come, come with me now. Making a scene in the store. I said what are you the bouncer? He said, youre leaving. I looked over at another guy and explained what had happened. He and the guy went in the back for a minute and the condescending guy came out laughing. The guy came out behind him and I told him I wanted to return everything. That I would have kept the phone and dealt with it if it werent for the way the other guy treated me. I told him I wanted to speak to someone and he said that someone was him. There was nobody else. I asked for the guys name again and he wouldnt give it to me. I asked if they were a corporate store and told him I would find a way to speak to someone about the behavior. I asked if his name is Tied to the transaction and he said no. Which I dont believe. Im in retail I know.how it works. Then they charged me a $50 restocking fee even though I never even left the store with the phone. He said there was no way around it and Im not getting it back.. i told him again I am in retail and there is always a way around it. I then went to another location and a very nice guy told me that the situation sounded like Aaron and was shocked I didnt get a full refund. And gave me the name of the store manager which is different from the other guy, Mike, who he represented himself as when he said he was the only person I could speak with. I left and went to AT&T and Im paying $50 less per month for the same service and a better phone which ingot completely free. A $950 value. I suggest you skip this store and go see Matt at AT&T at Crocker Park next to Trader Joes.
My visit was not as bad as I thought it was going to be based on a lot of the poor reviews that I read. I got there right when the store opened, so the wait was very minimal. The personnel werent very bubbly, but helpful.
They are always super friendly. No complaints. Thank you
Every time we have visited this particular Verizon we have had an issue. The wait time is always extremely long even if they are not busy. Almost every staff member we have dealt with has had an I dont care attitude and we have also dealt with defective merchandise from this location (phone on one occasion, screen protectors on another occasion). Save yourself the headache and find another location.*edit* in response to the Verizon reply on my review. We have already given this location 4 chances, we are done with it. Oh and your generic reply does not help the matter. Over the past 2/3 years nothing has changed about this location and our experience. Actions speak louder than words.
If I could give this location a zero I would. After being told for an hour that I was getting upgraded to a new phone, the employee went and hid out in the back for a short time only to come out and say I was not eligible for a new phone. I came home and called Verizon and I was eligible, he just wasted my time for no reason!
I was having a lot of issues with the GPS on a new phone and the tech support team worked really hard on getting the issue resolved. I went in frustrated and left a happy customer. Appreciate the help!
Was with Verizon 20 years and they didnt care. I have always paid my bill on time and barely had anything wrong. The charge port in my husbands phone was broken (this was a 2 year old refurbished phone mind you). They said he had to have broken it either purposefully or by accident by jamming something in there. Why would anyone do such a thing? They wanted over $200 to replace this phone and we pay insurance on it monthly! I talked to a supervisor and then the manager and even a higher person on the phone and they were all unhelpful and didnt care that I was a valued customer for so long. I left and switched to Sprint and have had no issues since! We even have a lower bill while adding a tablet with unlimited data and new phones! I will NEVER deal with a company that does not value its customers and Verizon is just that.
Not happy.. someone has taken all the customer service power out of the corporate store!
This one star is not even low enough. You walk in there are about five people goofing around. They ask to check you in and make you wait while they do whatever it is they are doing. Literally two of them were talking, joking, laughing behind the counter and clearly had time to HELP THE CUSTOMERS. Does this store want business or not? I literally walked out and checked out and ordered a phone online because of how much this store lacks customer service.
Got in quickly and was able to get my Samsung watch looked at
Typical Verizon. Went in with a problem and waited... eventually just called the service number where they took care of it... Guess it was better to just call and not waste time in the store.
Jason was very helpful and we had quick service. Very pleased
If I had the ability to give these people negative stars I would have gone for -5 stars. Been in there 3 times in the last few weeks and I have never been so infuriated with any verizon interaction. They dont care about their customers, customer service, or even their own company protocol. They will attempt to deceive you and leave out information to get their sales at all costs. This location deserves to be shut down and all their employees fired. Absolutely ridiculous.
Great friendly service. The rep went the extra mile for my mom.
Nice Verizon location with helpful workers!
Long wait time for service, but the service is very good.
Service helpful but very pricey products
My family has been with Verizon since the early 2000s and, typically, we are happy with the product and customer service weve received. Back in December, my phone had gotten broken (it still worked, just not as well as it used to) when I got shoved off of an RTA bus by an impatient citizen and went to this Verizon store to get a replacement phone. Not an upgrade, initially.Turns out I was due for an upgrade and tried to find the cheapest deal in the store for a phone that still met my needs. The phone I had currently had wasnt available anymore but they had a deal for a Droid Turbo 2 for free with any trade in and we got a free tablet. I asked the sales lady we were working with a dozen times if FREE actually meant FREE for this phone and tablet. I got it out of her that the tablet was going to get charged a data plan but the tablet itself was free. She said my Droid Turbo 2 was FREE and even when I asked Are you SURE its free? Im not going to get charged monthly for this thing later on am I? There are no extra hidden fees that are going to be tacked on just because Im getting this new phone (the Turbo 2 had just come out)? She said, No. Its free. Your trade-in of your old phone guarantees that. And actually this move will make your familys monthly bill cheaper. My dad has us kids all paying our portion of the bill now - so when I went online to make my first bill payment, I took a look at what we were paying for and, wouldnt you know, that conniving sales lady at this Verizon store freaking LIED to me! Im getting charged $26/month for two years (duration of my contract) for this phone! Its absolutely uncalled for, for her to lie to me and my family like that.Weve never had so many problems with Verizon until came to this store. I dont even like coming here for a simple question. We dont have to visit a Verizon store often, so we keep giving this hell-hole another chance. They make you wait and they constantly try to sell you on crap you dont need! I went in to get a new turbo charger for my phone and they kept trying to sell me their fast chargers. No. My phone is a Turbo Charge phone and Im going to utilize that capability. Its apparently what Im freaking paying for. This store really needs to hire better people and work on its overall efficiency. You do nothing but wait and get harassed in this store.
I love VERISON.
Service was great. Very helpful.
Yesterday evening my girlfriend and I went to the Verizon store at Westgate mall in Fairview Park. We waited for about 10 minutes after being signed in when Kam (Kamal Dakdduk) introduced himself. Initially he was very pleasant and easy to talk to. I explained to him I was there to purchase an iPhone X. He looked in his computer and couldnt find one available at his store. So he asked us if we minded waiting for a few more minutes while he searched the inventory of local stores for what I wanted. After a short period of time he called me over to the desk and continued to call stores attempting to find the phone I was looking for. Although I was disappointed I wasnt able to get my phone that day Kam clearly went out of his way on a busy evening to help me. I have very high expectations and most times when I speak with a customer service person or sales rep it ends with me being disappointed. This was most certainly the exception. This experience was a reminder that I spend my money in the right place when I pay my phone bill. Kam was personable and focused on helping me. Thank you for your effort.
Why do these stores still exist? Why is Verizon paying someone to run to the door and greet you, type your name I to a tablet and then run away and hide in the corner until the next person walks Im the door?!?! Ive never been in a retail establishment that shows such little interest in actual customer service. Completely useless!!!
Worst customer service Ive ever experienced in my whole life. I cant wait to switch to a different network. Embarrassing.
Terrible. For the amount that we pay, youre going to charge to have a phone backed up. Providing no help and no recommendation. The only reason we are with Verizon is because of its mobile sevice
A manager I believe named Mike was extremely rude and condescending. I will never return to this store again.
They wont help you with billing questions they just tell you to call the 800 number
If I could put zero stars I would. I wont be returning to this location ever again. The wait has been over 30 minutes on several occasions. I have walked in the door and waited for 10 minutes before my existence was even acknowledged. The customer service is nonexistent. Multiple employees on multiple occasions were completely unhelpful and unapologetic about how ineffective they were. Today I was shown a pamphlet and was told to call a phone number or go to a website to receive assistance with my problem because there wasnt anything they could do in the store. There is no point in trying to get help from these worthless employees anymore. Verizon has taken a completely hands-off, call the tech support line approach and doesnt care about their customers at all.
They lead me in the right direction, and I fixed my problem
Slow and very bad service. Employees really dont want to help you they do their best to ignore you.
Broke my moms screen trying to put a case on and told me it was my moms fault they told her to put the case on. So associate breaks moms phone and don’t apologize
Horrible customer service mixed with predatory sales practices. Id rather use two soup cans and a string than have to deal with Verizon again.
Brian and his staff are AWESOME!
Friendly & knowledgeable staff that take the time to listen to your wants and needs & then match you with a product for those desires without being pushy or just trying to sell you the most expensive items
Needed a memory card for my phone. They had it, and even installed it for me.
Horrible service and extremely slow. Representatives do not know his products. They did not honor their word over the phone. I waited an hour in line just to get sent back home. Very disappointed. Ive been a customer for over 25 years. I wish I could rate a 0 Goodbye Verizon!
Four trip it tookOn the third I was five minutes after closing the clerk said To Bad come back tomorrow I told him it was the third time today and they still havent fixed it Come Back TomorrowWhile he stood in the middle of the showroom doing NothingIn a small and they Close at 7PMFourth visit on Saturday a very professional technician fixed it in 10 minutes
Service can be slow, but it gets the job done.
As a manager myself i find it extremely displeasing to walk into this establishment and recieve the terrible service that i got. Every single employee payed no mind to my needs and why i was there. Customers are not the main priority to say the least. I will NEVER come back to this place on account that it will once again ruin my day...
Absolutely awful customer service. Employees are brash, dont stick to their word, and dont appear to care about their jobs whatsoever. Not to mention that sales reps carry both an iPhone and a Galaxy in their pocket and whatever one youre interested in, they will pull out that phone and say its their preference and the phone they use personally.Unless you feel like being tricked and arguing, avoid this location at all costs.
This store has more employees to check-in people than actually helping customers. Its like the DMV of cell phones.
Very poor service
No one customers in the store. When I walked in they said it would be less then 5 minutes. After 15 I left. Shame too as I was goi,g to buy a new LG6
SLOW, plenty of people working, however few people actually helping customers
Not helpful at all, super rude customer service.
Sometimes have difficulties with the equipment. But the staff here is super. Really work hard to make things right.
Always semi helpful
Great employees
Very pushy sales people. When I say no, I want to wait a few days to make a decision thats the end of our conversation. Im buying a cell phone, not a used car.
Great store
Service is excellent
Great place
Great service
Just unbelievably slow
