Work was done fall 2011. roof began to leak fall 2021. inspector found extensive wood damage under shingles which has lead to nails popping out and leaking. Mulligans has been contacted numerous times and have always received the same message. Someone will call youI give this company a 0/10 for poor workmanship and poor customer service

Mulligan installed my siding in 2002, and the roof in ~2003. Part of the siding blew off back of the house last year and I fixed it myself, and you can see in my attached picture the paint pealing off all the trim looks terrible. Now my roof is leaking along the siding above my garage because they REUSED the step flashing instead of replacing it when installing. Their stuff comes with a supposed 25 year guarantee.Ive called them like 2 or 3 times PER WEEK for the last 5 weeks, and the customer service rep Laura either cant find my paperwork or the second week was out sick or in a meeting every time I called. Finally she got back to me 3 weeks later and was blaming the delay on Dan, their field guy. After calling Laura for a fourth week she finally got Dan to call me and HE was blaming HER for not doing her job and said hed come by to take a look Wednesday. That was 2 days ago and still havent heard back from him. Theyre just blaming each other and theres apparently nobody else able to help. So now Im starting week 6 of still trying to get someone to even come out and assess the situation for starters, who knows about if theyll do anything about it after that. In the meantime my siding looks terrible and Ive got water leaking in whenever it rains.Basically they use cheap siding that falls off, or peals paint, they reuse materials to save a buck (step flashing is literally like $1~$2 per square) and after you have problems, youll spend weeks and weeks calling and getting the runaround without any actual support. Do not use mulligan unless that sounds like what youre looking for.PS: Their contact us form on the website doesnt work because the captcha is broken. Also, youd think even if they arent going to repair anything for me as promised in their 25 year guarantee, theyd do SOMETHING not to piss me off, knowing Im shopping for work on my siding and roofing, and theyre literally a roofing and siding company... lol

This is a crookedly run business. The ladies in the office who answer the phone are pleasant enough, but they aren’t the ones who will install a defective new roof with a warranty they won’t honor. You get the runaround trying to get them to return calls and schedule repair work for their poor workmanship. Unless you want to risk thousands of dollars for interior water damage, hire someone else to replace your roof.

They came out and gave good customer service when giving is an estimate for siding. When they installed, the installers did a great job and cleaned up well. Weve had some warping of the siding and Ive cally them multiple times and they said someone will come out or call you back. Still not taken care of. Its getting to the point of absurdity.

Mulligan does not honor their warranty. I had the trim on my house repaired several years ago. During a high wind storm 2 years ago, the trim was ripped in half and blown off the house. For the last 2 years, I have been trying to get Mulligan to honor their warranty with no luck. Ive gotten a steady stream of excuses of why they cant send a repair man to fix the problem. If you have a problem with their work, you will need to hire another company to fix the problem and pay for it out of pocket. Stay away from this company.

I used Mulligan per my neighbors recommendation to install vinyl trim along the roof line and siding for the front. Loved how the sales person (George) presented all the options and pricing in 2020.But anything after that has been painfully slow. Installation is a 7 months delayed .. granted it could be caused by COVID.Installation result looks good, but then I notice they do not chaulked around the windows where do do the trim/siding. Been calling them everyweek for about 4 weeks. They pinged me around several installers, say yes this week but nobody show up.I really wonder how they will honor their warranty if a simple chaulk that was not done from the original work not even taken care of after several weeks.I will update this review and rating after they did the chaulk.I like the workmanship .. but it is a pain to get hold of them for follow-up.

They cannot make their deadline they agreed to months in advance and am now getting the run around about getting my deposit back would not recommend

Recently used Mulligan Windows and Siding for siding and gutters with gutter guards. I am extremely happy with the job they did. Our salesman Ron went way above and beyond when it came to making sure our house was done as perfectly as possible. Pricing was reasonable as well.

What work they have done for me.....was well done. You can also depend on them to honor and follow through with guarantee on product. Repairs window Ive had for at least 7 years.

This review is long overdue -- I would NOT recommend this company. I used Mulligan Windows, Siding and Roofing to install a new roof apx. 5 years ago. Once the job was complete I promptly paid in full. After going up on the roof and in the attic numerous issues were detected (vent hole relocated old hole just covered with thin piece of metal covered by shingles, nail pops near front end of garage, shingles sagged over the drip edge (never fixed), torn shingle installed in valley (could not fix only put some caulk or tar over rip), tore alum. siding from house when removed old roof and left dangling. The sales man, George, was of no help to resolve. I contacted the owner, Cory Hakucke, of the company and it took about a year of many emails and phone calls to finally get almost everything resolved (that I found). Fast forward 5 years and another nail pop that went undetected and poor caulk around the flashing of the chimney caused a roof leak. Now I need to clean out a portion of my new (1 year old) attic insulation and replace (since it got wet) and need to repair my living room ceiling. I would NOT recommend this company.

I found Mulligan after googling and reading reviews. Not only was their office manager an absolute dream to work with, their sales rep was professional and explained the entire process and exactly what I would be paying for. The work was done in a short amount of time and at the end of each day, the contractor cleaned up (even swept) so my dog wouldnt be bothered by anything. The entire process was seamless and I was well informed the entire time. The sales rep was at my house the morning after I called and the work was completed (to PERFECTION) within a week of my initial call (delayed on my part)!I will recommend Mulligan to anyone and everyone and they have earned a customer for LIFE! Honestly, the work couldn’t look better. I even sent pictures to family and friends and no one could believe it was the same garage!I’m not dreading getting new windows because I know they will make the process as easy as can be!

If I could Id give 0 stars. This company took my deposit and never completed the job. The owner called me stating they were having issues with getting good help. Then after numerous months they came and picked up the materials. I called them about a refund and have a recorded message from the receptionist that I was going to be refunded tomorrow - Im still waiting, its been a year. The Better Business tried to resolve but Mulligan never replied to them. I will be turning this over to the Federal Trade Commission and the local new consumer help people. Highly suggest you avoid them.

Oh My God, you talking about an upset ready to fight representative... Had an appointment at 6 pm. I drove to the mailboxes island 1 block from my house in my neighborhood and at 6:04 I got a call from an upset person yelling at me because one of my portable rotary sprinklers in the center of 1/2 acre area in front of my house came in at 6:00 pm timer. He started yelling after saying who he is and hung up. I pulled back in the driveway at 6:05 to a guy that was ragging and charging at my 16 year old son who he thought is me. Also he bulled inside my driveway in a non marked Blue Jeep Cherokee and parked it in the middle of it behind 2 vehicles that neither one can drive out without him moving his car, I parked the third car behind his all the way on one side and when I got out apparently he got angrier and spoke unwritten English of some sort, and started yelling you want me to move my car, do you want me to move it just tell me where and I’ll move it in areal rude manner. I told asked him to calm down as I don’t need to have him talk to me like that in front of my son or wife. I told him he is fine but he could of parked on either side. He still got in and out of the car in a rage at him self as I was not ready to deal with that. Then I wanted to change the subject and I said I was expecting a confirmation call that never received and I’m still here, and it’s like someone smacked him and started to go off on me. Saying I didn’t know about having to call you to confirm, or that I had to be 5 minutes late for you, I was on time and, and I did come here to get wet...... Seriously, is this person a new hire in the sales business? Is this Mulligan’s customer service when someone calls in, or was there something about my name that showed what my ethnicity is? Possibly when he saw an indication of what my race is he exploded and couldn’t control himself. The truth I got scared of him and had to video tape him leaving my driveway in case he would cause any damage and the funny thing he packed up all the way to the stop sign, turned illegally into opposite traffic, luckily we live in a very quite no traffic neighborhood in Northville, and then took off. I will wait to talk to management about what is to come out of your company in regard to this insult that was recorded on my surveillance cameras sound and video, and on my phone of his historical driving. Slow getting back to me on warranty work

Everyone has been very polite, including the roofers. The roofers showed up earlier than I was given the time for. It did take them a few weeks to come out to so the job, even though we were told it would be the same week or next on the day of quote.

Ive been going to them for gutters windows and siding for 20 years. They always do a great job and they are reasonably priced.

VERY UNHAPPY. Mulligan isn’t done with the job yet, and we’re already very sorry we chose them:Price was not our deciding factor as they were all competitive, and Mulligan wasn’t the lowest. For us it was timing. George, the salesman, PROMISED us the job would be complete before a large party we were going to have at our house. He said it was no problem, especially because of how far in advance we signed the deal.The installers (only two guys) do very nice work, but nice work takes time, and given how late they started the job it’s unlikely they’ll get the job done on time.We have expressed our concerns several times to George and he makes apologies and promises, and when I spoke to him yesterday he said he was throwing extra guys at it, and that he thought he could get the whole job done in time. It’s past noon on Saturday before the party and it’s the same two guys. No other crew have shown up.I’m pretty sure once it’s done it will be nice work, but given the importance of the timing and how very clearly it was communicated to George, and how adamantly he promised us he could make the deadline no problem, I have to give them only 1 star, and say I would not recommend Mulligan.

We recently had the exterior of our home updated. Windows, siding, gutters, doors, and porch. We couldn’t be happier with the results! It is so refreshing to come across quality people that treat you like family! They have a great product and fantastic workmanship. Cory and his brother Chris are stand up guys! They are people you want to deal with. Punctual, polite, knowledgeable of product! Crew were all friendly, competent, tidy, and they all took great pride in their work. Painless process. We had a storm door in the front of our house crack due to the wind storm a few weeks ago. After calling Mulligan, they were able to order the exact size we needed, and install the door very quickly. It improved the exterior look of our house, and matched the color of what we previously had. Mulligans pricing was also very competitive, and met our budget which i was very pleased with. Thank you for your work!

Mulligan came out to our house last week to install new insulation in my sons bedroom. It was always freezing in there, especially in the winter time, and the wall was ice cold. After they installed brand new Owens Corning insulation in the walls, it has been so much warmer, and a much more comfortable temperature. I would recommend Mulligan to my friends and family, as their service and quality of work was better than anything Ive had in terms of home improvement work.

After moving into a new house, we wanted to make some changes to start home improvements, and Mulligan was the perfect match for us when it came to windows. The bow window they replaced was such an improvement to our houses look, and im sure its much more energy efficient and more insulated, since the old one was 20+ years old. Thank you Mulligan for the awesome job you guys did. Chris treated us with respect and made sure everything we needed was taken care of. We were really pleased with how they turned out, and will be using Mulligan again in the spring for our roof!

I had no problem with the work they agreed in writing to do. It was well done. They even offered additional work and materials at no charge from excess warehouse stock. Basically some plastic rock sheeting and the installation of a couple new garage lights that I provided to them, to replace the old ones they had to remove anyway in order to put vinyl siding around them. Naturally, I was glad to accept whatever they were offering to do for free. What a great offer! Unfortunately, they didnt finish the extra work when the contracted work was completed. After I called two or three times to see when they would return to finish, I got repeated promises such as: Theyll be back tomorrow or Within the hour, or Ill have my electrician come out. Every time I called, no one returned as promised. The third time I called to inquire what was going on, they said We didnt charge you for that work, (which had nothing to do with finishing what they promised) or I dont remember agreeing to do the electrical work (which was his idea in the first place). Needless to say, they didnt follow through, perhaps because it was only a verbal agreement and they had the last payment already on my credit card. Regardless, after a week of repeated calls I withheld the payment as a catalyst to get their attention in hopes theyd finish what they started. So when they were notified of this payment dispute in a letter sent through my credit card company, suddenly the caulking got finished, but not the trim work, which would have taken about 5 more minutes, and the one garage light was never rewired (I finally did it myself since I had no expectation they were ever coming back). So I get a call from one of their representatives after they got the letter of dispute. Why didnt you call me? he said. I explained I was tired of being told someone was coming out, only to never see them. (I dont like being lied to.) So I explained that I withheld the last payment until they returned to finish. They had some lame argument that it was work and materials they included for free, which apparently means that when its at no charge, and only a verbal promise, theyre under no legal obligation to finish it. Even after three weeks its still not completed and Im sure Ill have to finish the trim work myself. In the end, before he hung up on me, he said he was going to have his lawyer contact me about my payment dispute (which Ive since rescinded). I wish I had never agreed to have them include anything extra, since it caused me a lot of frustration waiting for it to be done.

In October this year, 2016, Mulligan Windows, Siding and Roofing resided my house and garage and did an outstanding job. I had storm doors replaced and outside lights replaced too. My old awnings were taken down and hauled away. I requested one to be replaced. Everyone is highly skilled in their particular craft. Very professional. It was a huge job. Every day they arrived on time and cleaned up before they left. My house looks like new for a fair price. I highly recommend Mulligan.

George was very knowledgeable and so down to earth. I really liked his ideas and the pricing for a new roof, siding, trim and windows was reasonable.

Corey is a great owner, he was so nice and understanding of where we need to be on price. One of the nicest people I have ever done business with!

Wow, i am very impressed with Mulligans commitment to customer satisfaction. I had two windows in my room that i had to put clear plastic covers over every winter to keep the cold air out, and mulligan replaced them for me! I no longer have any drafts or cold air leaking into my room, and it is so much warmer and better insulated. Thank you Mulligan, i would refer this company to all my friends and family who need home improvement work done !!

Very good experience with Mulligan. Had our roof, windows and front door done 2 years ago and they finished off the house with siding and 7 new columns this year. Very conscientious crews who did quality work. They take pride in their work. Sales person, Dave, was always responsive and fully transparent. Would use them again but we have nothing left for them to do. I recommend them, they take care of business with little drama. Very happy with the result.

This truly is a family run place. They did a great job on my roof. The owner called to follow up on my satisfaction. They can do everything exterior home improvement. Have had them do replacement windows and sliding doors for me in the last few years. I have recommended them to friends. They are prompt and get the job done quickly, even on custom orders, which i had to do for my doorwall. They were also nice about finding me parts for a window crank that was 20 years old and did not try to sell me on replacing it, but got me a part, as that was the only issue with that window. Nice company and good folks. Five stars for the local guys who actually come out and do the work themselves.

Mulligan installed several windows for me years ago. I had leaked seals in bathroom window and they replaced it no issues. The same happened to front window and they replaced it no issues. I definitely will use them again. They are a family business and they do treat you like family. George was my sales representative. Also Dan was my repair consultant. Bottom line is things happen over time ( 10+ years for me) and you want a company that back their product. I recommend Mulligan.

First I spoke with Chris, who was going door to door. He was very professional and polite. We were used to seeing Mulligan signs everywhere, so we decided to have them provide a quote for a new roof. Ron came out, took his time, talked to us, and left us with a lot of information. We are picky. I checked neighbors and strangers houses to see how their work was done, and who was doing it. Mulligans was patient, called us once a month for 4 or 5 months to see if we were ready. When we let them know it was time, Ron came back to visit us. He set everything up. The crew kindly asked if I was ready for them to work. They could not have been any nicer. Their work was exceptional, they didnt make a single mistake, they picked up behind themselves and they exceeded our expectations. My wife talked to them off and on throughout the process. They advised her about what they were doing, and she felt they went way out of their way to do a great job. We are so happy, we will be using Mulligan again for other jobs, and we highly recommend them to you!

Mulligan came out to repair a leak in our roof, and did an excellent job. It is in a very damp environment with cars getting washed constantly throughout the day, and still they were able to provide a great quality of work, and excellent service to our business. Thank you !

We got a new roof installed on our home two years ago by Mulligan, and it still looks good as new. No shingles falling off, wear and tear signs, or leaks even after several rough winters!Very impressed with the quality of work they provide.

Had windows installed in the summer of 2016 everything went well but one screen was missing, Mulligan promise they would order the screen, they told me it would be very soon well here we are October of 2017 and still waiting!! Now I did have three screens come out first one had a rip in it, second one wrong size, number 3 screen again wrong size !! Im a patient man but this is just not good business practice! So I say be careful be very careful if you choose MULLIGAN they forget you once they get YOUR MONEY

Ive used Mulligan in the recent past and they have horrible management. They do not do what they say they will do. The workmen showed up without notifying me first and did the work while I was not home. The work was incomplete. The management did not care. Do not use this company.

I recently had two new windows installed in my bedroom after the old ones went bad. Christopher gave me a fair estimate and followed up promptly after the installation. The installers came on time and cleaned up after the installation to my satisfaction. The staff and installers are very friendly and professional. I would definetly recommend them. The vinyl windows were installed over 6 months ago and have seen significant improvement with the temperature of this room after replacing the windows.

February 2017. They came out on time, quoted him the same day and delivered sooner than expected. They put an 8 foot door wall and even had to cut out a couple inches of the wall because I had a weird space. It looks great and everyone is happy.

This easily could have been a 5 star rating but unfortunately it is not. Back in November of 2017 mulligan installed siding, windows and doors to my house. The whole job was done perfectly except they had installed the wrong front door and it was the wrong color. No big deal right? Called my rep and told him. He came out and concluded that the wrong door was installed and it would be 2 weeks for the replacement. After almost 2 months with no word I called my rep. He told me to talk to someone else (Dan) at the office so I called him. He told me to contact my rep as it was his responsibility. My rep instead of coming back out sent me a text with a picture of their catalog of doors and a website to visit to pick out a door because he was too busy to come out. Well that just irritated the you know what out of me. How unprofessional. So here we are a year and half later getting the run around. My wife and I just gave up. Guess we will deal with our hideous door until we find someone esle who can install a door that we like. I will never call them again for any other service nor will I recommend them to anyone else. Again, the work done was great and professional. Them fixing the screw up, not so great.Update. After reading this review we were contacted by a mulligan staff member. They said they wanted to make things right after a year. They asked us to submit our contract to them so they could confirm and fix the problem. We did so and they said they will contact us to send someone over to talk about repairs. That was in the spring. It is now winter. Guess they forgot, again. Waste of time if you ask me.Update 6-29-20: just found another gem. After tearing out my carpet to lay wood floors I found that both of my entry doors were not even framed and insulated properly. My side door after removing the trim I found that I can see directly outside in between the door frame and the wall. Water damage all around it. My front entry door I can see under the bottom part of the door frame directly outside. I witnessed Water leaking under it onto my floor inside after our last rain. They failed to put a section of gutter up where my 2 roof lines meet with water pouring down damaging a light and my foundation. Absolutely fed up. Now I have to hire someone else to fix it all since this place could care less to fix their mistakes. Again, hire someone else. Unbelievable.

We had Mulligan come out to replace some storm doors and look at some of our windows in November.They replaced the ones that had leaks and helped us with suggestions on how to save energy on some of the existing windows.Replacing all of them was beyond our budget. They were very generous since we are seniors gave us a very nice 10% discount on all the products.Madge called us a week later and then a month later to make sure we were happy with the work and did not have any issues. Very good experience. Highly recommend.

Got my siding done by Mulligan, it falls off every year in the same places since we got it, they used to fix it according to warranty, now they say they will come out and they literally dont show up. Im embarrassed with siding hanging off my home and on the ground. The siding we had before never ever had a problem

Mulligan has replaced all of my windows and siding and also replaced my roof. I couldnt be any happier with the results. The quality of the products and the workmanship is A-One. And you wont find a friendlier or more helpful group of people to work with.

Very disappointing. If warranty is important to your purchase, I would think twice before going with these guys. My roof is barley 3 years old. I have a leak that I have been trying to get them to fix for over 2 months. Finally had enough of the empty promises of Ill call you right back. I now have damage to other parts of my house that will need to be fixed and had to hire another roofer to take care of the problem.

Want to give no stars. Sales person just wanted the job. Made us feel like we mattered. They said we had to stain the trim ourselves which is not what sales guy said. Installers did not do a good job and they put the window in the wrong spot! I called and complained but they never called me back!!! Now 1 year later one of the windows has the coating coming off and from the reviews I see Im not the only one!! Dont use these people. I payed way too much for this in the first place.

I had my windows replaced yesterday and there were still some work left to do. The old couple was working was rude and irritated almost as if there were much better things for them to do. I also found several plastic bottles in my backyard near the window after they left. If you choose to go with Mulligan’s, be prepared for huffy and annoyed faces as well as unfinished work they leave behind!

Struggling to get the company to honor there warranty. Spent $5000 windows and gutters. All the windows have gouges in the corners of frames that were covered by caulk. One window frame has cracked after 3 months. Ive talked with several people and theyre all giving the run around with no accountability. Was told damaged frames would be replaced a while ago but I havent seen any results. Will update if there is any resolution

Mulligan had come recommended to us by my sister. We were in the process of purchasing this home and since we had to move January we wanted the replacement windows put in right around the time we moved in. We received a quote and paid a deposit on December 22, 2017 and were told it would be 6-8 weeks. It ended up being 11.5 weeks. In this time, when the crew came to make repairs in order to attach gutters, we were told that due to unforseen repairs it would be another $575. That they hadnt seen this due to snow. We started emailing the president of the company asking for detailed itemization on the extra $575, they never ever answered us back. The gutters were put on, and we want to be honest that everytime someone came to do work, they were conceintous, efficient and tidy. It is the management, sales and upper management that we have an issue with . At 6 weeks, we started asking when the windows would be in. The company never called back, we always had to call. I recieved a call one day asking if we were going to paint or stain the wood I asked why? They told me they were remove all of the wood. I told them that that was not what we had ordered. We wanted to keep the original wood frame and have replacement windows put in. They said we were wrong and 75% of their customers wanted all the wood frame removed and nobody kept the original. My husband and I said that we were in the 25% then. They sent out the retired owner and another man to measure. The first words out of the owners mouth were Whose fault do you think this is? I said certainly not mine. They measured several times, I confirmed with the younger man that he was measuring properly. I asked how long it would take and Bob, the owner said one week. That was February 13, it ended up being another month before the windows were installed. 2 Times we were told they didnt make it on the truck from Chicago and the 3rd time they said they were coming from Ohio. Again, we had to always make the phone call. When the job was finished they asked for the balance to be paid. We knew we were going to use an American Express card so we had protection. When my husband called to pay, they had added in the $575 that they couldnt itemize for us. We told them we wouldnt pay and would only pay what was quoted. We expressed our satisfaction for the installation and those employees but our extreme dissatisfaction with sales/management/ownership.

This company is not worthy of even one star. My windows came with a life time guarantee and they dont seem to want to honor it. The UV coating has gone bad after 3 years, a service tech came out wrote up every window. He told me it takes a few weeks to get the new glass and they would come back . That was 9 months ago.

In June, we found a fascia part Mulligan installed this February fell off and we called Mulligan for Warranty service. We waited and waited and still waiting.We ae so disappointed about their commitment. I will update if there is any progress.

I have had a terrible experience with them. They refuse to return my calls and wouldnt fix some storm damage. Very poor service.

Used them in 2006 at our Warren house but now seeing these reviews I wont even call for a quote for our new house.

When they came out, they adjusted the door. We are still waiting on them to come back. That was a month ago.
