Tarnow was recommended to me by a very satisfied customer.. The owner spent a lot of time with me as I chose a new front entry door. I found out he started the business in 1966. His knowledge was invaluable to me as I chose door options.

Boy, was I lucky to find these guys. My technician Gerard was great! He was knowledgeable, timely in service and very helpful. Even the cost was amazing and much more affordable than earlier quotes from the competitors. Its Tarnow all the way for me!

I’ve always had great service by Tarnow Door, but today was really great. They installed my new Garage door opener with WiFi so I can check the door open/close status from my phone rather than dash home when I can’t remember if I shut the door. And . . . I can close it from my phone as well.

Tarnow Door did a fabulous job fixing my garage door. They responded quickly to my request, sent a knowledgable and friendly repairman and charged me less than expected. Needless to say, Im very impressed and would highly recommend.

I called Tarnow door a couple weeks ago to come out and give me a price on replacing the bottom section of our garage door. Tarnow installed this door in 2010 or 2011. Someone came out and said he would get back to me. My wife called the next day and asked about the quote and no one ever called back. I called yesterday which was about two weeks later and Bud answered the phone. I explained that we had been waiting for a quote and he said he would get back to me. The day went by and he never called back. I called after hours and left a message for the owner. Mr. Tarnow called me this morning around 8:00 AM and told me the door we have is no longer made. He said he would email me a quote to replace the bottom section with a section that would not match and he would also quote a new door. Here it is 1:30 PM and I have not received the quote. I have used Tarnow before but I would not recommend them anymore based on recent performance. They seem to have lost a step as far as customer service goes. Ill be shopping elsewhere for a new garage door in the near future.

Great experience with Tarnow Doors. My garage door structurally failed miserably, to the point of being unsafe and trapped one of our cars in the garage. Henry was able to get me into a high-end door that they happened to have in the warehouse, and get it installed within 24 hours. I feel exceptionally lucky in this period of such long-lead times for almost all building supplies. I expected to be without a functional garage door for several months, and have one that is both functional and beautiful. You have a customer for life.

Once in a while, a company is perfectly spot on and Tarnow is high on the list. I called yesterday when my garage door opener broke. The guys came out today, replaced the opener, which included a keypad and two openers. The installers were very professional. It went so smoothly that I was shocked. Highly recommend.

Charles and crew installed a new front door with 2 sidelites. Their experience made the installation look easy. They had to modify the existing header and side jams for the door to fit into the 30 year old opening. Construction details from 30 years ago are different than today. They took on the challenge and provided an excellent professional installation. Their attention to detail to make the installation perfect was outstanding. They cleaned up everything and turned over a beautiful installation. Thank you!

Hi, Just to let some of you folks know you cannot do any better then Tarnow Doors. Wow, I sound just like a PR person for Tarnow. NOT Not, just an 87 year old who has seen many household doors, from Tarnow. From the first phone call until completion of the job, you receive first class service. A young lady, Kelly, takes the call and before you know it, all of your questions are answered knowledgeably and in a courteous and very friendly manner. A service technician, mine was Gerald this time. Gerald explained everything in detail and he too will have the answers to all of your questions and then stays until you feel comfortable with the operation procedure. And again everything is done in a clear friendly and easy manner.. I guess I could have summed this up by saying, GOOD PEOPLE But then Im 87, ask me what time it is and Ill tell you how to buiild a clock.

I have used Tarnow Doors for years. They have been around for many many years. Our experiences have been easy and trouble free. Last month I ordered a replacement garage door from Tarnow Doors. The door was installed, the work area cleaned up and we are happy. I know that I can count on them to provide excellent service, should that need ever come.

I called late on a Friday, informed them I had a broken spring and needed a new guide track, and they scheduled an appointment for the following Monday. Russ came out on time, provided a quote, and completed the spring and guide track repair, as well as lubricating all the moving parts. The best part of the service was that Russ spent the time to discuss and educate me on my garage door opener/door, and proper garage door maintenance. I highly recommend, and they will be my first call if I have any future garage door issues. Thanks again.

If I could give more than 5 ☆s I would. Henry Tarnow was a life saver. He saved me a lot of money and told me how to install a radio receiver for my gate. He programmed my keypad to my receiver. Excellent customer service. I will be doing business with him if I need doors.

I want to thank Tarnow Doors, the door finally came in about 3 weeks late but the installers made up for the long wait. Charles & Reggie were outstanding, the detail they put into the install blew me away...this is how contractors should be.

Wow. Way below zero and the spring broke on my garage door and the switch to open and close also would not work. We really didnt expect to see anyone until tomorrow but they came before noon and all done. The charge was really reasonable as well. Very very happy with this company.

I just wanted to send along a note of sincere thanks to you and all who helped to make my garage door buying experience so pleasant. As you know, my garage door was about 20 years old and ready for the garage door retirement home. I finally got fed up with listening to it snap and crackle as it opened and closed daily. I called your office on Monday and you were good enough to come to the house and meet me promptly at 9:00 am the NEXT morning. You were very pleasant and professional and lined me up with the best replacement door and track for my needs. You also arranged for the door to be installed two days hence. I did not even need to be home! I left home Thursday morning for work as usual with an old, creaky garage door. I returned Thursday night with a smooth, clean looking brand new garage door. While I was gone, your crew arrived, removed the old door and track and hauled it away. They installed the new door and track and re-installed the existing door openers.

Tarnow replaced our springs and adjusted/lubed components as necessary. I thought their price was reasonable. My only complaint is that the garage door is now too quiet (yes, sarcasm). I used to get a heads-up from the rumble anytime someone came home. Not now.

We called to schedule a quote. Was told someone would call that day(Saturday)or Monday. This is Tuesday no one has called. We would recommend going with another company. If We could give no stars we would.

The new garage door at the home of my daughter was, as you know, installed on January 2 and she is very pleased. I sincerely appreciate your efficient handling of this matter.

If you like pay through the nos ok but if you do a bit of research you may discover that these people charge a 600% markup. Be informed and dont get ripped of !

After waiting for my two garage doors for more than a month, Tarnows general manager called to set up an appointment. My wife called back an hour or so later to revise the appointment because of a schedule conflict and the manager threw an ugly childish tirade. Today my doors are suppose to be installed; however, they failed to order all necessary parts. On top of that, I have two installers in my garage smoking. It is the 21st century. No decent person would smoke at another persons home. I would never ever do business with them again.It has been 4 weeks since my first posting. The windows in my two new garage doors are defective. The company claimed that they would order new door sections from the manufacturer and replace them in two weeks. It has been a month. I cant remember receiving such bad service.John

Had a garage door installed and it was not done properly. The door is not level and everyone notices how crooked it is. Its hard to miss! I contacted Tarnow and showed them pictures and basically was told it was my floor that was not level. He is correct however, the installer lowered the higher side track which is opposite of what he needed to do. I was treated poorly and finally the owner was going to come look at it and then never showed or called. Its been nearly 2 years. Stay away from this company unless you want a poor install and want to be treated with zero respect!!

Contacted the company to assist in a spring repair. Whoever answered the phone had a very snide and sarcastic tone. I gave my business to someone else immediately.

Tarnow doors is wonderful to work with. They are courteous, polite and very professional. Their service department is execllent and very eager to help you .

I had you guys come out on Saturday to install the liftmaster 8550. Gerald showed up on time and was very professional and did an all around great job with the install. I could not be any happier with the service I received and will recommend you guys to all my friends.
