Had them move just a few items and they did a great job! Were on time, respectful and hard working. It was crazy busy during peak moving season, but I was able to schedule them before many other movers. Price was reasonable. Would use them again, even if I only needed things moved within my home!

Absolutely fantastic crew. Utilized a pack day by this group and the company sent three guys and a TON of boxes the day before the move started. We literally packed an entire house up in about 3 hours and it was so convenient. Best decision I made with my move. Also made it exceptionally organized and I highly recommend considering this additional service. I needed a long distance move that required two days and it could not have gone smoother. Wonderful, profession, and funny group of guys helped me out. And they catered to every minor detail or need that I had. The owner checked in on the final day of the move before the gentleman left to be sure everything was up to my satisfaction. They were unbelivalbly willing to help us with every little thing, and very thorough.There are lots of little things I can report about that really were amzing, but let me try my best to describe a few.Probably the one that stands out the most for me was them dealing with our very expensive Geek Chic gaming table. These guys were unbelievably careful with the table, going slow and doing things very carefully, listening to all our feedback about how it was put together. John and his team even spent time correcting some of the issues left by our movers from earlier this year! They fixed a few minor problems and left things better than when they arrived.Another thing they did that really stood out was when we were indecisive about where to put something, they would tell us theyd be happy to move things again if we changed our minds.The price was stunning. Our earlier move from CA to MI with a different company had cost us $25K. This move came to under $5K and included packing!Not a thing they packed was damaged in any way. It all arrived safe and sound in perfect condition at our destination.Moving twice in a year is enough, but if I ever need to move again, Ill be calling these guys first!

Tip: Hire movers that can speak proper English and dont look like they just got out of jail. I actually worked for Two Men summers home from undergrad 18 to 20 years ago when it was all clean-cut college kids and it was really smooth. I would not want ANY of these people even touching my possessions. I could have moved all this stuff myself in less time than it took 2 guys. Do NOT use this business! Rent a U-Haul, get some friends together and enjoy beer and pizza afterwards!

We were pleased with the move, they sent four guys, had all of the awkward heavy items that we needed to move within 4 hours. Good attitude, very polite...they got it done!

I used them for a local move and they were excellent. They were quick and and great professionals. Only hitch was they needed to make two trips.

I liked our actual movers, they were very nice and hard workers, but when I expressed concern that they loaded our POD up in such a way that it needed to be unloaded and redone by my significant other and myself, I heard nothing in response. As I said, they were very nice guys and I didnt want them to get into trouble, but their inexperience was definitely detrimental to our moving process. Ive dealt with the Livonia location in the past, and now wish I could have this time as well.

Moving 10 hours away with 2 dogs and a 4 month old baby was one of the most stressful things ive ever done, and Two Men and a Truck made the whole experience so much better. I cant imagine having done it without them. From the office staff, to the movers themselves, everyone was professional, friendly, and more than helpful. Our stuff arrived on time, and completely undamaged. Also, some other companies move your stuff with other peoples stuff, but with Two Men and a Truck, its YOUR truck, and only your stuff on board. Again, they were super friendly as well. I would have been just fine with professional movers just doing the job properly, but it honestly felt like i had a couple of my friends helping me move. I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone looking to move.

We used two men and truck a couple weeks ago to move and they were absolutely fantastic . They went above and beyond ! They wrapped all of our furniture so we could leave our clothes in the drawers, they provided garment boxes . The guys were on time, precise and very organized . You can definitely tell these guys know what they are doing . 100% would recommend them to anyone moving, made the whole entire process smooth and much less stressful .

This location was by far the friendliest and easiest to deal with and I called all over town! I had to change my items list to be moved twice and they never made me feel rushed or that I inconvenienced them. All staff was extremely courteous and professional throughout the entire process! Overall just a great experience with Two Men and a Truck of Farmington Hills. Brady & Barnabus arrived on time and ready to work. They emptied the contents of the apartment and were extremely careful not to damage the walls while doing so. When they arrived at my home they were just as careful and took the time to ask me exactly where everything should go, making sure my wife was 100% satisfied with the placement of each and every item. Movers are good, but broke my sauna glass door! I have been dealing with this issue for almost 4 months seems they don’t want to reimburse me for the sauna, and can’t find a place to fabricate a new door!!!! I’m probably going to get my attorney involved!!!!!!!

Movers were polite and curtious ., although all my furniture was not moved on same day even though I paid ovet $ 3,000 for the move and storage. Then office personel was unhelpful they promised my merchandise to be delivered then next day. After qaiting all day I called them that Saturdays afternoon and then they said it would be delivered the folliwing Monday. This is unacceptable you get paid to move peoples stuff it should be delivered all togethet and on the day you say it will.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience. The guys were extremely efficient and professional. From the moment they showed up, they hustled to get the job done in under 6 hours when it was originally estimated to take between 7.5 and 9. I would recommend to everyone in the area.

My husband and I used Two Men and a Truck for our move from Farmington Hills, MI to Fraser, MI on Friday, December 13, 2019. On the day of the move, we were greeted promptly at 9:00 am by four young men, John (Johnnie), Quinton, Evan, and Jalen. Without exception, each one of these men were courteous, helpful, and most importantly, hard working. They reassured us throughout the move that they would make every effort to ensure that our belongings were properly wrapped, and would be transported safely and efficiently to our new home. The entire move (with cold, freezing weather) took 9.5 hours, despite freezing temperatures and requiring only one thirty minute break for lunch. We were impressed!!! John was the designated leader of this crew and made tremendous effort to ensure that the move was as seamless as possible. Despite the attention to detail (and the carrying of multiple sized boxes and furniture up/down two flights of stairs in our new home) there was minimal damage to just one piece of furniture during this move. We had purchased additional insurance to cover damaged goods, and John, after notifying me of the damage, sent off a request to have the damaged chair fixed. Four out of five stars for this review, as I have yet to hear from the insurance provider who should have contacted me to resolve this issue. The movers receive five stars for the professionalism, determination, and integrity they provided during our move. A very pleasant experience, overall, despite the many stresses of moving!!!We would use Two Men and a Truck again, in a heartbeat!!!

We used Two Men and a Truck for an interstate move. We could not have been more pleased. They were very quick and careful in packing. Because of the distance, they unloaded the following day and were just as efficient. The two guys were friendly and answers all of our questions clearly. Not exactly the kind of service I would use again (since We aren’t moving from Farmington again), but definitely something I’d recommend to anyone looking to do a move, either local or interstate. I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone. I have used movers in the past, but Two Men and a Truck provided the most CARELESS service from beginning to end. I hired them for a simple move of about 1 room worth of furniture, so not many items and no heavy items. The price seemed pretty steep for the job but I knew it was a big company, so I had confidence in their services. Boy was my confidence misplaced. The movers showed up AFTER the delivery window I was given with a huge semi-truck and put all the items in the truck without securing them. So, for 20 miles down the highway my belongings rattled around inside this enormous truck were obviously damaged in the process. The worst part was that I had a brand new flat screen tv in the box padded with Styrofoam and when I took it out it was SHATTERED. It is evident that not only was the box not secured, but they must have also put something heavy on the box to do that level of damage beyond repair. The outside of the box looked like it had been mauled by an animal. I contacted to company and was told by Brett and he needed to contact the VP and I would have a call back in less than 24 hours. TWO WEEKS later I had not heard anything, so I called them back. The representative informed me of the most ridiculous protocol Ive ever heard from a moving company-- they reimburse damaged items at 60 cents per pound. So, my brand new $300 television was ruined by the movers and I received $20 for this after having to be the one to pursue them multiple times. That amount of money wont even cover the cost of having the worthless item responsibly recycled let alone replace the device. Again, the movers were completely careless, and the customer service was nonexistent. The company accepts no responsibility for the damage because it is in the moving contract that they are not liable. Save yourself the time and money by hiring a company that doesnt fill their contract with loopholes in an effort to rip you off.

Made the moving day fun! Thats right. Shelby and Kevin, in the office, made adjustments without costs or complaining when we delayed our move due to a construction delay. The entire moving team, on the day of the move, worked hard, in a few hours, shuffling large items through three floors into our newly renovated offices at the Burroughs Building in Plymouth. No wall chips. No scratches. Ive hired this company this past year four times for personal and professional moves. They are on my speed dial. Youll love working with them.

My first time ever hiring movers to help me move. John and Jalen were professional, punctual, conscientious with my items, and very easy to get along with. Not a single bit of damage to anything. I really appreciate that they used packing blankets and shrink-wrapped almost everything, so I didnt have to worry about upholstered furniture or my mattress getting dirty, any of my furniture getting scuffed, or any drawers coming out. I actually had a blast, because they were so fun to work with. My original intention was to just have them take the furniture and I and friends would take everything else, but this was March 19, when social distancing and partial shut-down were already underway in Michigan, and I ended up with no one to assist me. Thus, I really appreciate that John and Jalen were flexible about transporting boxes that were not on the original quote, while still staying within three hours. Id definitely recommend them, and will use Two Men and a Truck whenever I move again (which hopefully wont be for a while :) )

I had the most phenomenal experience with two men and a truck. Mike and two other men were there to help us with the move. I was by myself and 8 months pregnant and once they found out they did not let me lift a finger! They were very polite and a blast to spend 4 hours with! They moved us from our condo and into the new one within 4 hours!!! I was so nervous the week leading up to the move because my husband had to work and I didn’t want a group of men that were slow, unmotivated, or rude and I had the total opposite and I can’t tell you how much it helped to have such wonderful movers. They showed up on time and assessed all my furniture. Everything was wrapped with care and carried in a way that would preserve the integrity of all my furniture. When they came to my apartment complex they asked where everything should go, and took care to put it all where I wanted. They were careful, clean, and asked questions throughout to make sure I was satisfied. And I was! They worked fast and efficiently! The whole process only took an hour and a half. Brady and I forgot the other movers name, Gave great service. They did not waste any time. We had a hiccup at the storage company. Their truck was to high to clear the building and my storage unit was smaller than I thought. They unloaded my things out/side the building used dollys to get to my unit. They got everything into my unit, never complained or show any sign of frustration. They were very respectful. Just all around good guys. They did have to call for a third person. which Im sure saved me money.😀😀😀

The movers were very friendly and kind. Let’s start there. I hired them to move one piece - large counter. They needed to disassemble the counter, and did not have any tools. We didn’t know they would not have anything because the moving company said they would take apart what was needed. The top glass arrived broke. I was charged a extra hour because they didn’t have proper tools and then it was broken:.Called for three days and the manager does not call me back.. sometimes I call and go to voicemail, and never a call back. The manager was supposed to call the day of damage. Never has bothered to return any call.

They were prompt, polite, efficient and mindful of our belongings and home. I would have those exact two guys move our stuff anytime! They moved quickly and saved me nearly $50 off the initial quote. Great job!

Would not recommend using this company. They sent two people to move my house and one of the two guys worked. The second person they sent was more concerned about hanging out in the truck and telling the other guy what to do. I had everything broken down (Beds, Tables, dressers and washer dryer. They seemed to be dragging the move out so they could make more money. I moved many times and this was a 4 hour job that they tuned into 8-9 hour ordeal so they full day work. I dont typically go online and write reviews about my experiences but the thing that put me over the edge is that they damaged two pieces of furniture. One piece was a nice glass table they wrapped but managed to drag it across the cement and scraped the top of all three legs. The other piece was dresser that I took all the drawers out and they somehow dropped it. The dresser they dropped broke beyond repair. After numerous calls they sent a person out to repair the furniture and the piece they fixed definitely looks like it was repaired. I was told by store manager that I did not purchase the moving insurance so they could only re-reimburse me by weight for the dresser that was broken beyond repair. The total weight added up to $100 dollars and I was told I would receive a check. After 4 months I have not received a check. Every time I try to call this place I get voice mail and they dont return messages. Dont waste your time, hire a professional moving company or do it yourself.

I used Two Men and a Truck this past weekend for a personal move. I just needed them to take large items that wouldnt fit in my car. The initial estimate was high, but it was good for budgeting purposes. The movers were estimated to arrive between 8 and 9 and they came right at 8:30. The entire process just took over an hour and they were swift and courteous the entire time. I absolutely intend to use them for any future moves.

If there was a lower option, I would have selected it in regards to the manager Kevin Walicki and not resolving our situation.Last year they moved a relative, they were paid in full.For 1 bed they took apart, they lost/broke the assembly parts.This left the only option was to sleep on the floor.After repeated a long time, many calls & emails the primary response was WE WILL NOT REPLACE THE BED.They were reported to the BBB and would not respond to the BBB.I read their response 4 days a go and called the number listed 2 times that day, leaving the information they requested and Im not surprised, their response = 0.10/8/19 It has now been almost 1 year with no return call nor any other response - NO REASON, therefore I would still give them a minus score.11/3/19 Im still not surprised they Still havent responded. Since the bed can not be reassembled due to 2 men in a truck mess up, Ill drop off some of the remaining parts at their office. Maybe, if they have a similar repeat incident, they can take care of another customer better than the horrible neglect they gave us.If something goes wrong, DO NOT TRUST THEM!

The two gentlemen came on time and handled the tropical plants that needed to go from the outside back into the house for the winter season. The plants are very large, about 300 lbs and up to 8 feet tall. Needless to say very delicate. You don’t want to break branches. Within an hour the plants where safely inside. There was no leaf broken, hardly any sign that 8 of them made it from the yard back in.Thank you, awesome work. Come spring, we will hire again to place the plants back outside.

They were conscientious of walls, stairs, and most importantly, our furniture and belongings. They used blankets and shrink wrap and took extra time to ensure nothing was damaged. I highly recommend them!

Great experience moving my sister-in-law. They were helpful, professional, and very, very careful in moving everything, especially two large glass china cabinets. Would definitely use them again.

Accommodating on the phone, but disaster on moving day. They miscalculated the truck space required for our move. Given that they scheduled another move later the same day, they were unable to complete our move (the day we were to close on the sale of the house!) As a result, they had to return the following morning (at my insistence) to complete the move. They subsequently invoiced me for the second trip to the house - even though that extra trip was necessitated by their miscalculation and scheduling errors. Only after I raised objections and escalated the issue did we reach a payment settlement.In addition charging me for time due to their blunders, they also tried to charge me for moving insurance (something they neglected to discuss with me on the phone and which I would never have approved given that all the furnishings and households we simply being moved to a donation center). Speaking of donation, Two Men and a Truck failed to obtain a donation receipt - despite my request - from Salvation Army. For all I know, the intended donations fell off the back of the truck and were never delivered to the Salvation Army. Note: I was orchestrating the sale of the house and the move from out of town so I was unable to supervise the movers.Bottom Line:I would not recommend the Farmington Hills office of Two Men and a Truck.

I hired Two Men and a Truck for my move last summer, I needed a fast move and was happy they could accommodate me in my time schedule. It was a divorce move and very emotional for me .They had a scheduling problem but called me to inform me right away but still showed up in the time frame they first quoted me.The move couldn’t have gone smoother even with the tension that was caused by my former spouse they were very attentive and calming. I plan to move again in the next two years and will surely give them a call for that move. Jenny Armour

They were very good men and polite also

The movers arrived 15 minutes before the end of my moving window which was 11am to 1pm. They assessed what needed to be moved which was less than what I mentioned to the staff member over the phone. Moved one box at a time (dragging their feet). Moved a pane of glass without wrapping it. The movers could not dis-assemble and re-assemble my bed in a timely manner (didnt have the proper tools). This function was included in the price I was quoted over the phone. I offered mine as a remedy for this issue. One of the movers dropped my stereo speaker and damaged one of the corners. I have not heard from anyone regarding the repair. They didnt use a dolly to move multiple boxes until they were pressed for time due their need to be at another site to help in that move, at this point they picked up the pace. One of the boxes was dropped while in transition from the truck to the apartment. They had to change my 3 to 5 hour window to a 4 to 6 hour window, the reasoning for this as one of the movers told me it took too long to dis-assemble and re-assemble the bed (again was included in the quote I was given) Both movers said they had not been with the company that long, only one to three months on the job. To summarize my experience, their inexperience and lack of time management cause this move to last much longer than it should have and Im left with a damaged speaker.

EIGHT MONTHS passed, but they did not give any response. They are not taking any action about my claims. They just tell that they will follow up, but I did not get any response. I would not use this anymore since my next moving project.--------------------------------Their service is good until the moving is end. Staffs looks professional, but they sometimes lose my stuffs.Their handling of lost stuffs or damages is so terrible. My issue is not resolved for two months. I am keep contacting, but they are very slow or negligent.I would not recommend this franchise. My money paid is not worth.

Sean & Josh arrived within the time window we agreed upon. They moved 4 very, very, heavy pieces of furniture from the garage to a second floor bedroom. They were very nice, polite and professional. I will be calling 2 Men & a Truck for my next move!! Thank you!
