Really wanted to like this place. My first experience was good. The doctor was great and friendly. Front desk staff - not so much. Especially once I broke my glasses. I had called them the day it happened and it took them 5 days to get back to me. One of her first questions was “did you glue them.” Of course I did. I can’t go 5 days without glasses and they’re my only pair for financial reasons. Long story short, my warranty was considered voided for that reason. No empathy or any help offered from her besides spending $130 for a new pair. No thanks - I guess I’ll take my business elsewhere. I can get the same exact pair, plus brand new lenses, for $90 online.

Dr. O is a great guy. I have no complaints.Nevertheless, my eyes seem to cause folks problems. In fairness, Dr. O has tried to correct my complaints regarding vision / prescription on several occasions, but it seems Im stuck with glasses that cause pain, warped vision and headaches. I have followed their advice of wearing the glasses for a few weeks. Still the pain and warped, distorted vision.I asked about a refund and met with the 30 day rule...this after being told to keep wearing the prescription.Im now out hundreds and my insurance says I cannot use their services until 2021. Frustrating.A follow up review:I should note that I was contacted about the issues I was dealing with. I am hopeful a viable plan to adjust the prescription is in the works.As I said above, Dr O is a great guy, so my confidence in a usable pair of glasses being in the works is high.

I’ve gone to Advanced family eye care for years. I like knowing I’m seeing the same doctor every appointment and he knows me and my eyes. At my last appointment We had a long talk about LASIK surgery and Dr. Olsen took a lot of time answering my questions and explaining the procedure.

Dr. Olsen is super nice and so are the girls in his office. Hes been my doctor for several years and I love going to him.

This is an excellent professional and friendly place. They were able to examine my disabled husband and his wheelchair with great ease. It was a wonderful experience we are just thrilled and will certainly tell other people with handicap family members of this great place to get your eyes take taken care of. Everyone was friendly and extremely helpful.

My family switched over a year ago to Dr Olsen. Love him and his office staff. They are good with us old people and great with my young grandchildren. Very thorough, very helpful from exams, insurance and glasses replacement. Never act like you are a burden.

Respectful staff and great Optometrist. I do wish they had a wider selection of glasses. I usually chose the same 2 pairs every time and alternate them every year.

We feel so lucky to have such a great eye doctor. Doctor Olson has always made us feel comfortable and makes sure we are happy with our visit. Even in cases of emergencies or unexpected events, he makes time for us, and helps us get things figured out. He takes the time to explain what tests are being done, and what information they give. I feel like he teaches me about my eyes. He explains in terms we can understand, never overly technical or condescending. Overall, we have always had a great experience with Advanced Family Eyecare, and recommend it to anyone and everyone.

Great place. Dr Olson is patient and explains things well. I switched over and started bringing my kids also. it came highly recommended and has lived up to the hype,

The dr is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The receptionist on the other hand is not, especially the one with glasses, she’s always so rude and when I ask questions she seems irritated and started speaking to me like I was dumb.

I love the environment, friendly staff, and Dr. Olson! I always have lots of questions and hes able to help me. After seeing Dr. Olson for a couple years I decided to get lasik, he walked me through what to expect took care of my pre-op and post -op so I only had to make one trip to Albuquerque. I would recommend this office to anyone!!

Dr Olson is the best! He does a very thorough eye exam and always takes the time to answer any questions you have.

Upon arrival the two receptionists were talking to one another about how over it they were and how one of them was going to lose it soon. They then tried to tell my husband he had the wrong appointment date, when he had scheduled one week prior due to his work schedule.After their gossip, they handled my husbands paperwork and were pretty snotty. They werent very friendly nor were they welcoming. While waiting for my husband to finish his exam they sat on their phones and were on facebook and constantly texting, and talking back and forth like they were in highschool.Unprofessional.However the Doctor was polite, and my husbands exam with him went well.

Doctor Olson is amazing! He spends time explaining everything and is very thorough.

I have only been to Dr. Olsons office twice but both times everyone was very pleasant and helpful. Made the environment comfortable.
