Highly recommend. Was looking for some new comfortable glasses. Lots of styles to choose from. They were patient and went over and above to help me with great Customer Service. Wow. Recently I went to Stanton for a new prescription and glasses. It was my first time there and it was fun! I also felt the remote examiner didn’t not lessen the experience. She answered questions and was pleasant. They have such a great staff. I got my glasses today and it’s the clearest I’ve seen for a long time. And I love the styles. I plan on being a long-term customer.

I’d like to thank Brittney for being such a good salesman. She helped me pick out a pair of glasses and walked me through the exam room which was extremely easy and simply. If you guys are needing new glasses or new to getting glasses I recommend going to Stanton optical and asking for Brittney she will make your visit smooth and very informative.

Eye exam was virtual. The provider was over the monitor and she was professional, but I felt the place itself was not clean. There were only 2 employees, which one was in the back with a patient, the 2nd was working with another out in front and no greeting was given. I had an appointment, and it still was greeted after he completed the sale.. He could have said, hello... I will be with you shortly. About the time I was greeted and was taken to the back, it was 15 min late. Not a bad time, but they did not clean the eye machines they used after me. I got into the exam room... then she decided to clean the eye machine after the guy used the machine 16 mins before. Thar was a relief. I am happy with my exam, but the proficiency of the people there was a unprofessional.

10/10 recommend this location. They helped me get a pair of glasses that works perfect and is hands down the best pair of glasses I’ve ever owned. I have absolutely awful eyesight and I was able to get a pair that had THIN lenses, something I’ve never had. The staff was kind and efficient. I will be scheduling to get my contacts through them as well.

Let me start off by saying this place is very clean and has great staff with amazing customer service. The office was very clean and well organized. I worked with Madison who was very helpful. She helped me pick out my frame then helped me decide what lenses best fit my prescription. 10/10 recommend to everybody and will be back.

This place is awesome they are very friendly and helpful. I was surprised they had so many frames to choose from. Chris helped me find the perfect frames that fit my face. He let me take my time and was not at all pushy. A lot of places only care about selling glasses and not about what is right for the customer but not here they care about their customers. This day and age that is hard to find. They have glasses there that are not to expensive and they have so many different brands. I wish more businesses cared about their customers the way they do but most just care about money. Chris let me know all the options I could get with my new glasses but let me choose what I wanted. I have been to other places and they made me feel like I had to get everything but at Stanton they understood that I had a budget. This is the first time I have been here and I liked there service so much that I went to them and got my prescription safety glasses for work from them as well. I would recommend everyone giving them a try you won’t be disappointed.

Place was clean, sanitized, and everything was organized. Called at 11 am and was told it is was inexpensive and had an opening for appointment at 1:00 pm. I got it and staff was friendly, was directed to exam area right away where everything had updated equipment. Last place was out of a horror movie. Got pics of inside of my eyes without getting dilated. Than after sanitizing the room went in with doc. So the exam and contacts all cost 1/3 of the other place...just $89 other place was $280. Great place!!! Just wish I met the guy thats trying to buy up frames in the commercials

Dont ever go to Stanton Eyewear here in Farmington NM. They dont know what theyre doing. I received my prescription glasses and they were wrong prescription. They told me to continue to wear them so Ill get use to them. But they were wrong prescription to begin with.The customer service is awful. The customers should be given the opportunity that they are accurate about their prescription. If you cant see with the new prescription we, as customer should be taken seriously. Instead they tell you to wear your prescription glasses until you get use to them. I needed my prescription to be renewed and everywhere else was booked until November. I made an appointment with Stanton while I should have waited until November. I wanted to give them a no star but thats impossible. Its sad because I had confidence in them.

Came here about 2 weeks ago, the place was sanitized and very clean. The people working their were nice. Called for a eye exam and the person who helped me Rea (was her name) was very patient and understanding. Well the poor customer service has continued for Stanton Optical in Farmington, NM. Despite escalating the complaint of them not shipping my glasses, I was told they would call me within 48 hrs. 6 days go by and NO phone call despite calling them 3 times. So twice this am I called them again and was assured my glasses were in Farmington, almost 2 hrs away. So I drive the 2 hrs to Farmington (one way), only to find out thst they weren’t there because they had shipped them a few days earlier!!! But the computer said they were at their store!! Do I drove the 2 hrs back home!!!This place seems to rely on quantity of patients, not quality of service. If you have any problems, there is no help available.

Very very bad customer service. Cant see out of bi focal part. Very blurry. Of course i am the one that is wrong. I am very rude. Never been treated so badly by a manager. Wont give me my money back. Would of been very happy to not take the glasses and get my money back and takd my business elsewhere

Came in with my brother and was helped by the Assistant sales manager, Jentry, she helped my brother choose his frames and everything he wanted with his lenses, she made the whole experience quick and easy. Josiah who did the pre-test was really nice and made him feel really comfortable throughout the exam. We will definitely be back!

I didn’t like the way they handled things here. It took much longer than I was told to receive my glasses and the sales associate seemed kinda sneaky. I ended up paying way more money than I was initially told I would spend and the glasses broke right away. It’s almost impossible to get thru to anyone on the phone too. I loved the concept of this business, but the management must be terrible cuz the rest of the store reflects this. Disappointing.

The customer service is always excellent! I was helped right away with no problem, I got my glasses fixed within a matter of minutes, and most of all didn’t break the bank. I would definitely recommend it if you are the market for a new pair of glasses!

I am so disgusted at the treatment my 92 year old grandmother and 70 year mother k at this clinic today! These receptionist should be ashamed of themselves! How dare they not make an exception to use the restroom. My poor mother had to try and get to target to use the restroom. It was too late! Mom had to buy grandmother new clothes and wipes! Your business stinks, I know if it was a white grandmother this would not have happened!

We made an appointment for 11:30am We were there on time with two people ahead of us apparently walk ins. So they dont actually make appointments you just walk in so basically my appointment was not honored. Also apparently I entered some information incorrectly into their public tablet that they pass around to all the customers for everyone to touch during covid 19 instead of them just entering the information themselves and they cannot change a data entry in their database. I was late getting back to work without them ever seeing my daughter. Thanks for absolutely nothing! Worthless and lazy!

Bro, this place was packed and had an unprofessional schedule had people booked for two times overlapped, the amount of people in the exam room was over 10people for the covid state mandatory. They eye exam were not even face to face but a lady on screen switching between frames. Dont waste your time and money here 😩 my prescription didnt even come out as accurate. The wait as well over 5hrs

I called over the phone to ask if my insurance was accepted by them. The lady on the phone said yes so I made an appointment for my daughter and I. The assistant helping with the eye exam clearly didn’t want to be there and cared nothing about customer service. I mentioned to her what insurance I had and she said she’ll take it after the exam. After we got our exams done, I mentioned my insurance again and then she told me that my insurance was out of network. She told me I had to pay out of pocket and that my insurance would reimburse me. She told me I had to pay for the exam if I didn’t get glasses. I asked about the offer that was advertised on their window and I was told that only certain glasses qualified which when I looked at the selection looked out dated and were very few. I paid around 600 for my daughters and my glasses. When I picked up my glasses my mother in law asked about the deal on the window and the lady told her it included all glasses in the store. She completely lied about the advertisement. I told my mother in law my experience and told her that’s not what they told me and would not recommend this place. They definitely scam you into their fake deals and they definitely withhold information and give misleading information about insurance carriers.

I had a tremendous experience with Stanton optical of Farmington. The staff was unbelievably friendly and top notch as far as knowledge. I ended up walking away with contacts and glasses. I felt heard as far as what by budget and needs were. Fantastic place. Not to mention the safety guidelines for covid19 were in place and followed. Very clean and up to date facility.

The worst experience Ive ever had getting glasses. The price they advertise is not what I got. In fact it cost over 150$ more then advertised. They added expensive features I did not ask for and without my consent. I was told when I walked in the deal was on all their glasses but when it came time to pick mine out I was only offered a weird drawer of glasses to pick from that held less then 20 pairs. When I got my pair the arms were loose and I informed them of this. They shrugged me off then said if I had problems or they broke they would fix or replace them within a two year limit. Well not surprisingly, within a few months the arms kept disconnecting and almost caused me to crash my truck when it happened while driving.I brought in my broken pair to be fixed or replaced and they were going to charge me full price for a new pair!!! Even though I was originally told they would fix any problems for free that happened within the first 2 years. After getting my prescription printed I was offered an 80% discount on a new pair when they realised I was going to go somewhere else. Which I did. Id rather pay double somewhere else then give these crooks another dime.False advertising, awful quality, and swindlers. Wish I had read the reviews before going because clearly this happens a lot there. So disgusted.

Areland, the ASM, was really great helping me with a warranty issue on my lost pair of glasses. Thankfully my progressive lenses were covered and I just had to replace the frames. Customer Service is great here, which I think says a lot since Im driving out of state and past every other eye care place to keep me coming back here. I feel like they really do work with you on cash pricing.

Walk away. Being that it was my very 1st exam and buying glasses, I expected a much more informative experience. They dont ever want to refund any amount of money what so ever, even if they are at fault. I paid 277 dollars and still havent received my whole purchase, its been 6 weeks.

Rachel was so helpful and friendly. She was super patient and helped me find two pairs of regular glasses and a super cute pair of sunglasses. The optometrist was great as well. He took his time and gave me alot of very helpful advice regarding wearing contacts and eye care. Overall it was a great experience, everyone was friendly and inviting. Rachel also made sure my glasses fit perfectly making daily wear much more comfortable. Best place in town.

I went with my fiancé to get glasses. We asked them if they accepted my insurance. They confirmed they did. They went all the way to end when my glasses would be 300 for one pair, for a slight prescription, before they told me that they did not take my insurance. The lady doing my order was also super new and would make mistakes. The manager came over and he was extremely rude. I just want a refund. I tried calling customer service and I have been on hold for two hours and counting. Do not waste your time here!!!

When call I get a call center I tried asking if they took my insurance and the man said we take all insurance.well well when we get there they tell me my insurance was outside the Network 🙄 I knew I should of walked away but kids needed there glasses. You dont see a real doc u see a web Cam doctor 🤔! No one helps u with picking out glasses or finding correct fit.we stood there for a good 45 mins before anyone helped us ended up paid 300.00 for glasses out of pocket. Told we get our glasses 1to 2 weeks that they would call us or email us. Guess what didnt happen my husband decided to stop in Friday and only our adult glasses were in my boys still not wast was told be in Monday Tuesday. you guess right no phone calls no emails husband went to get today Tuesday and only pair glasses our in not the other childs.🤷 Please do not go here they are very unprofessional.They dont even frame your glasses to your face?😡not a good eye doctor place.! Ordered a pair of glasses. So far havent received them. Status keeps showing shipping delays and its approaching one month since i ordered. I could of went down the street and got them in less than a week. I know they dont do refunds so its charge back time{edit} so i gave them an extra two weeks. Still no glasses and shows delayed. each week i call they say itll be at the store next monday. Finally got fed up and asked to cancel and for refund. getting the runaround (extension busy, we will call you back...). Keep in mind you will get a call center from India, even if you call the local store number. Processing the charge back with my bank now.. Stay away from this place!!!

All the pluses about going here were 1. Easy to make appt. 2. Great staff 3. It was quick 4. Gave me some discounts to afford to pay for my glasses.... Down side the original cost of 1 pair of glasses would have been $640 BUT I did need some special additions like UV protection anti glare etc. As I have chronic dry eye.... Overall 4 stars. Oh and lastly they only had 1 brand of almost frameless 👓... 😊

They will say they take your insurance and change it at the last second. They read off a huge list of expenses and extra charges and say theyre discounting it down when in reality there are no discounts, they just read it off to sound like they are giving you a deal. This place is a scam unless you want super cheap low quality glasses, if you are getting any options like transitions or different lenses literally anywhere else is cheaper. The digital eye exam they have you do in the back room is awful, the people doing it rush and I am pretty sure my prescription is completely wrong. They just want to get you in an out as fast as possible and get you to buy an expensive set of glasses.

We were greeted right away and felt welcome! The eye exam was prompt but thorough and they noticed things about my eyes that my previous eye doctor missed. Sara was super helpful when we picked out frames and she really listened to what we needed. Getting new glasses is usually such a chore but it was an absolute pleasure to do business with Sara! We will definitely be back when we shop for our next set of frames!

Do not go here. I have been trying to get my glasses from them now for 7 weeks. First I called after two weeks and they said they were ready for pickup. I came all the way down to Farmington from NORTH DAKOTA and specified I needed them shipped to me. Had me repeat to them numerous times that I could not pick them up and needed them shipped. Called again a week later as I still had not gotten my glasses, they said they will call me in 24 hours to update me. Its been another week. On hold with them currently, for 20 min. Paid good money for my glasses, hopefully they can refund me and get their act together. Incredibly frustrating.Update: they just called me back. Said that theyve been trying to call me to verify my address?? They are STILL there to pick up! Ive verified it with them countless times!! Also have not once missed a call from them, I have my phone with me at all times, I would have answered. She ended the call with we overnighted them for you but if they arent there tomorrow then it will be a couple days. So frustrated with the whole process, if they arent here soon Im just going online to order from someone else.

It was quick and easy and the eye exam is actually a very cool experience. I was helped by Riley during and after my exam. She was an extremely friendly and helpful girl. I appreciated her honesty and patience. She eased the frustration of finding glasses that not only fit my face but match my look. She helped me find two perfect pairs at a very good price. They are much lighter and better quality than what I had and are guaranteed for 2 years. I was called to pick up my new glasses exactly 2 weeks later just as I was promised. I had broken my glasses a few weeks back and need a new pair fast, but I spent 300 dollars on mine. I was told about Stanton Optical from a friend of mine. I went in and it was very fast and easy and the environment was wonderful. I was helped by an amazing employee named Kyle who greeted my right away and helped me through my whole process even showed me how to do my contacts. I would recommend this place to everyone and if u can be seen by Kyle he was awesome to work with!!!

My husband and I went into the store today for the first time. The wait was minimal before Trevor was able to help us. He was very attentive, always greeted people as they came in and let them know someone would be right with them. The prices were great and he helped us out with even more discounts. Told us our glasses would be 14 days, which is standard time for my prescription everywhere. Highly recommended.

After a year of bubble gum holding my lopsided, broken glasses together, I decided it was time for a new pair. The exam was quick and doc was patient and professional. STRONGLY RECOMENDED!! I was helped by Trevor when I went in just a few days back. They had the buy one pair get one of equal or less value free. My overall visit was amazing! Trevor set me up with an amazing deal and amazing glasses. He worked with me on pricing and explaining the coverage. I couldnt be more pleased with the costumer service and professional attitude that was provided. I came in after a long day with a grumpy toddler and was still treated amazing with a smile through it all. IF YOU NEED GLASSES THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!! OSHA rated safety glasses are two weeks out or other specialized but if its just prescription glasses with nothing to extreme they do it right there in the shop and have it done in about 15 min. Again I highly recommend Stanton Optical for all vision needs.

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. My husband put in an order for his glasses and we were guaranteed by the store clerk they would be there in 2 weeks 2 1/2 at the very latest. For various reasons we need them asap. If I had known what an awful experience this would be we would have walked out and gotten the glasses elsewhere. After 2 and a half weeks he still hadnt heard anything at all. He called the automated line and they couldnt find his information so he called the store. They said its on the truck and will be there the next day. He doesnt get a phone call the next day so he finally calls before he heads over there and they have not arrived. They said - oh its on the truck it will be there tomorrow. (Sure.) He calls again today and guess what - they are not there. What do you think he was told? They are on the truck and will be there tomorrow. At this point I dont believe that so I try to call customer service and it just rang with no answer, no voicemail. I called the store and the man I spoke told me the same canned response- its on the truck and will be there tomorrow. I said I needed an actual answer not the same response every day when obviously it isnt accurate. He then tells me his supervisor will call in 24 hours to explain what has happened. What? I told him I dont need an explanation I just want to know the actually date the glasses will be here. He must have gotten upset with my frustration because he became his tone changed pretty quickly and he tells me he is not going to risk his job to give me information he doesnt have. Again, what? If we werent guaranteed in the first place the glasses would be there in 2 1/2 weeks we wouldnt have this problem because I would have happily gone elsewhere since I up front mentioned the time crunch we were in. Save yourself the hassle!

As you enter the store, youre greeted with a smile. Not only are you acknowledged, you feel welcomed. The store was clean, almost pure. As I was having an eye exam done, the atmosphere was so comfortable. Quite lovely, actually. Its the little things, the little details and Stanton Optical succeeded my expectations. Now, to the employee that helped me, Rachel. She was so professional and very polite, an angel. We walked the store, frame after frame, no luck. She was patient, this one, but I knew she wouldnt let me down. There it was, the perfect frame. She had me try it on and I was sold. I had my glasses done within an hour, but wait! Theres more! Uh oh, would you look at that, my frames are too wide. Guess who saved the day? Rachel did, thats who. She adjusted them and made them a perfect fit. I have gone to Eyemart for years because that was really the only place to go, but I always felt like I was doing them a favor going there. But, not anymore, theres a new place in town! It’s a decent place. During the COVID-19 pandemic, I found myself desperately needing lenses and came to Stanton Optical because I heard they were a great option!Right off the bat, I felt a little out of place while there. My eye exam was done by video chat? The optometrist was not there in person, which is understandable but it was very difficult for me to talk to him. I tried to tell him about what I was experiencing but he couldn’t hear me (possibly because of the mask I was wearing, or poor video connection) and before I knew it, the exam was over. I was led out of the room with no instructions so I asked what to do next. (Really not the place if you’ve never had glasses before like me.)I was led into the show room where plenty of glasses on display. As I walked around, I kept getting the same 2 workers asking me if I needed help despite me already saying no multiple times. Annoying, but they’re just doing their job. Not a big deal to me.I picked 2 decent pairs of glasses and wanted to get an opinion on which one looks better. Okay, this is where everything goes downhill.The employee who I was working with would not let me only buy one pair! I kept trying to say “can I just get one” but he would interject with “but they’re the same price! You’ll get a discount!” I was diagnosed with anxiety one year ago, so I struggle when people won’t listen to me. I felt very uncomfortable so I just agreed and put my head down.Now I feel so silly for not just putting my foot down but I also recall saying no multiple times. It was a very strange and honestly scary experience to not be listened to.My final bill ended up being $525 for 2 pairs of glasses. Ridiculous to me, because I was told by the employee it was a “buy one get one free” deal, and that the other glasses costs “nothing” however the bill states otherwise. The worker added on a blue lens filter and scratch resistance (he didn’t ask me either, but I did want both of those. Keep that in mind before they charge you).The worst part? When I went in to pick up my glasses, I immediately noticed the right side looked very bad. I pointed this out and the worker simply said I was the one mistaken because it can take a few days to get used to it. I felt unheard AGAIN.Now, I have to go back and get another eye exam done in order to fix it. I’ve had both pairs for around 2 weeks and my eyes haven’t adjusted to it at all. My right eye especially. It’s blurry and makes my eye strain when I wear it.This is not the place to go if you have anxiety, or maybe bring someone with you. Also, if you’ve never had glasses before, maybe consider going elsewhere because they aren’t very helpful in that regard. I think if you already have a prescription that works, this is a neat place! Just be weary of what they’re charging you for, and understand that they might not listen to you if you’re not assertive enough, which shouldn’t be a problem in the first place.UPDATE:I called them earlier this week. Monday or Tuesday. I was told I’ll get a call back in 48 hours so I can redo my eye exam. It’s Friday and no call. I had to call them AGAIN and was told the same thing. Don’t go here they waste your money and your time. Will be bringing this up to customer service and filing a complaint if I don’t get a call Monday. I paid way too much for such poor service.UPDATE 2: lmao don’t go here. They’re so unprofessional and WILL rip you off ☺️

I stopped at Stanton optical after work, and was immediately greeted at the door. The person helping me was Rachael, the assistant manager for the store. She was excellent!!! Helped me find what I was looking for and got me a great deal, even though my insurance didn’t cover any part of the frames or lenses. My glasses were ready in 20 minutes! Can’t get better than that. Overall best experience I’ve had in a professional optical institution!!

I came here today on August 5,2020 I would not recommend this place a guy who was helping my friend was being very rude to her. So again I say I DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Decided to try a new place of eyewear and behold a place that I truly am thankful for visiting! First the eye exam was quick and professional!! And then Rachael was super helpful!! She helped me pick out frames that matched my style and made the whole experience awesome!! So glad I came here and will definitely be back for more glasses. Thank you Rachael!!!

I honestly wish i could 5 star this place ive had better customer service when it comes to optometry. its a beautiful building sure and of course that 2 frames for 59.95 plus free eye exam sign outside the building can really reel you in but i hate to say its an honest scam! I went in today and payed $7 less than $200 for one pair of glasses. I saw the sign and also had a friend who referred me to this place because apparently she payed $100 even for her frames and visit...why would my visit be any different. I enjoyed the doctor helping me read the certain letters but the fact that staff could giggle and laugh behind his back as he left was even more epic like this is customer service people. All in all i rate this service a 1 star because it was just a disappointment and i thought i was getting a good deal. I honestly recommend somebody explain my payment and not just rush me into a lie. Even if all the signs say buy one get one free its not accurate.

I haven’t had my eyes checked nor have worn contacts in quite some time... I went in nervous for the process but Kallan made me feel so welcomed and had such great service!! I’m so excited about my new glasses! Highly recommend.

I went in to pick out a new pair of glasses I was expecting it to take forever but Riley helped me a lot with picking out 3 very cute frames that fit me very well. I got a GREAT deal Im walking out with two regular pairs of glasses and one pair of sunglasses! I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone I know it was super FAST and very friendly!!

My wife and I saw this new eye glass place for the first time. We decided to drop in after having a difficult time finding a good pair of eye glasses for her. Trevor immediately welcomed us with a greeting and a smile and quickly offered to help us find glasses for her. He found a pair within minutes and I was able to convince her that she looked good. Trevor’s help turned an all day event into an affordable two hour episode. He offered us great conversation, new information, affordable pricing, and his full attention during our entire experience. This is the first time we have been here and it has been a fantastic experience! We will return when the time comes.

Best optical exam and service I have received in a very long time. I was so impressed by the customer service from Kallan, Riley and Trevor. What a great team of people to work with. I was able to get an exam within 1 hour of my request and glasses within 3 hours out the door.

Im still waitibg on glasses they keep saying 6 business days!! I live in santa fe went to Farmington.it does not take 6 days believe me. Poor service they should care more than just taking money

I was looking for a pair of prescription sunglasses, but did not want to spend what another optical shop in town was wanting to charge me for my second pair, so I thought I would just try Stanton Optical out. This place is new in town and was willing to give me a very good deal. I should have used Stanton Optical for my first pair of glasses. I paid more for them at another optical shop even after my insurance paid their portion. I will definitely be using them again. Trevor and Kaplan did an amazing job at finding me the best deal in town.

It was a 5 star treatment for us. Kallan helped us and he drove a HARD bargain but was definitely good to us. He saved us a pretty penny, which can go a long ways around the holidays. He made us laugh but was very professional. :)
