Whats not to like about this place? Its clean, the employees are friendly and professional, Its safe. Well there is one thing. When we moved in we had no intentions of moving out we needed some Extra Space. Not long after signing on the dotted line and moving our stuff in they raised the price of our storage unit. Once you move everything in you arent going to move it right back out, so what a great time to increase the price. Although frustrated we decided to stay and pay. Well Once again I got a notice they were raising the price of our storage unit again. In less than a years time the increase of our storage unit was almost 100%. When I called I was informed they look at rates and availability and make changes like this all the time and increase rates when needed. I was also informed the average time a person rents from Extra Space is six months, I wonder why. You also know they never lower your rates once they have been increased. So if you are happy with constant increases in your storage unit rates and never knowing what you will be paying from one month to the next this is the place to be. I feel it is dishonest and fraudulent and I dont do business with companies like this. I would never consider renting a storage unit there again.

We were so pleased with the service we received from Extra Space Storage. We are renting in Kaysville, UT. I mention the location because the manager there went above and beyond to help out with our renting experience. He answered every question and was so personable and kind. The unit we rented had something on the floor from the previous renter. Although the floor had been cleaned and Im sure our belongings would have been fine, Don, the manager, covered the floor with cardboard boxes for us just to be safe. The facility itself is very clean and safe and comfortable. We were very satisfied with our experience.Shelly

Don at the Farmington location is excellent! He is knowledgeable, friendly & made the move-in simple & hassle free. He goes above and beyond to help. The units are clean & indoor climate controlled. Easy access with hand carts for moving items & indoor loading/unloading. The site is secure with keypad only access, come & go anytime. I would not go anywhere else for storage space. Worth the peace of mind & worth the price.

Excellent storage facility for your personal property that matters most. Thus is a clean and climate controlled environment. Don, the manager, is always aware of his customer’s and personally assists them their needs. He phoned me when I inadvertently did not lock my storage unit. If he sees I need an extra cart he will find one for me. I like this facility. My personal property is well cared for.

Great management!Don took us on a tour of the facility before renting to my wife and I. We got a great deal online and havent had a problem. We have been renting more than a year! The facility is spotless and they really take pride in how nice the floors look.I would recommend this place/company to anyone and everyone.

Its been great! Don has been awesome in helping us with any problems. The facility is clean, well lit and very well maintained. The only thing that I didnt know was that rent increases. But other than that, its been fine.

I have had a storage unit for quite some time now and during that time I have came perilously close to losing that unit on numerous occasions.Don Gaither and I have worked closely when my due dates have come up. He has taken the time to contact me by email or texting my phone to remind me that my bill was coming due and how much time I had before it went up for auction.In doing all of that he has remained poised, calm, kind, and respectful of my time and inability to pay until the very last day. This man is an asset to this business and I just wanted somebody to know how much I appreciate him.

Awesome place. Clean. I love that it is in doors. Its not freezing cold or blazing hot when you go to your storage unit. I have rented from here twice. If I need a place to store stuff again I will be back.

He also was able to give me a great deal on a unit. I love that this is month to month and that they prorate the last month if you give them notice a few days before the billing date. I just toured the space today and got a new 10 x 10 storage unit. These are indoors with temperature controlled facilities and very well kept. I was impressed with the cleanliness and the convenience. Storage units I’ve had in the past have been extremely dirty and that is not the case here

Nice facility but I dont care for their practices. You can sign up for a unit online and get the online rate but they will continually raise your monthly rate until you are paying way more than you signed up for. Feels dishonest and is not a practice I care for.

Clean, temperature controlled, dust free, well lit, friendly service, quick answer, I am so impressed!!Honestly I didn’t think temperature controlled would be a big deal, but man was it nice. The last storage unit I rented left my stuff sooooo dusty and gross, that wasn’t a problem at all with this one.One of the days I was moving out Don brought me a bottle of water. I hadn’t eaten that morning and the person that was supposed to help me move was late. This small act of kindness made my burden a little lighter and helped me through a rough day.

It’s very rare that I get my door opened for me, by anyone let alone, a woman whom I have never met.To receive kindness in unexpected ways is a treat everyone should savor and reflect upon when making astute reviews.I have never done this process before. The process of starting over, like all humans, I don’t like unexpected change. Yet, life has a funny way of making sure you learn to embrace it. However, this company especially the lady who helped me identify my unit, has helped me decide that certain package were better than others, the offers were reasonably and affordable. All around making the transition from home & security to storage unit and uncertainty smooth. I came in @ 11:16AM and I left @ 11:49, in that time I was given a thorough walk through, shown 2 units, educated on the best combination of promotional offers based off of my life situation, given keys and a code and taught how to use, navigate and access my belongings.If you are like me, starting over, having support in unforeseen ways, makes life’s journey a little less lonely and a lot more encouraging. I am grateful for the kind woman who opened my door and treated me like a person in need of help rather than a mark to reach her quota. I can’t speak for all the Extra Space Storage location. However, the one in Farmington UT not only saved my day but soften my heart. You should store here.

This facility is immaculate and well lit. Ive always had a flat cart to move things around. The nice man at the desk helped me and my fiancee find the best possible rate for one of their larger units. They even have drive-in bays for large furniture and weather. Im having a great experience here.EDIT: I just moved out of the unit and I cant recommend enough. Really easy to end the lease, really friendly. The assistant manager took really good care of my family.

Doug was so friendly and helpful getting us into our storage unit. He offered great suggestions and made sure we got the right size and options. The facility is extremely clean. It is also secure with good lighting. Very impressed by the entire experience!

Don G. was great help and went above and beyond to help accommodate my wife and I while moving. On top of helping with the storage unit, I had to leave a car overnight for a couple days and being that the parking situation was a little chaotic he said if I parked in front of the building(which is shared with other businesses and usually somewhat filled) that the cameras will watch at night and during the day he will check up on our vehicle. Sure enough I got a text each day letting me know the car was fine. I want to say thank you to Extra Space Storage for having such great employees at this location and a huge thank you to Don G for all of your help.

Met with Martha today to get all set up. She was friendly, fast, and personable. Facility was clean with reasonable prices (some of the units were on sale when we booked). The extra carts at the entrances are a huge help. We paid for the unit, insurance, and admin fee. They also have locks, boxes, and other moving supplies for purchase too.

I enjoyed how safe and secure this place was. It was very clean and as we are moving our stuff out the manager of the property saying that we didnt have enough straps he let us borrow a couple of straps that were left behind I would recommend this place to anyone looking to store their valuables or just need extra space in in their home.

It’s nice to have something right off I15 & highway 89 to store my valuables. It’s nice to be able to store things inside during the summer and winter months.

It has been a pleasure to use Extra Space Storage for the past two years. The location has been very close and convenient for my needs. Its neat as a pin every time I go to my unit and I love that its climate controlled.My only two complaints are furst that the they charge you for insurance when my homeowners already covers my storage. Second issue is the increase in rent which goes up at least once a year and the increases are significant enough that I can no longer afford it.The staff has been exceptionally professional and helpful. They return calls promptly which is great. Im just sorry I cant afford to continue to use the service they provide.
