Mrs. Deborah did an amazing job in my baby’s 6th birthday cake! She actually out did herself with this design! When I contacted Specialty Cakes & Desserts on short notice, Mrs. Deborah was able to fit my order in. I did not have a design in mind but showed her my daughter’s invitation and asked that the cake flavor be strawberry. When I arrived to pick up my order, Mrs. Deborah brought my daughters cake out and it brought me to tears! I expected something simple like rainbow colored frosting but this was beautiful. She included hearts, rainbows, and even my daughter’s name! Beautiful touch! And the taste, the taste was perfect amount of sweet that was not overpowering. The cake was moist too! Ms. Franklin just made my wedding cake which was both strawberry and vanilla almond. Her cake is so good it tastes like ice cream! Mrs. Franklin has made two cakes and two sets of cupcakes for my daughters over the past year. They were extremely pleased. I worked with Ms. Deborah Franklin for the past 10 months to create a vision of what I wanted my wedding cake to look like and everything looked great! Not only was the cake beautiful and delicious, I had fun with every correspondence. Ms. Franklin is very sweet and very funny. My dad and step dad picked up our wedding cake and I jokingly asked Ms. Franklin to scold them when they came in to make sure they carefully transported the carefully. The price was fair, the cake was beautiful and tasted great, and the experience was even better.

The cakes are scrumptious, especially the chocolate cakes and raspberry champagne cakes! I have had only great experiences at this bakery. I also strongly recommend that you try the ginger cookies. My fiancée ordered a cake for me all the way from Indonesia and I didnt know and I got it today! Love you Gia btw! When it was handed to me it was heavy! I never had cake that heavy before. When I opened the box in my room, it was like I was in a different place it seems. It sounds crazy but I imagine I was in some posh bakery shop in France or something and had treats everywhere and I didnt know which one to pick. It gave me that feeling from the aroma alone! When I tasted the cake, I said some explicit words. Like gosh! That is the most gosh dang tasting cake I ever gosh tasted in my gosh life and Ive tasted a lot of gosh cakes! Replace the gosh with something more Rated R! ahaha I love the cake I love the quality of it! The fresh strawberries complemented the cake when eaten together and the crust crumbs(sorry if that incorrect verbiage) with the dried strawberries...awesome job! I got a smash cake here for my sons 1st birthday photo shoot. I told her an idea of what I wanted with 2 separate cakes and she combined them beautifully and the cake came out gorgeous. She was timely with calling me back, got what I wanted perfect and the cake was, WOW... really really good. The cake itself was sweet and the frosting had just a SLIGHT (not gross, I swear) taste of salt so it balances perfect together and Ive never had a cake so good (you bet I had some after he smashed it! haha)

I found Deborah by a Google search. She was the highest--rated in the Fayetteville area. After working with her, I can honestly say she BEYOND deserves this rating. Her cakes not only look AMAZING, but they taste AMAZING. Her lemon cake with raspberry filling and white chocolate frosting was very moist and delicious! Her attention to detail in the cake décor was incredible. She created a beret for the cake that not only had the appropriate unit patch and rank, but had a fold down the front that rivals those of most Soldiers! As a veteran, I was impressed with her accuracy, and it was because of her attention to detail. You can tell she takes pride in what she does and it shows. Her shop, which is attached to her house, is spotless and clean. She is the NICEST person to work with, too. She was in constant communication with me and even called to make sure I didnt have any last-minute requests. When I showed up not sure how to transport the cake, she helped me arrange it in my vehicle and gave me a non-skid sliding surface to put it on (side note--think ahead, customers!). Additionally, I gave her a budget and she actually stayed BENEATH the budget. Unbelievably reasonable. I would have paid $30-40 more for the cake we received! Our military achievement cake was the talk of the party. I would HIGHLY recommend Deborah to anyone near Fort Bragg looking for a superb baker. Deborah, I hope to work with you again in the future!

UNBELIEVABLE!My wife and I wanted a Minecraft themed cake for our daughters 11th birthday and we were unable to fit a kit cake from grocery stores in the area. We decided to have it custom made and found Specialty Cakes and Desserts through a google search. Our expectations were completely exceeded. We showed a picture to the wonderful lady and, even though shed not made a Minecraft cake before, we were blown away by the results. The cake matched the photo provided exactly. She really is a cake artist. The attention to detail was outstanding and she was very accommodating to our price range and schedule. Her shop is located in a private residence, but dont let that fool you. This is a professional operation in every sense of the word. I am so happy that we decided to go with Specialty Cakes and Desserts. I have two kids, so shell be seing us twice a year from now on!
