This place was awesome! My glasses broke and I can’t see without them, my regular eye doctor wasn’t any help at all. Luckily Eyeglass World was able to take me in same day and get me nice glasses same day as well along with trial contacts! The Doctor Jonathon was such a wonderful person making the entire experience really fun! The rest of the staff & people up front were super attentive and helpful, I would definitely recommend this location/company to anyone who is looking for glasses and/or contacts!

First, if youre thinking of getting an eye exam here, know this: they dont have doctors on site. Youll be put in a room with a doctor on a screen. They wont tell you this until youre too far into the exam to do much about it.Second, the doctor on the screen misdiagnosed my son. He used the word brain tumor multiple times. After going to Kellogg Eye Institute for another exam, we found out the real problem. Dry eyes. As simple as that. Nothing even close to a tumor.If the doctor had actually been in the room to physically examine my son, theres a good chance I could have saved myself a lot of worry/fear and money.Ill never be back.

Everyone that was there was so helpful!! I couldn’t have asked for better service! I had stopped in last minute in desperate need of some glasses and they were able to squeeze in an eye exam and get me one of my two pair of glasses ready to go before I left! I would highly recommend this place to everyone! They have VERY reasonable prices and many options with amazing customer service!

Went in today for an eye exam and glasses. I was immediately greeted when I walked in the door, and everyone who helped me through the process was extremely friendly. My glasses were ready in 3 hours and they fit great! I would definitely recommend this business for anyone needing an eye exam and glasses.

This might have been the easiest, least stressful experience Ive ever had at a doctors office. I walked in not even knowing the name of my vision insurance provider, let alone how to go about using it. Without me even having to ask, Katie called my medical insurance company, got the name of my provider, and found my plan all before I even finished filling out my forms. While waiting for my exam to begin, another customer arrived for his exam only to learn that he had scheduled the wrong kind of appointment. Long story short, he was crazy rude to Katie who handled the situation like a true pro. Cut to Emily performing my exam (with help from some virtual techs). She was super friendly and professional as well. After the exam, Katie helped me pick out two pairs of glasses and walked me through all of the lens options. I cant stress enough how kind and helpful she was despite having just been disrespected by another customer. I ended up with a way better script and two pairs of glasses, one of which was ready within TWENTY minutes. Never going anywhere else. Thanks again, Katie!

The optometrist Jonathan Elina was awesome and they are all helpful and very friendly. This place is the best weve been to yet.

The staff is very friendly and so was the Dr. However, it took almost 30 minutes to input the prescription in and they had to send out for lenses. So don’t expect it to be as easy to come in get the exam and walk out with glasses. I called back after putting on my trial contacts. Time is tight for me and I’m just not happy about negotiating with them to get a follow up appointment after I was given the wrong contacts lens prescription and now I will have to make another appointment and am sitting here bring inconvenienced just to get another assessment to get the right prescription. As I’m sitting here hearing other customer issues with contacts and glasses pick ups, I’m not happy. I really just want to SEE! So a long story short. They could use training in customer service and customer satisfaction.

My husband is very happy with his new glasses. The previous pair did not fit well and his vision wasnt the best either. He had a new visual test and now has new glasses that stay on his face. He can now read smaller print as well. Staff took great care of him and his requests.

I went to this place ordered glasses. I was told they glasses would be there in two weeks. I was told they would call me. None of this was true. When I drove up from Saginaw all I got was excuses. We were told that I would get a call the next day, when my glasses were ready. That did not happen.When customers drive from a distance they dont want excuses they want the product they paid for. I think the service was extremely poor, and I will not be returning.

Friendly and helpful staff. Most insurances are accepted. Frame price ranges from $78 per pair to hundreds of dollars for designer brands. The $78 price applies for certain frames and only when buying 2 frames--a single frame is also $78. Be aware that each add-on for lenses (tint, multi vision, scratch resistance, plastic lenses) are applied to each pair of glasses so the $78 price can be misleading. Otherwise prices are comparable to doctors offices and stores. Frame selections can be limited at many doctors offices.

Only good words about Eyeglass World. Emily was very pleasant and tremendously fast when helping with my brand new pair of glasses.

The doctor didn’t listen to me and gave me the wrong kind of contacts and now I will have to make another appointment and get another assessment to get the right contacts(which I will not be going back here ever again.) the service was all virtual and seemed like they just wanted to get their job done and didn’t care about the patients. Every experience I’ve had here was terrible. I hate to be a Karen but as a person who’s pretty chill this place got on my nerve. Please go somewhere else if you want proper in person care.

This facility is so well managed and professionally organized. Patient care is primary. You have an appointment at 11am and you’ll be seen at 11am. What a breath of fresh air after dealing with the God Complex eye doctors of Grand Blanc. Great team here, great service and great range of frames.

My appointment to correct the contact lens prescription that was not correct in the first place was at 5:10. I am still waiting to be seen, the time is 5:53. I have been trying to order contacts for a month now and the prescription was wrong all along. A simple adjustment to my prescription had turned into me waiting here in the office for and hour. I will not be returning here ever. I never write reviews but this is crazy.

Horrible customer service.I had appointment at 5:30, I arrived at 5:15 waited 30 min and they did 1st part of exam then waited to see doctor at 6:00, I was told that they are running behind and I have to reschedule appointment.

If I could give them a zero I would. I paid 128 for two pair not 78. Extra for bifocals. Extra for transition. Extra for no line bifocals. My husband paid 450 for two pairs. My husband had to take his back because he saw reflections in his glasses that werent there in his old pair.. I also went back 4 times to try to get my glasses right. They didnt make the lenses right for my astigmatism and the didnt make my computer glasses right. I had michigan eye institute check what they did and it was wrong. They insist it was right. Dont waisted your time

Horrible experience I was turned away for being late due to a train and having to wait to be check in at the door. The receptionist was rude and uncaring to me told me I was too late and there was only a 5 minute grace period which is fine but I left early enough to make it on time if it wasnt for the train that caused me to be late and the check in which is fine I understand but between everything going wrong at one time a break would have been nice just made it a horrible experience then being turned away like that made me feel like Im not wanted there so I wont be coming shame because I heard good stuff about the place.

Went to original appointment for contacts and a follow up appointment for my fitting. Went to order contacts and they said they didnt finalize my prescription. I told them I had two appointments and was fitted with contacts just wanted to order some. She said I needed another appointment. I have never been to an eyeglass store that needed to see you three time to get contact prescription completed. Dont waste your time.

My best friend and I went in to order my new glasses and what a great experience! Louisa helped us pick out several pairs of glasses based on my preferences (like my own personal shopper!) and she nailed it! I have quite a complicated eyeglass prescription and Louisa was very knowledgeable and that was comforting. She took the time to explain every detail until I was satisfied. My friend and I are pretty boisterous and Louisa handled us very nicely. We all had some laughs, shared a quick story or two, and I left there with a smile on my face! Thank you Louisa!

My experience was wonderful. I have been there for myself, my daughter, and my fiance and each time went smoothly and quick. The doctor was attentive and gentle with my 5 year old. The doctor was through with me and the staff worked with me for over an hour while I chose through glasses. My glasses were made same day and I was able to pick them up later that afternoon. My fiance also had a positive and attentive experience with the doctor. The staff is so friendly and always greet you as soon as you walk in the door. Yonnie, Louisa, and the rest of the staff really treat you like family! Great store and service!

I had a great experience there. I believe the guy who helped me out was Kevin, but Im not positive due to my horrible memory. But either way they had my wife and I in and out in under 2.5 hours with exams and my glasses included. I paid for mine and he took my prescription to the lab in back and by the time my wife was done with her paperwork and paying my glasses were done. Awesome service!! And good prices too 👍

For those of you who have jobs and kids and busy lives this would not be the place to go if you want to get an eye exam and get your contacts ordered. Be prepared to have to go in for two separate vision appointments just to order contacts. I called to get my own medical information of the contacts that they provided me while they were there and they would not release my own script to me. First they said they had nothing on file and no record of that script. I replied to the lady on the phone legally you have to have documentation of my script that you gave me, so are you just saying you will not release my own medical information to me? She confirmed that. Go across the street to Pearle vision if you want a simple experience and you value your time.

I absolutely love my Eye Glass World My first experience was with my teenage son who loves his glasses. Then brought my husband. When I felt my eyes becoming so strained I bright myself to my Eye Glass World!!!! I feel I have my people, who happen to be very knowledgeable and professional and take care of my family’s eyes! I have my Miss Louisa and my Yonnie and Dr Yang.

Louisa was a fantastic optometrist! Very knowledgeable. She medically chose my frames. I had at least 20 frames chosen (they have such a great selection) and went through a complete process to pick the perfect frame for my face. I was very impressed with her and Eyeglass World. My glasses were there in a week and were completely perfect! And the price was right!Well another year has gone by, and another visit to eyeglass world on Miller Road, with Louisa, and a couple other young women. I went in to get my new lenses and Louisa more than accommodated me. I had the lenses back within a week, even though it was over Labor Day weekend! Louisa and I thought that it would take much longer, because of the holiday weekend, but it didn’t, because that’s the kind of service you get it Eyeglass World! I went in to get my lenses put in my frames, and at first they said it was going to take 45 minutes! I’m disabled and it’s hard for me to sit around, so a young lady went back and talked to the people in the lab and told me it would be 15 minutes no more than 20, because that’s the kind of service you get an Eyeglass World on Miller Road! I will continue to go back there every year from this point on! Thank you to all of those nice women, at Eyeglass World!!!

What an amazing experience! I would recommend eyeglass world in flint to anyone and everyone! I had fallen in love with a discontinued frame and when I came back to purchase it it was out of stock. Tiffany went above and beyond and after making multiple calls to what seemed like 25 stores she was able to get me the frames I had loved. I was starting to become discouraged but she told me she wasn’t giving up until I was over the moon about my glasses. Her exceptional customer service has myself and the rest of my family hooked to getting glasses strictly from them! The environment of the store is absolutely warm and welcoming! Everyone on the floor was so helpful and patient the entire 2 and a half hours I was here being indecisive about the frames I wanted! Dr Knight was great as well. My son broke his glasses just a few days before summer diabetes camp. Eyeglass World allowed my son to be able to see and fully enjoy his camp experience and allowed us breath a little easier. We were in and out the same day with his new pair of glasses. Doctor and staff were amazing and took the time and attention to check out my sons eyes for any complications that type 1 diabetes can cause. We will be back soon.

I had a high review in mind but when I came back to buy my glasses that completely changed. Signs out front says 2 pairs of glasses for 78 dollars. Once he sat me down and tried to sell me all the options under the sun I did pick a couple but not all that they were recommending.So what started at 78 dollars the final price he tried to give me was 505. So 400 dollars more than the signs that get you in the door. I will be looking to Warby Parker or other online options. I already looked online for prescription safety glasses and the cost was half of what they try and sell them here for.

Awesome service! I finally have a correct contact prescription after many years of not seeing properly. The doctor was phenomenal. I can not be more impressed with the staff that helped me. Taylour, Kevin and Louisa are by far top notch in their field of work.

I actually arrived here coincidentally because theyre open later than Sears Eye Department. Best coincidence ever because not only did everyone on the floor treat me a thousand times better than at Sears; Dr Knight was great too.I would *highly* recommend this store if you have need for anything vision related. They have a nice frame selection and they take as much time as you need to make sure youre satisfied with your purchase. They treat you like your time and money is important to them too.I even had my mom make the switch to Eye Glass World and she agreed with all my sentiments.

My daughter and I had a great experience here. She is 6 and had to get her first pair of glasses. Louisa and Yonnie were so great with her while she was making her choices. My daughter was very excited about the entire experience, which I was worried that she would be a little sassy. They enjoyed her spunk and helped her find the perfect pair of glasses for her tiny little face (two pairs actually).They also have great prices that allowed me to get my daughter two pair (she is 6. They Canceled day before my appointment with a 2 week reschedule option. Only really had that day to come in. Luckily another place was able to take me... Not cool! Wont be back.

Went in for an exam today, the doctor was awesome but the room was so hot I wanted to leave, but when I was done with the the exam I had help from the manager yonnie and she was amazing she helped me pick out the right pair of glasses and was honestly so helpful to someone as indecisive as I am! I would recommend yonnie and all the staff here and will definitely be back.

I purchased two pairs of glasses for my daughter at the cost of nearly $300. As soon as she put on the glasses, she felt the prescription was wrong. The optician told her to try the glasses first thing in the morning so her eyes could adjust. She kept the glasses for a week, and was unable to wear either pair as they were causing her to go cross eyed and have headaches. We took the glasses back to check the prescription and make sure they were aligned properly. The optician said yep, everything is good. I would recommend adding non glare to the lenses. Really??? I spent $300 on these glasses and she cant wear either pair. I returned both pair and will not be going back to Eyeglass World.

I have waited a few days to post this thinking maybe I would think differently but I still feel the same......staff is wonderful.....Dr is not. I stopped in early one afternoon for a prescription for allergy eye drops. After listening to me speak to the staff he came from around the corner, ignored me, and proceeded to scowl at his staff member and rudely tell her he was at lunch and then hurriedly walked away irritated. I followed him out the door just to get him to recognize that I am a paying customer and he just lost a family of 4. I didnt care for the way he treated his staff, nor the commitment he has for his patients care. He may not know that I have worked in an office and know how quickly a script can be written. It isnt so much about interrupting his lunch but more of his personality flaw. He could have acknowledged me. He chose not to. FYI I work 24 hours a day, through lunch and through evenings so I guess I dont have sympathy of dont interrupt my lunch again.

Was very disappointed. Very unprofessional. When made the appointment made sure about the insurance but when we got there the lady said they dont take the insurance. Had to wait for her to ask and check with someone else, meanwhile they took other people in front of my husband. My husbands appt was at 9:15am but had to be there at 9 and didnt get out til after 11am. Never had an eye appt that ever took over 2 hours. Would never recommend this place to anyone. And if anyone does go to this place, dont say you are in a hurry because they will make you wait even longer.

My family and I went to Eyeglass World at the 4487 Miller Rd, Flint MI,We went there to get the a eye exam and our prescriptions and whenwe ask for our PD (pupillary distance) they told us that they are notallowed to give them out, because they have very strict policy. Theyneed to update their policy or put it somewhere that your customer can see it. I think that if youre not buying from them, they don’t want to giveyour information to you. My family and I wont be returning back. Wouldnt recommend Eyeglass World.

We thought this place was awesome. ......until my husband had set up his appt. 3 weeks ahead of time, then they call 2 days before his appt. to tell him the Dr. Wont be in that day so he will have to reschedule. Ok fine, but not for almost a month for another appt.!!!!! BS. Mind you weve already bought 3 pairs of glasses.😡
