My son and I hanging out and I will say I love the decor and openness as well as the spacing especially during this pandemic that we are living in. The menu options are creative and diverse. Mark the waiter is attentive, intuitive and pleasant. Generous portion size. I season my eggs so the blandness of the eggs is not because they weren’t cooked well. The touch of spring mix is what my body needed. The smell of the pumpkin and cinnamon wafted my senses first. The texture of the pancakes are moist and cooked to perfection. The owner is personable and unassuming. We will be back and highly recommend this place!

This place is AMAZING!!! My wife and I went for the savory/sweet combo splitting the Apple Pie French Toast and the Breakfast Tacos and let me just say WOW!!!! Everything tasted perfect. Probably one of the best breakfast meals Ive ever had. And the service was equally awesome. Highly, highly recommend!

First time here. Service was amazing. Food was awful. Had the Twisted Huevos Rancheros. They need to come off the menu. Chorizo was raw and rubbery. Beans were dry and flavorless probably canned. They should have use to fresh fried tortillas and instead they used old.tostadas. I will try something different on the menu next time and change my review cause I really like the smiles and the people.

Our booth was a bit of a tight squeeze, but, we are many. The staff were all friendly, attentive, kind and helpful. Literally, ALL of the food was delectably presented and tastes just as good as it looks! There was a short wait, it was worth it, we will go again.

Had brunch here recently - everything was good. We had a sandwich with ham and cheese and raspberry jam as well as chicken and waffles. Chicken and waffles was really juicy and fresh - 10/10 for sure!I would’ve given 5 starts but the place just didn’t feel like a solid 5 - it wasn’t cozy (with the concrete floors and grey walls if felt like they just mowed in and didn’t want to spend any money on design and decor), service was okay, coffee was okay. There is nothing to complain about, but also nothing to make this place my favorite. It’s not a diner but doesn’t feel like a restaurant either.

Absolutely excellent service from Annie! She was so sweet and attentive. Multiple times people came by to check on me. Had coffee and avocado toast which was SUPER good. Its hard to come across a well poached egg at a restaurant, but these were perfect.Ive been going through a very hard time personally and it helped me a lot to have a calm, pleasant dining experience. You never know what people are going through and I really appreciate your kind and attentive service!

Staff is kind and helpful however; my most recent experience with what occurred and how the management handled the situation was disappointing..... Ordered breakfast and while cutting into the pancakes, a black hair was deep into the pancakes and I showed the waiter. He apologized and offered more pancakes. I said no as I lost my appetite after discovering the black hair. The manager came over and offered pancakes again and I said no thank you. When we received the ticket, it really surprised me that not even a % of the ticket was adjusted for what happened. Yes, we paid full price for what was ordered and for the extra black hair! I know I won’t be missed but sadly, I will not be back. IMO, this was not handled appropriately. I know mishaps can happen like this but this was not handled in such a way for anyone to want to come back.

Am happy i drove all the way from el paso just to have the best breakfast and a great service from the waitress. Rylee did have a good service that i enjoyed so much.

Food was okay, Server was very attentive to other customers. Went next door to get coffee at edison and the service and coffee was on phenomenal made it all better!

Oh my!! Been to Morning Edition twice now. The eggs are the BEST!! Fluffy whites on over medium. Nothing in the best I’ve had!! Bacon crispy is that, crispy but not brittle!! Very nice decor. Owner and staff are great. Friendly and service oriented. My wife and I eat breakfast out A LOT. Highly recommend Morning Edition!!

First time visit today was marvelous.We heard their food is great and it was very tasty, and had many original egg breakfast items. Prices are very reasonable and service was outstanding. Since it was for a birthday brunch, we spent 1.5 hours there and never felt hurried by the waitstaff.Highly recommended.Well be back.Phil

The food and service was excellent. Plus its family friendly. I appreciated the small things like bendy straws for the childrens drinks and childrens books (located on one of the walls). The cowboy hamburger was excellent and something I will crave again in the future. The Ruben sandwich was tender and tasty. the biscuits and gravy was also good but the gravy had more seasoning than I personally prefer (not sure what season, but it was definitely something green). The chips were unique and also very crispy and good. The big surprise was the pickles. Neither my wife not I are big fans of pickles, but these were so good!In short, the great service and delicious food will definitely have is coming back for more

So so good! Had the salmon and egg white omelet. Came with fruit and 2 huge, deliciously fluffy pancakes. Think I may want to come here once a week to order it. Quiet atmosphere and pleasant staff. They were attentive but not overbearing. Food was prepared quickly and everything was so clean. They asked if I wanted a fresh coffee to go!

So excited about this new breakfast spot. Food was delicious. Our table tried several different menu items like omelettes, two eggs, and the buffalo chicken sandwich. Winners of the day were the sides of pancakes and tater tots. They also have some fun options like duck bacon and fresh oj. Service was great as well. Our waiter was so kind and helpful with navigating the menu. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast or brunch. Can’t wait to come back!

This is by far one of the best restaurants for breakfast, brunch and lunch. Jena and her staff are outstanding and very friendly. The food is scrumptious and service is great. I started coming here shortly after it opened and have become one of the many regulars that shows up daily. I whole heartedly and highly recommend Morning Edition to everyone.

Open, bright & airy are the first impressions that you get when ya walk in. The menu options are varied & satisfying. Staff are helpful and attentive to your needs. It has become the new Go To destination on a weekend. The crowds develop, requiring wait times, by 10 AM, on the weekends. Im sure theyll know me, by sight, as time continues.

They have great gluten free options and everybody is so friendly there!

Found M.E. few months ago and hands down its the BEST PLACE to enjoy the BEST BREAKFAST EVER!!!! Anything you order, you will NOT be Disappointed, besides the delicious food, they have the BEST STAFF, from hostess to all their servers. The best Denver Omelet I have ever had. I love this place.

We recently dined at Morning Edition and loved it! I ordered the Bacon and Avocado Eggs Benedict and my husband got the Nutty Pig Waffle. They were both delicious and the coffee was delicious too. (See pictures) We also tried the cheese grits - they were just meh. The only thing that could have improved our experience was having a choice of regular hash browns instead of tater tots. (tater tots seemed like serving french fries with chateaubriand!)Also, the service here is impeccable. So friendly and helpful. They happily gave us to go cups of coffee to take with us.We will definitely be back! This is a great addition to breakfast/brunch restaurants in Flower Mound.UPDATE:Weve eaten here many more times since the first time (mentioned above). I added more photos so you can see some more dishes we tried - all pretty good. You always get a LOT of food, too.Oh, and they started serving hash browns now! YAY!

Great service right here in Flower Mound Parker Square. They even gave me a coffee to go with the end of my meal. We have a group that meets here every Thursday morning and we always have a great time and good food. I would suggest an omelette they are good.

My husband and I had breakfast here at the conclusion of our anniversary weekend stay-cation. My sister and brother-in-law recommended it. The service was friendly and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was nice and its in a really cute location! If we find ourselves in the area again we will definitely stop by for a meal!

Family owned business. Delicious breakfast and lunch options. I had the M. E. Platter--belgian waffle, over medium eggs, and crispy bacon. Everything was perfectly cooked and the waffle had a great taste. One of a kind. Yum. An added bonus was the patio area that my dog and I had the pleasure of using and being the first patio customers.

Really really nice staff and pretty restaurant. The food wasnt bad, but it just wasnt great. I was really craving pancakes and they looked beautiful, but had no flavor. The price point was very good for the amount of food, but it wasnt unique. It was like something I would buy at the store.

This place was better than expected. I really enjoyed my apple pecan French toast. The burgers are really really good as well. Also the kids menu has a good selection.

The food is always so good at ME. Today we had bacon, avocado eggs Benedict, a berry waffle, and berry butter oatmeal. They are always generous with the fresh berries, and the side of tater tots was huge. The service was attentive and friendly, as always.

Very busy for Sunday breakfast. Approx 30 minute wait @ 9:30ish Pancakes are huge! Corn beef hash is homemade. Hash browns were a little under cooked. Meal was ok.

Newish, local breakfast and lunch spot in the heart of Parker Square in Flower Mound ; it was quite busy when we arrived, but were seated fast, and current safety protocols were evident. They have a diverse menu of breakfast favorites, the expected eggs, omelets, cakes, biscuits. Service was polite, but somewhat lagged with delayed drink refills and requests for extra condiments. Food was tasty enough, but prices ran on the higher side for similar dishes - I had the Monte Cristo, and was given hardly any raspberry jam, it was simply an artistic afterthought on my plate ; also was surprised that this sandwich, which is most often deep fried, was anything but - simply, lightly grilled sourdough with the meat and cheese components. The food is good, to be sure, but not sure I was impressed enough to return soon.

Excellent omlette. In fact everything was delicious. The staff was great. The only criticism I can make is that there was so much excellent food that I didnt want to leave any behind and I wound up stuffed and unable to eat for the rest of the day.

My husband and I decided to give Morning Edition a try for breakfast. The restaurant itself is very roomy, clean, and the decor is lovely. The staff was friendly.The food unfortunately, even though it was served very promptly after we placed the order, was cold! Juevos Rancheros on top of a handful of shredded cheese that wasnt even close to being melted. The salsa was more like Italian dressing which was very off-putting. My eggs over medium and bacon were barely lukewarm. Was everything pre-made and waiting under a heat lamp? A very poorly working heat lamp? I was surprised to find that the plates had not even been warmed - a typical practice when serving hot foods. I let our server know about our cold food...She apologized. I was expecting maybe a little bit to be knocked off of our bill, but it was not and our 2 meals and a coffee cost over $30. Thats a little pricey for food thats not that great.On a pleasant note, the pancakes were warmer, and had a decent flavor (tasted like a box mix though). The coffee was good, and I was even offered a cup of it to go, which I appreciated. This place has potential, but Im not sure we will be going back any time soon.

My advice is to stop reading this review and drive over to morning edition. Service was excellent social distancing was great and the food was omg good. They might have the best biscuits Ive ever eaten (sorry mom). It was a great way to start my day with some good food for me and the kids. My wife got something healthy so I cant comment on that because breakfast is not made to be healthy.

Morning Edition is a great place! Eric is the best server I have come across in a very long time! PLEASE bring back the school yard toys!!! The manager is awesome. I was upset about them not having tots and she came by and made sure I had what I needed even though they were not the school yard torts! Go here and you will not be disappointed!

Excellent food and amazingly staff! The corned beef hash is 1/4 chucks of meat, potatoes and bell peppers - not from a can. This is a treasure in Flower Mound and I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Tons of hype and thats what most of it is with this place its an average place with an average review.Monti Cristo was good not great. French toast is thick but then lacks batter ... Tastes more like youre eating bread with a ton of toppings versus French toast. Same with the kids French toast (my guess is this is just how they make it). The best part of the meal was my kids breakfast tacos which looked great.Its not a bad place at all I love the variety for French toast but the execution isnt there and at the price its just not hitting home would rather hit up 7 mile cafe down the road.

Morning Report: I visited M/E for the first time today. I was excited to try your new place; because I had met one of the managers/owners personally several weeks prior to opening. I am always afraid to give feedback due to the fact I know how hard it is to own your own business. I was greeted as I entered (thank you), and had coffee service quickly. I did see most servers working in pairs, so I assume there is training in progress. Service was moderately good, but had to ask for coffee refill and ice for my clients Ice tea glass. We saw many empty hands entering the kitchen while dishes occupied our table. *Servers, please do your managers proud and dont go in the kitchen with empty hands, especially when there are two of you. I must say the plate presentation was good, temperature of food was A+. We did have two eye-opening moments. First was the breakfast plate with tator-tots. This did not seem to match the quality of this venue. The Second surprise came at check-out. $36 dollars for two common breakfast plates with coffee/Tea. OUCH! I hope to try you again after the next menu PRICE re-print. Your restaurant is very comfortable, i hope your able to respond to feedback quickly so I can become a regular. Great spot to meet clients. Our waiter Eric was awesome! Food was great - lovely presentation and the whole place was very family friendly. Could’ve got a 5 star if they had a better selection for side items and their liquor license because I love my mimosas during brunch. But according to our waiter, it’s on its way!
