Asian lady took time out to help me. Recommended headband wig. Also cashier didnt have an attitude. Pleasant shopping. I will return just because of the service.

A RUDE WOMAN RUNS THIS BUSINESS. 👎🏾

There is an Asian lady that works in this store that is racist as hell. I shop at this store all the time for my beauty needs for me and my children but when she is there the atmosphere is so different because she walks behind all the black guest that walk in the store even if they say they need no help. Today I went in the store to possibly exchange some packs of braiding hair that I purchased yesterday for another color, nobody spoke when I walked in the store with my bag in my hand. As I finally came back to the front after deciding to keep the hair that I already purchased with the receipt in the bag and just decided to purchase an additional color to go along with it I stood in line. I get to the register and hand the Asian lady the stuff I wanted to purchase she then questions me about my bag in my hand. I explain to her and the black lady that works there also and is now standing there too that I had made that purchase yesterday and had the receipt if she would like to see it. The Asian lady starts going off on me saying when did you buy it in a tone as to say I’m lying so I pulled out me receipt. She then continues to go off and say you have to stop past here if you when you wanna do an exchange, I tell her I didn’t know that and had someone acknowledged me when I first walked in the store then they would of known I had a bad and needed to possibly exchange. She then tells me that I should of greeted her and told them that that was what I wanted to do. I told her it didn’t matter cuz I was keeping the hair I brought yesterday and purchasing the products I just handed her. Even after me explaining what I was doing and showing proof of my receipt and emptying my one bag that I was carrying she was still being disrespectful to me making comments implying that I didn’t pay the hair I brought yesterday and then turns to the black girl and says do you wanna call the manager?? I’m like call the manager for what I just want my damn stuff, she tells me to watch my mouth and that she ain’t ringing me up even tho the black lady told her to go ahead, she then told the lady that she had to ring me up. I have never felt so disrespected in an establishment that I frequent before as I have today with this lady. I will make it my business to make sure racism is made aware of because it definitely doesn’t need to be going on in this shopping center/establishment!

Not very helpful, the older lady is always rolling her eyes and gritting on people. She never smiles or great anyone

Please DO NOT GO HERE!!! The lady who worked here did not HAVE GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! For Starters: There was a sign that read “No Strollers” so does that mean A woman who has a little child can’t bring a stroller into a BEAUTY SUPPLY STORE?? also there was another sign that read “No More than 3 people in a group”? REALLY? so there were 4 of us today so does that mean I can’t shop here with more than 3 people even though the purchase had already been made? Also there was a young worker who was assisting my grandmother with wigs that were a “4 wig try on per visit” so if I wanted to buy every wig in the store I couldn’t see if they my grandmother before I buy them?? REALLY! Also the lady who was working there YELLED for her through the store while she was with a customer?!?!?! Also there is another BEAUTY STORE by PENNEYS with the SAME RULES AND REGULATIONS!!! Also when they explained the 3 person per group policy they said for kids that come in there ?!?!? Ummm... so then why is it applied to all of the customers then?? Also the lady at Beauty Island was rude to one of the people in my group while trying to get an explanation she was on her cell phone! And then she mentioned that the 4 try on wig per policy was when they were “busy” nobody was in the store expect my group of 4?!?!? Really ?? Also there was a man at I believe the place is called “Wig Island” located in the mall by JC PENNEYS AND TECH N’ CALL who was behind the counter and then when asked if he worked there he said “NO I ALREADY TOLD YOU” In a Rude tone so why are you behind the counter if you don’t work there ??? I’m just a little confused?? And they had the same no more the 3 people in a group and the no STROLLER POLICY which is so disrespectful to people who have little children that need a STROLLER
