I would not recommend using this company. From the first email communication through the final ordering process, I made it very clear I was ordering doors to close off our office so that we could have a quiet office and control noise. I was never once told their doors should be thought of as more of a divider and not a true door, in that it will not block sound. Before the final order was placed, I also asked for the doors to be sealed to the wall and also have a lock placed so that more sound would be blocked. I was assured both would be done (in writing).Fast forward 3 months, before we even had a date for installation, we had to pay in full for the doors. Once installed, the doors were not sealed to the wall and they do nothing to block sound. The lock I ordered was also not present. I contacted the company, who said I would have to pay extra for the lock, there was nothing they could do for the sound, and the doors couldnt be sealed to the wall. The customer service is apathetic at best.These doors are a $6000 glorified clear room divider that is about as effective as a curtain when trying to block sound. Go elsewhere.**Edit**I am not naïve enough to think glass is soundproof. But I was naïve to think the doors would behave like true doors instead of an extremely overpriced room divider. The center doesnt fully close, and there are large gaps between each door, the door and the floor and the door and the side wall. When asking customer service what can be done (adding felt, rubber...) they said nothing could be done.

We shopped around for custom sliding doors to close off our den. The only ones we could find were a small fortune. When we were introduced to Lauren at the Sliding Door Company, we knew we were in good hands. They have a ton of options, all which can be customized with the color and the glass. The final cost of the doors installed was about half of the other bids, and the quality is MUCH better! The installers were very professional and did an excellent job. We highly recommend the Sliding Door Company!

The sliding door company exceeded my expectations. The doors are absolutely beautiful and well made. The installers were neat and professional. I’m so glad I found them. From the design to finishes they (specifically Lauren) provided excellent feedback. These doors are the most beautiful thing in my condo!

Lauren in the Ft. Lauderdale sales center was fantastic to deal with. She helped me pick the right design and provided all of the information necessary for a correct order. Upon delivery, the finished doors were nothing short of amazing. They are very high quality and look beautiful in our home where we were defining a home office space with glass doors and walls.Eric in the customer care center provided some expert assistance with a couple of questions on installation and he certainly made the whole experience a pleasure.If you are looking for a quality product and superior customer service from sale to installation, the sliding door company is the place to go.
