We stopped by here to get my 15-year-old son an amp for his guitar, and were beyond impressed. Impeccable customer service and the kind of professionalism that has became rare. Both the man & woman at the counter when we paid and the man out on the floor (who tried out a few amps for us)- were equally awesome. We will definitely be giving Garrison Music Company 100% of our business in the future when needing anything guitar related. 100% recommend👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼!

Since they changed names they went down hill. The young generation behind the counter have no idea how a music store operates. Actually have no interest in the customer needs or knowledge. Went in the store 3 different times for strings. Each time they didnt order any. Wall practically bare. They sit right in front of the wall that holds the strings! How could they not tell, they need to stock strings? Play on their phones too much,instead of stocking store. Started shopping at Saied music. They have all accessories for guitar players. Except a good stock on guitars.

Great guys to work with. Very knowledgeable. Took me a few weeks to make up my mind on a new guitar and they were very patient and helpful. I now have a wonderful new Martin OM28 in the family. Thanks guys.

I bought my daughter a very nice high end Martin guitar from here . Very nice people and great service. I’ve also bought a couple amps and I will be buying my other daughter a guitar here. They seem like good people and the prices are decent for the quality of instruments that they carry . Also they have some high end older guitars upstairs upon request if you are in the market for older nice martins, etc .

Parking in front of the strip is paid meters, well lit. Staff werent overly helpful which is exactly what my son wanted, knowledgeable friendly and helpful, but didnt hang out with us. Organization was a miss for what looked to be a smallish store. It seemed like very little order and placement of items. Took a minute to find drumsticks but the price was much better than we expected, even better than online. We imagined it was because they are a general, not specialty, music store. We got in and out and great deal on the drumsticks! We will be going back for any needs we can there.

Technician was great over the phone. Explained everything done on my Yamaha APX500II and the price was very reasonable. Appreciate the work they did and would recommend them to anyone with instrument inquiries. Action on the guitar is so smooth now. Thanks again!

Nice store, employees shocked me with how much they know about their work. Just one thing, whomever is that guy that I ask to try out a guitar and you play it for two or so minutes to warm up the amp, dont do that. Im here to buy a product from you, not watch you play a gig. Every store seems to have that one employee that tries out the guitar the customer wants to play and it annoys customers. Dont do that. It comes across as very cocky.

My 8year old started drum lessons there today. The instructor was polite and did great working with her. We visited the store after to pick up a few things and the employees there seemed disinterested in helping us. We had to seek them out for help and overall the experience was less than satisfying.

Had a friend take a guitar here; I was going to bring mine in for work as well. They ended up causing $200 worth of damage to the guitar (pickup is shorting out) when they tried to re-gauge the strings. When we called about it, he said it would cost us parts + labor for an issue they caused. I will never be taking anything here.P.S. Parts and labor to fix his issue would cost almost as much as the guitar

Very courteous and price-conscious also. They usually have what Im looking for. The people who work there are very knowledgable. And they are eager to share that knowledge.

I really like that we have a locally owned a music store in Fort Smith. The store as a great selection of guitars from many different brands, And it also has many other instruments as well. They also offer music lessons upstairs.

Idk much about guitars but they really helped me out with what I should do, they offered me help while playing guitars but weren’t aggressive about it. It was a very laid back and relaxed (in a good way) they seemed more interested in helping me than just trying to make money. The rumors about bad employees is false😁 I will go there in the future

Bought a new Taylor 214ce. Got lucky and played a couple of open mic nights in Nashville. The electronics didn’t work. A switch on the preamp was stuck. I was very upset that I brought a new guitar and didn’t get to use it.Went online and found the problem. At first I didn’t feel as though I was getting any support from the store. It took three days but Jordan called me and explained he had been out and wasn’t able to dear directly with me. He was more than willing to do what ever it takes to make me happy. Even offered to have the guitar set up if I wanted. Had a little problem and I over-reacted but when all the information got to the right people everything was handled not only professionally but friendly as well. By the way I bought my first Taylor from Jimmy and he was great also. If I need anything else I will go back. Thanks Jordan

It seemed like a pretty nice little store, over all it had a nice artistic vibe and a good setting with a wide selection of strings for guitars.I do think they could work on their customer service skills,I am not very knowledgeable with musical equipment and I didnt leave the store with any more information than I went in with, I would say unless you are already familiar with guitars, I would save my questions for Google because it is more helpful than the guys that are working at this store, they had maybe 2 other customers in there, the attitude from one particular guy that was wearing glasses was rather sarcastic after I stood there for about 10 mins trying to figure out which guitar string to get for the guitar that my boyfriend was gifted after not seeing his father for 15 years, I guess I interrupted him when he was asking other people that just walked in if they needed help after I stood there a good 10 minutes confused on what to get, I probably would have browsed more and bought some other things but I just got the string after he gave me a quick response of what works and then I went to the register and checked out. I will just stick with online sales for guitar equipmemt and such, I definitely will not be going back into this place, I wouldnt want to make anybodies job any more difficult or over complicated than they already make it.

Jimmy will definitely try to screw you on a trade in if he thinks he can. I got offered $150 in trade value on a guitar that new has price tag of $600. I know they have to profit and I expected to take a loss but that was just insulting.

I like this store. I would give it 5 stars but theyre very slow on their customer service. They do however give good prices on items your selling or trade in items for new musicals things.

I liked lititle about half of it. The old poonhound, Jimmy, is a HORRIBLE person when it comes to working there. All he does is complain about how I dont buy squat. As if I, 13 year old from a lower class family whos as poor as California soil, would be able to afford to buy their overpriced equipment. Fire that bastard. He turned me down for an exchange or repair on my Squire because the neck plate was missing and there were a few stickers on it.As for the equipment: the amps are great. That shop is where I found my weapon of choice. The Line 6 Spider IX. They have great B.C. Richs and Ibanez. Not my standard for Gibson guitars. The Mesa Boogie amp with the metallic plate was really nice, too.

Everytime we go in there is less and less. When asked of they were closing we got told no just waiting on orders to come in! How in the world do you left your store get that bare? Seems really fishy to me.

If you are not one of the local alter boys whose church has an account there he wants nothing to do with you. Unless, of course you make it clear you are ready to make a big ticket purchase of one of their crappy amps or guitars immediately. He has made me feel like I am only annoying him for the last several years. I bought my first decent guitar there in 1974 and have spent thousands there the past 41 years but no more as of today. About a week ago I asked Jimmy for some 250k pots for my Strat. I didnt notice he gave me 500ks until I already had them installed. He did that intentionally because three weeks ago I bought 250k pots from him for another Strat. I told him what he had done three times and he never gave me any indication he even heard me. He got me two 250k pots and I also bought some tuning keys($55) for my Takemine. At the checkout I asked him if he could cut me some slack on the pots since I shouldnt even be buying them again and he said well see. He charged me $1 more for each pot than he did when I bought the same thing three weeks ago. I think he wished to end my 41 years of being a customer of Sigler music and he did a damn good job. From now on Ill order my parts or go to Tulsa if I cant get it from musicians exchange in Van Buren. The Rockabilly guy in VB is as transparent as Mr Jimmy when it comes to making a sale or else running you out of the store. I dont have to take their crap and Im not going to in the future. Ever. Go to Sigler If you dont know any better but you will get dissed, ignored, screwed or all of the above at some point.11 MONTHS LATER I NOTICE SOMEHOW THEY HAVE TRIED TO MITIGATE THEIR 100% NEGATIVE REVIEWS BY PICKING AND CHOOSING CERTAIN LINES DISPLAYED TO THE PUBLIC. NOW THE OWNER WANTS TO MAKE IT RIGHT WITH SOME DISGRUNTLED CUSTOMERS BUT NOT ME. I WONDER WHY?
