We recently purchased a refrigerator and dishwasher from Stucky Bros. and it was, as usual, a great experience. A special shout out to Marty Zimmerman, who helped us navigate our options. He was knowledgeable, easy-going, and a pleasure to work with. Our experience from sales to installation was stellar. I cannot recommend Stucky Brothers more highly. It is an added bonus that they are a locally owned and operated business. Love this store!

Needed to purchase water and air filters for refrigerators-two different brands. The lovely lady behind the counter was so helpful in finding the correct filters for each brand. She also showed us how to save time in future by calling to check if filters in stock using part number on sales slip. Very pleasant.

Super helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly salespeople and reasonable price. Much better experience than I’ve ever gotten at a big box store. Had them do some service on a fridge recently and that went really well too. Don’t think I’ll be going anywhere else for appliances anymore.

Customer Service EXTREMELY Poor!!My mother has been having issues with her ice maker, she called Stucky on a neighbors recommendation. The lady was rude and classless. My mother was merely asking for help. She has purchased several appliances from them in past, never again. What is wrong with people? Where is the customer service or compassion? How hard is it to be kind when informing someone, you cant help them, maybe offer up an alternative instead of just being lazy and rude!

Stucky Brothers has amazing employees!! Just wanted to send a shout out to John (repairman). He was in Churubusco today on a freezer repair and my grandfather fell. I will never go to a big box stores again to buy any appliance! Bought a Frigidaire range from Tim, and he knew exactly what we were looking for and provided an amazing range at an even more amazing price. He was so professional compared to what we have had at Home Depot or Lowes. They do all of their own installation, so no dealing with a installation call center in North Carolina just to get a hold of an installation subcontractor in Fort Wayne. Stuckys is excellent excellent excellent!

Wow! I have been buying my appliances from Stuckys for over a decade. I just left there after coming in to replace one of my appliances. The salesman seemed obviously bothered by my presence. Our interaction lasted no more than a few minutes and as soon as I said I need to think about it he was done with me. I am sad to say I wont be back.

We had a great experience from sales to delivery! Our fridge went out and they were super understanding and scheduled delivery for next day!We had some problems at delivery that were not the delivery guys’ fault and they gave us options and suggestions to fix the issues. The customer service was great. Will definitely recommend.

Wow! We went to Lowes, Menards, Home Depot, and then Stucky Brothers. We had a size restraint for the spot we were filling and had only found one fridge that for but it was out of our price range. Stucky Brothers had about 5 fridges that would fit, 3 from the scratch and dent section which has incredible prices. But the salesmen seemed to know every fridges domination by memory. It was really incredible.We ended up going with a brand new whirlpool, which fit our dimension requirements, as well as our budget, and gave us as much space as possible.Now, when I say it fit, we didnt even have 1/16 inch to spare. We got absolutely all the fridge space we possible could, and we had looked at every (really, every) fridge in Fort Wayne.So glad we tried Stucky Brothers. And we were in and out, with a great price, in less than an hour.Truly great service! (And family owned! Which you notice the difference over the big box stores right away!)

If I could give a negative I would. Installer failed to correctly and safely install a gas appliance for an elderly parent and did not offer to make it right. Shame on all of you 😡

I am sorry but the sales person that pounced on us through the door was rude. People like this is why I shop online. We had been to several stores looking at refrigerators. We just went to see if they had a larger selection and they didnt... They didnt have a lot of options for smaller spaces. The man asked our dementions and they told us what we could not have. We were a little through thrown off... Because what he said we could not have we found at another store. He then showed me one that would work... It was $700 over budget. I said I dont want to spend that much... He said then this wont work and he pointed and said the bargin barn is over there. We found better options at Lowes, best buy, and home Depot. ABC warehouse had nicer sales men and about as many choices. We will never walk in that store again.

We have bought appliances here for years. We bought our last microwave somewhere else that was a mistake. The selection at Stucky Brothers would have pointed to a better choice.

I have always had good luck at Stucky Brothers. Way more knowledgeable than the typical box store. Always had good luck with their service department too (i have only had them service stuff I previously had, nothing I have bought from them). Plus it feels good to support a local company. Pricing is good too!

We have made purchases here twice, a dish washer and then a washer and dryer. The salesman were both helpful, however, both times they had a rebate offer that had expired, but with time to submit the rebate. They gave us a receipt with the wrong date so we could submit the rebate. (Must be standard practice, because we didnt request it.) Both times the rebate was turned down. We questioned it the second time and the salesman assured us it would be fine. Once the rebate offer has ended, they shouldnt continue use it to get sales.

Horrible management here.. They let employees work with high fevers and fire the employee who calls them out for doing it! Stay away from this place!!

We purchased all of our high-end appliances from Stucky Brothers for a large renovation. From the beginning, the wrong dimensions were provided which caused issues when the custom cabinetry was delivered. We had to pay for extra time for the cabinet maker to correct the dimensions for the appliances. The vent hood installation was a disaster. The installation person, which we paid extra, completely screwed up the custom made vent hood. It was so poorly done, that we eventually had the cabinet maker and the general contractor install the vent hood. We had paid extra for the installation person, but never got that money back or an apology. In less than a year we’ve had several trips from the service department to service the appliances we purchased. The worst of the service trips has been for our wall oven. The wall oven glass shattered for no reason, but we are still waiting on the glass and door to be repaired. It’s been a month now, and we still have no oven to use. Again, we have not even had these appliances year. We’ve had issue after issue with Stuckey brothers. With all of the money that we spent, we are so disappointed in how we have been treated.

Staff wasnt very friendly

We spent over 5,000 on appliance here. We pulled 3 months of over time just to be able to afford home installation and were very excited for the delivery today. The delivery men arrived today and informed us that they do not do the install. They told us that we would of had to schedule an install and that it would be an additional $300.00. I then called the store to see what was going on considering we had discussed and install. The guy at the store when we had initially put down a down payment messed up our paperwork several times and had to redo it as we were sitting in the store he corrected it and I’m literally holding the receipt that says “service type: service install” now they are saying that we never asked for it and that it was on our mess up. They said that they not only are charging us again for the install but are unable to come out for another 2 weeks. 5,000 and that’s the type of service you get! Don’t come here! They don’t care about their customers and are very rude when dealing with a problem.

I should have been informed that Stucky’s couldn’t get parts for my dryer before the repairman began taking my dryer apart. Now I have loud irreplaceable bearings, not grinding or seizing, just loudly squeaking. I’ll buy my next dryer elsewhere, otherwise I’d be rewarding shoddy work

Bill was very rude and I wont buy anything here due to the way I was treated! FYI pal women can shop for appliances without a man! If you cant take honesty about appliances find a different job! My repair man told me what to stay away from and when I told Bill Fridigaire is junk per repair guy he tried telling me that they are all made the same...really?! Who would you trust the guy that works on them or the guy selling them? I am now checking the problems with fridges before I buy! To check you type in model # and problems with. Fridigaire is notorious for not lasting and the compressors go out and when that goes youre looking at about $900 to fix your fridge. We have an 8yr old Kenmore fridge with French doors that we paid $1,600 for and its junk. It has a Fridigaire compressor which was very disappointing to hear cuz repair guy said even if he fixed it Id probably have other issues. Do your research before you waste your hard earned $ and stay away from Bill

Went to purchase two parts for my refrigerator at the Sundberg America parts company... had a simple question for the service department at Stuckeys. Salesman showed me to the service Dept. He asked the guy standing there if he had a quick second after I explained my situation to the sales guy... his quick and sharp reply was NOPE.TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO A FRIENDLIER PLACE.

Bought a refrigerator their Bargain Barn. The old refrigerator was in the basement and unplugged for quite some time. During removal, about 3 gallons of water drained all over my floor, which I had to then call in a carpet cleaner! Since the carpet cleaning was about the same price as the delivery fee, I called and inquired about getting a refund for the hassle. I was told very rudely there was nothing they could have done, and it was my fault!. Im not a fridge expert, but I cant be the only case of this happening over the years that Stuckys have been in business. Im not certain, but shouldnt there be a check list of sorts to avoid these situations? I will never buy anything from Stuckys again. I learned my lesson, I hope you dont have to learn yours the hard way.

They tried to sell me a scratch and dent range for $50 bucks more than home depot had it for brand new, and wanted to charge me $100 bucks for delivery when once again home depot delivers for free, so $150 bucks more for a range that someone kicked. No thanks.

I went in to buy a dryer, the salesman was rude and condescending, one of the women for scheduling in the office was very rude, so I left and went to BestBuy and bought my dryer there. Best Buy offered free delivery and was $100 cheaper on the unit that I wanted to purchase.

Ask salesperson a lot of questions he was very helpful gave me tips on best washers and dryers as far as top of the line

Bought a fridgidaire refrigerator, energy efficient but not eco-friendly (replacing 2 water filters each year which are not recyclable and they dont tell you that when purchasing), so they go to the landfill (thousands), so shame on Stuckeys. Wont purchase anything from them again.

After having a terrible experience at ABC Warehouse, we went to Stuckeys to shop for a fridge. The salesman was professional and knowledgable. Their warehouse is located in Fort Wayne so there isnt any of this waiting for a week or more to get the appliance. Thankfully they even delivered it a day early! We shouldve went their first.

Took advantage of my 72 year old mother with cancer. We had gone to Stuckeys because it is a locally owned business and we like to keep our money in the community. Bad decision this time! We went armed with measurements and the old model number of the broken microwave. Salesman came up with a few choices we picked one in confidence. After the new microwave was installed I came to visit and it didnt fit! It completely blocks access to one of her cabinets and unable to get the items out. One, they recommended this one and two, why didnt the installer tell her it didnt fit??? They are unwilling to remedy the situation or offer an alternate solution. Old ladies and infirmed BEWARE they just dont care!!!

We purchased an Electrolux range with the help of Zac Mathis. There were a couple of hiccups, including an incorrect plug on the range, which was quickly remedied; a broken oven glass door when the box was opened. Zac immediately ordered a new range and it was delivered and installed 6 days later. I love my new dual fuel range and without Zacs help and attention to detail, Im certain I would have had to wait longer. This is our third purchase of an appliance from Stuckys and our service has been excellent. We will continue to shop there with Zac when we are in need of appliances.

This is a honest and reliable place to buy appliances. We purchased an appliance here years ago and felt like it was a great value.

Dryer purchased was making grinding noises right after installation. Decided to return it. Less than a week after purchase Stuckys wont accept return without charging a hefty restocking fee. Went elsewhere for the replacement dryer and paid less with the extra fees included for a model with more features.

I purchased brand new Frigidaire appliances for my entire house in March 2013. I have two instances from my purchase that convince me never to go back.#1I placed a $1000 dollar deposit the day before delivery. I was at work the day they delivered my appliances, so my fiance was there to let them in. They installed all appliances without any issues, and proceeded to ask her for a check for the remaining balance including delivery charges I was not told about. So I get a phone call in the middle of work telling me that they need the check asap or they will be removing the appliances and i will have to pay twice for delivery. I made a quick phone call to the manager to ask if I could get the check after work. She told me that they didnt have time to wait around on me (the customer) and that i had to be at my house (30 minutes away) in 20 minutes with a cashiers check or she would have them pack up and leave.... Zero understanding for a customer that just spent over $10,000 at your store is unbelieveable.#2Today (7/5/2013)So here we are 4 months after purchase of all my new appliances. I just got home from the grocery store to stock my fridge and freezer back up after a 4th of july party. I come home to a warm freezer. The temperature is set by the digital display on the outside. I have it set for 0 degrees, but instead it reads 35 (the actual temperature inside the freezer) I first double checked to make sure the door was closed (it was) and then made a quick call to Stuckeys Service Dept. to ask them to come take a look at it since everything is covered under warranty still. The service manager took my information and told me that they had nobody available to help me because they were working on freezers in the store. The soonest they would be able to bring somebody out was a few days later. I asked what I was supposed to do about all of my food that i just purchased. and that Id rather not have everything frozen melt. His reply was thats not my problem, youll have to call Frigidaire...ARE YOU KIDDING ME! So now I have to ask around for freezer space for the next few days just so my food doesnt go bad untill they can free up a service man in the backThank you stuckeys for your amazing customer service. I wont be shopping there ever again.
