Came in for AC diagnosis, they located the source of failure and were quick to fix it. I needed a new AC compressor. Upon diagnosis they gave me a quote. Came in the next day and completed the job in a timely manner, in the same day. Very happy how quick they completed the work. Brought the car in to diagnose a vibration. The process was extremely professional with an online portal including photos and videos of the diagnostic. Communication was better than any other shop I have been to, both over text and over the phone. My only complaint is as follows.When I called Friday to discuss the diagnostic and recommended repairs including parts, labor, and cost, I said oh wow that is an expensive part, I am going to see if I can find it online on my own and get back to you guys. The service technician said ok and we hung up.Fast forward to Monday and I called back to explain that I ordered the parts and they would be showing up within a week, I was informed that the shop does not install customer supplied parts. I was caught off guard because I clearly stated my intentions the week before but was not given any indication that this would be a problem.I understand there may be liability issues and other reasons why the shop would not want to install customer supplied parts but I believe this policy will limit the business that comes in the door as there are countless shops in the area that will install customer provided parts.This is really unfortunate because I would like to retain the freedom as a consumer to purchase parts from whichever source I prefer but be able to hire a reputable shop to do the work on the car. I have been looking for a shop for the last two years that has the level of professionalism and communication that this shop does, and plan to continue bringing my vehicles in for diagnosis, but will have to take my business elsewhere for the repair work.I would ask the owner to please reconsider this policy.

I had a great experience at Framingham Auto Service. They were extremely responsive and professional. They have an email and text notification service that keeps you extremely updated every step of the way. You get a detailed breakdown of the cars inspection (including photos of anything that comes back abnormal or needing attention) as well as a break down of what is strongly needing attention vs just recommended. They also included a clear breakdown of pricing and what they recommend without any pressure to actually have the work done. I will definitely be going back to them for future care needs! 10/10 recommend!

Fantastic service (and all contactless)! I received a detailed report (incl. photos) of my cars condition after it was inspected along with an itemized estimate via email, allowing me to choose what work I wanted to get done. They did a good job fixing what needed to be fixed and being transparent about prices- and what was a priority to fix versus a fix that can wait. They did a good job at supplying photos of what was the issue.However, they said the oil and filter were dirty- but we just changed them the week before. There were no photos to explain why they would say this.

My wife and I were thinking about buying a used car from a private seller last week. We initially liked the vehicle a lot and thought it was a good deal, so we took it to be inspected by Framingham Auto Service. They discovered that the vehicle had many problems that needed fixing, which would cost us about half the price of the car, so we ultimately decided not to buy it. We feel like we dodged a bullet.

I always go to Framingham Auto Service when I need a large amount of work done to my car. I took an Uber from my house to the shop to pick up my car the day the work was completed and the driver asked me why I take my car to a location so far away, I told him it was because I trust Edesio and his team to do only what needs to be done, to be up front in all of their communication with me, and to take car of my car. They are consistently honest and trustworthy and after 3 years of bad experience with other mechanics who talked down to me, overcharged me, or used scare tactics to persuade me to get more work done on my car than necessary, Framingham Auto Service is so refreshing. I’ve been going to them as needed for about 5 years now and I don’t plan on stopping now! Thank you!

These guys are great! They kept me updated every step of the way. They did a full inspection and provided pictures and notes of everything thats wrong with my vehicle, and gave an estimate of how much each thing would cost to fix. I had an appointment for my brakes to get done, and in the meantime, 2 days before my appt. my fiancé‘s car had a big issue with the air conditioner suddenly not working and pouring water all inside of her floor … And of course in the middle of the recent heatwave! Not only were they courteous and professional, but they worked with me to be able to have both cars done AND they fit my fiancé‘s car in before my appointment!! Fred and the rest of the team there run an excellent local business. Can’t go wrong with amazing professional and courteous owners who CARE about their customers and the work they do! I was most impressed by their full inspection they provide along with diagnostics as to what needs to be done now vs later on your car… I enjoyed being able to view the details along with photos on my phone while working without creating any kind of delay or disturbance! But in a pinch, theyre great for modern cars.Note: I keep getting requests to write a compliment on Google+ for a $25 restaurant certificate if youre a certain number reviewer. I did as was asked, was a certain number, and responded back saying I complied. No response, for months and months. But the requests keep coming. No response. So, I dont know what the point is, but definitely not a fan of the constant spamming for compliments.

Edisio is completely honest and looks out for his customers - if he can save you money or if a problem can wait a while, hell let you know; if you need him to look at something or help with tire selection, hell take a careful look free of charge and print out the information you need. Framingham Auto Service has been amazing for me! In March, my breaks went out days before I was going home to visit my family that I had not seen since August. They were understanding and helped get my car up and running in less than a day. They keep you in the loop about progress via text, they offer Uber rides so you dont have to sit there all day, and I love how detailed their inspections are when they send you a link. The link will take you to an inspection sheet that shows everything that needs to be fixed, priority, and what probably needs to be done to fix it. It also includes pictures.My service was so great the last time that I returned again to have them work on my car. The work this time was above my expectations again and I am very happy with the service I received. They are a fantastic company with people who are so nice and professional. I will continue to use their service.

Framingham Auto Service is by far the best place to bring any make of car for service. For the past two years I have brought my BMW 325, 2013 Toyota Tacoma and my two 1985 Jeep CJ7s. Junior (Edesio) the owner, is honest and won’t do any work that’s not necessary. He will take time to explain your problem and your options to fix it. His office and shop are immaculate. He uses the latest text and email notifications (including photos) to inform you every step of the way. He’s the best.

I brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. I had an appointment and was taken on time. After the inspection some repairs were recommended, but there was absolutely no hard sell. Ill be back.

Reasonable pricing and quick servicing. I live in Ashland and the nearest Nissan service center is in Marlborough, these guys did an excellent job with routine maintenance and Ill be going back there.
